An excellent half day tour around an amazing piece of history. Rare that you get to explore something like that to the degree you can here, very little was blocked off. The guide was amazing, his historical knowledge was faultless. Perfect amount of time and missed the crowds too. Travel time wasn't too bad either.

This tour was fantastic, the colosseum was amazing and we were able to see much more than when we had visited the famous one on Rome. I also especially enjoyed the stop at the museum beforehand where we got to see some spectacular mosaics. Our guide Fares was amazing, very knowledgeable and engaging. Would thoroughly recommend.

Great place to visit. Just felt we spent more time on the bus than visiting the attraction. I understand we were a distance from El Jem, but would have been nicer to spend maybe up to an hour extra there. An information leaflet to tell us more about the amphitheater and the different parts would have been good. Guide did inform us of the basics. Saw the mosaics prior which were amazing.

Really good trip. Guide was very informative. Bus developed a fault, but this did not impact upon the visit as a replacement arrived whilst we were in the museum.

Apart from been 1/2 hr leaving seemed to spend a long time picking people up. Nearly 10 o'clock before we headed to el jem. But tour was good and informative guide seemed to know his stuff really enjoyed ??

The guide was excellent and very informative and friendly providing a wide range of facts about Tunisia that kept you interested throughout the journey/trip. It was very hot on the day and not a lot of cover in the Amphitheatre so would recommend bringing plenty of water and a fan.

Really enjoyed the trip. Very informative guide who told us lots of interesting facts about the amphitheatre. Would've liked more time at El Gem to explore the town. Didn't enjoy the mosaic museum, would've rather spent the time at El Jem. Overall value for money

The coach turned up 20 minutes late, and when we got to the colliseum and the museum the time we had just wasn't long enough to take everything in. But overall it was an enjoyable experience.

The guide was very knowledgeable. El Jem was amazing - although I could have spent a little longer there. It was a 10 minute walk from the coach to get it so we only had about 45mins in the actual amphitheatre. The museum was interesting. The coach ride going to Jem was very long - approx 2.5 hours which wasn’t made clear when booking the experience but this was still a very enjoyable trip

It was advertised as 2-4 hours but we were out from 7am until 1pm. The guide was amazing, so knowledgable and knew the rights spots for us to get drinks, photos etc. Air conditioned coach was amazing at the temp rose to 50 degrees the day we went. Trip was breathtaking

Tour guide was knowledgeable Was a bit disappointed that we only had an hour there, was a long way to travel. 5 hours travel, 30 minutes in the museum and an hour in the coliseum

The amphitheatre was incredibly impressive and I had plenty of time to wander around and appreciate it. The mosaic museum was really interesting and well laid out - I’d never seen such large and well-preserved mosaics. Our guide was excellent and struck a great balance between giving us interesting information and allowing some time for it to sink in and observe what was around us. This is only a half day which is exactly what I was looking for on a one week holiday. Great value for money!

There was no mention of going to the mosiac museum on the itinary, we have done the full day trip before and just wanted to do the coloseum this tine so bit of a shock when we wert to the mosaic museum. Also rep told us it would take 50 mins to get there but that was without all the pickups should have inculded pick up times. The colosuem as always was amazing and guide very knowledgeable

The Colosseum was brilliant, the Guide really knew his stuff ,we were told by Tui that this was going to be a 2-4 hours excursion, however this was not the case, we were picked up at 07.10 got to the colosseum at 09.40 to be told that we would have 1hour 15min there(10 mins of this was walking to and from the car park) this was just enough time for photos and quick walk around then 30 rushed mins in a mosaic place, finally back at hotel for 14.15. This should all be advertised.

Overall a great trip and experience the guide was excellent and very acknowledgable...sellers outside were a bit pushy but we expected that ..Great to see the coleseum and visit the museum. The bus trip also saw how local people lived outside the holiday resorts. Was definitely an eye opener.woukd recommend this trip definitely..

The guided tour of the Colosseum was great and so was the commentary through the entire trip. The museum was not as great due to being extremely hot however the reconstructed villa was amazing. Can increase the time to wonder the colosseum and remind where the shops and cafe facilities are.

Really enjoyed whole experience. But to improve, I think you need headphone sets so you can hear what guide is saying. Our guide was competing against loud school parties and tried really hard to make sure we could hear him but at times it was impossible. Individual headphone sets would have solved this.
