Die Caldera von Santorin, die vor 3.500 Jahren durch einen gewaltigen Vulkanausbruch entstand, ist eines der größten Naturschauspiele des Mittelmeeres. Auf dieser morgendlichen Bootsfahrt gehen Sie an Bord eines hölzernen Segelboots und gleiten zu Nea Kameni und Palea Kameni - den beiden vulkanischen Inseln, die aus dem Wasser ragen - und weiter entlang des Randes der Caldera.Als Erstes besuchen Sie Nea Kameni, die größere der beiden Inseln. Wandern Sie hinauf zu ihrem Krater und schreiten Sie über erstarrte Lavafelder, um die dampfenden Gase zu sehen. Genießen Sie die Aussicht auf die raue, mondähnliche Landschaft und Santorin in der Ferne. Als Nächstes fahren Sie zu den Thermalquellen von Palea Kameni, wo Sie die Möglichkeit haben, im mineralhaltigen Wasser zu schwimmen, das eine Temperatur von 35 °C erreichen kann. Am Ufer befindet sich eine orthodoxe Kapelle, die sich hervorragend zum Fotografieren eignet.Danach geht es zurück aufs Boot, um entlang der Küste zu fahren, wo weiß getünchte Häuser hoch über dem nördlichen Rand der Caldera thronen, bevor Sie zum Hafen von Athinios zurückkehren.

The day said it was a half day but it then said between 4-8hours , it was a full day ! Although it was a really nice day ! You have to pay €5 to get on the volcano which was suggested was an option but it’s not, unless you stay on the boat you will have to pay it, the swimming in the hot springs was good although they said you need to be a strong swimmer , I don’t class myself as a strong swimmer and it was fine with the float they provided , really enjoyed the stop for lunch , beautiful place

We enjoyed the full experience from walking on the Volcano to swimming in the hot springs & calling in for a bite to eat afterwards was the end to a perfect day. Would highly recommend this trip. However you need to be fully fit to walk up to the volcano and a good/strong swimmer to get to hot springs.

Thoroughly enjoyed the cruise. 3 points that could be improved upon… 1) Our ticket for the cruise from Tui had no QR code on and the guide kept sending us to the back of the line due to this 2) The captain waited until after the guide had done her welcome briefing before any sort of safety advice - eg where the life jackets were. This information was not relayed to until we were well out to sea. Should have been before we set sail. 3) Abdolute chaos at the end. Nobody knew which bus to get on.

Journée très bien organisée avec navette venant nous récupérer à l'hôtel, guide parlant le français et super sympathique. Skipper et personnel de navigation très serviable. Prix raisonnable. Tour magnifique.

Well organised from the start. Pick up on time, the stops were well explained. A bit chaotic at the finish at the port with people trying to get on the correct buses but all good in the end. Excellent day out
