Jahrhundert, die mit Antiquitäten und Wandteppichen vollgestopft ist und prächtige Deckenfresken aufweist. "Die Altstadt ist ein Labyrinth aus engen, gewundenen Gassen, gesäumt von honigfarbenen, in Sonnenlicht getauchten Gebäuden, und der winzige Fischerhafen ist bildhübsch", fügt Helen hinzu.Danach haben Sie genügend Zeit, um den Ort auf eigene Faust zu erkunden. Stöbern Sie in den zahlreichen Geschäften im Zentrum, wo Sie Souvenirs, Schmuck, Kleidung und vieles mehr erwerben können. An diesem Tag ist auch Markttag, an dem noch mehr lokale Produkte, Textilien und Lederwaren angeboten werden. Versäumen Sie es nicht, ein paar Abarcas zu kaufen - die meisten Einheimischen werden diese typischen menorquinischen Sandalen tragen. Oder nutzen Sie die Zeit, um ein oder zwei Museen zu besuchen, in einem der stimmungsvollen Hafencafés einzukehren oder die barocke Kathedrale zu besichtigen. Zum Abschluss Ihrer Tour fahren Sie auf den Monte Toro, den höchsten Punkt der Insel, von wo aus Sie die Aussicht auf das Meer genießen und ein paar Fotos machen können.

We sold this experience by the Tui rep as the most attractive aspect for us of the excursion was the fantastic market. We did not go on the guided tour as we wanted to spend as much time at the market. However the market was cancelled and we were not informed of this otherwise we would not Taken this option. We feel we have been completely let down by Tui as we were misinformed. We therefore feel the tour was completely miss sold. We paid €44 each and feel very let down.

A good trip and a very good guide in Daniel who seemed very knowledgeable. The walking tour around Ciutadella was about the right length and at a comfortable speed for us oldies. Although Ciutadella was only a short bus trip from our hotel, it was definitely worth taking this trip.

It was half day tour. Could have done with an extra hour. Good content, very interesting. Liked the coffee and biscuit at the convent. Daniel the tour guide was EXCELLENT. Very knowledgable and a very funny guy. We had lots of laughs whilst still being educated 👍

Visit to El Toro and Casa Olivar was excellent. Views were outstanding. Tour guide Dani was very interesting and informative. Citudella was a beautiful place to visit, full of history. Trip was advertised as 2 to 4 hrs. It was actually nearly 6 hours including travel.

Really enjoyed it very knowledgeable great tour. The only problem was they walked at such a fast pace didn’t get time for photos and struggled to keep up. Should offer a slower speed for those that don’t walk very fast. Also longer period of free time.

Es gab insgesamt nicht sehr viele Informationen über die Stadt. Zwar schon über die Geschichte aber wenig über Gebäude. Die Villa am Schluss mussten wir alleine ansehen, der guide hat nichts mehr dazu erzählt. Die freie Zeit war genau dann als die Geschäfte zu gemacht haben. Da viele Kinder dabei waren war es schon gut dass die tour nicht so lange ging. Da wir leider noch Leute in son bou abholen mussten war es ein großer Umweg und hat dann doch genervt als wir gerne ins hotel zurück wollten.

Die Tour insgesamt war sehr schön. Ich hätte mir auf dem verg El Toro etwas mehr Zeit gewünscht. Und der Guide hat gut erklärt, aber ich hätte mir mehr Infos zu der Gegend/Landschaft während der Fahrt gewünscht.

We had a fantastic day. Really enjoyed the visit up the mountain to start with, the views were amazing. The walking to of Ciutadella is brilliant. Nicola is very knowledgeable and we saw lots of beautiful buildings. Nicola then gave us tips for cafes, food and other places to visit during the free time. We’re so glad we did this trip!

Daniel the guide was excellent. He was knowledgeable and funny. Price was a little high, my 14 /16 year olds had to pay adult prices. £162 As we paid for all inclusive, we feel we should have been provided with a packed lunch from the hotel. This was not given as an option from the rep.

We had 2hours of "free time" in Ciutadella (in peak temperatures) after the guide. 1 hour would have been enough, allowing slightly earlier return to resort. Guide (Francis) was informative & light-hearted.

Great stop at El Toro however could have done with another 15 mins or so to take in all the views as well as the sites. Tour guide Daniel fantastic and very knowledgeable with good sense of humour. Walking tour of city was very informative however pace for us a little fast especially in the heat. Enjoyed our free time afterwards and great knowing we had a meeting point and bus to take us back to our hotel after. Overall a great trip and we would recommend it. Thank you!

During the heat and high humidity, reducing the free time might be beneficial, 2.5 hours straight after the guided tour was a bit too much for some people. Perhaps introducing an ice-cream stop, so people can have a relaxed 1/2 hours before their free time maybe worth considering

Brilliant tour, Francis was an excellent guide and made the trip really interesting and kept my children interested too. Beautiful place to visit and Mount Torro was a lovely stop.

Lovely and very informative tour. Beautiful place, my interesting historical facts. Plenty of opportunities to take pictures. I love the historical anecdotes and would have liked more about the stately home we went to see. Guide Daniel quite knowledgeable but a bit repeatatative and boring. Not sure if the pace of the walking could have been tailored to the tour participants a bit more. We've struggled with the heat a bit especially older people and pregnant lady.

The time spent in Ciutadella was a bit too long and we were not aware that there was a public transport leaving for the Ciutadella literally 20 mins before the TUI bus! If we were told this, we’d have preferred to maybe return in our own or do the whole trip ourselves.

Wir konnten viel interessante Dinge über die Stadt erfahren, hatten aber auch die Möglichkeit nach der Führung sie selbst etwas zu erkunden. Die Führung als solches war nicht zu lang und nicht zu kurz und durch unseren Tourguide einfach toll. Er hat es mit so viel Engagement und Spaß erzählt und rübergebracht, dass es nicht langweilig wurde. Er war bedacht und hat sich Zeit genommen für Fragen von unserer Seite. Auch die Busfahrt war sehr angenehm! Preisleistung wirklich top!

Daniel the tour guide was wonderful, very funny and got British humour which made the tour much more relaxed and relatable. He gave information well and didn’t overdo the history side. Timings in each location was perfect. The female bus driver (can’t remember her name, sorry) was polite.
