Discover the eastern side of Madeira, and explore its main attractions. Pass the 3rd highest peak of the island, traverse the Laurisilva Forest, and admire the famous houses of Santana.First, you'll visit Pico do Areeiro, standing tall at 1.818 meters, and witness the trout ponds at Ribeiro Frio. In the northeast part of the island, you'll encounter the charming straw-roofed houses of Santana. At Porto da Cruz, you'll have the opportunity to visit the Rum factory, where you can sample the rum and unwind by the sea. Lastly, the tour will take you to Caniçal, the easternmost part of Madeira Island.Route: Start in Funchal / Monte / Pico do Arieiro / Ribeiro Frio (option Levada walk Balcões) / off-road to Queimadas / Santana (optional lunch, not included in the price) / Faial / Porto da Cruz (Rum factory) / Caniçal / Machico and return to Hotel.

Excellent

I can honestly say that we have done many tours and trips in Madeira but this was our favourite. We saw a lot of highlights but the best part was our guide, Sandro. He was excellent and shared lots of local knowledge

Vraiment très bien, on à bien fait de la prendre pour visiter . Le guide très sympa on a bien rigolé avec lui. Il parlait un peu français mais quand même plus en anglais.
