Vermijd de drukte en de middaghitte in Chichén Itzá met een privédagtocht vanaf de Riviera Maya. Wees een vanaf de eersten die de beroemde Maya-ruïnes bezoekt dankzij het ophalen vanaf het hotel en de vroege aankomst om 8.00 uur (afhankelijk vanaf waar je hotel ligt, kan de tijd variëren). Je zult het gevoel hebben dat de archeologische site exclusief voor jou geopend is!Eenmaal in Chichén Itzá is de eerste plek die je bezoekt het Kukulkan kasteel. Je zult de piramide vanaf dichtbij zien en prachtige foto's kunnen maken zonder mensen. De gids geeft je een uitgebreid overzicht vanaf de site en de Mayacultuur.Na Chichén Itzá krijg je de kans om af te koelen in een cenote bij Hacienda Oxman (25 minuten vanaf Chichén Itzá). Tijdens de tocht passeer je verschillende dorpen en krijg je de landelijke kant vanaf Yucatan en het lokale leven te zien.Vervolgens bezoek je de koloniale stad Valladolid. Valladolid werd gesticht in 1543 AC en is een vanaf de oudste steden in Yucatan. Je zult lunchen in een lokaal restaurant op het centrale plein. Na de lunch kun je de stad op eigen gelegenheid verkennen.

Fantastic full day adventure. We were picked up from our hotel by Heriberto in his luxurious SUV. We arrived at Chichén Itzá just before opening, allowing us to explore the site before the crowds. Heriberto gave clear information about the archaeological site. After we headed to the beautiful Cenote, again before the crowds. We cooled off with a swim before heading to Valladolid where were treated to a large traditional lunch. We then visited some souvenir shops before heading back to our hotel.

The guide was superb. Very amiable and knowledgeable. He turned up on time for our very early pick up and got us there before the crowds and the heat. He spent a lot of time explaining everything we saw and it was so interesting! He then phoned ahead to book our lunch at a lovely restaurant where the food was delicious. First rate trip and highly recommended.

We got a personal guide to Chichen Itza but much more than that - Isaac was not only a fabulous guide & driver but photographed the family & learned about our interests to show us things that would like. My son, a budding archaeologist, loved the tour & Isaac answered our questions expertly & readily. The tour was flexible we altered when we ate & stayed longer at Chichen Itza than the town. The cenote was cooling & a super experience- Isaac pointed out the toucans, lizards & other animals !

Amazing experience. Isaac, our guide, was friendly and informative. He taught us lots about Chichen Itza and it was great to arrive before the crowds. Lunch was delicious and the cenote was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend for large family groups as it was not much more expensive than the public tour.

Staying at an all inclusive resort, it was awesome to spend an entire day in real Mexico, visiting ancient temples at Chichen Itza, swimming in the most beautiful cenote and visiting the colonial town of Valladolid with the best local food you can imagine. But wat really made this tour special was our guide Juan. A highly knowledgeable former archaeologist who is now a specialised tour guide. We’re very grateful to have spent the day with him.
