Blue Mountains Fahrradtour

We loved our day in the mountains really interesting and informative tour . The guides while we were on the bikes were fantastic and kept us safe from other vehicles . The mountains are beautiful, every local was friendly and said hello while we cycling. Word of warning massive pot holes on the roads and my bike seemed to deviate towards them. Lunch was tasty and the restaurant was super clean . The only reason I have not done a 10 out of 10 was because the pickup was late by 30 minutes .

I did the hike and bike ride and both were excellent. Staff were very good, informative and concerned for our safety. It was a very long day, almost 11 hours and didn't need brunch and lunch. I thought it was a little expensive but really enjoyed it and so different to the beach and resort.

Overall the tour was excellent, all the guides were up beat and created a fun atmosphere. The negatives would be a lack of water, it was a very hot day plus we were cycling and I felt really dehydrated. And my booking didn't mention there would be swimming so I didn't bring swim wear.

This is a fantastic tour, a little criticism is that the tour does not take you to a local market (Unless you class a shop at the venue as this) the bikes are not mountain bikes but American cruisers and although the photos show cycling down a mountain path you actually cycle down the road, this said it’s still great to see the local area and some small adjustments would improver the tours for any avid cyclist, anyone can roll down a hill !

All parts were fun, be prepared for a long drive up the mountain. Info does not say anything about a swim at the end, this should be listed as was great and you need to add swim wear to items to bring.

It starts with a bus ride in air conditioning with guides and a photographer who share information about local work, life and play of the Jamaicans. The chance to drive through areas and communities was quite humbling as Jamaicans work hard to make a living. You can see such contrasts, a real eye opener. The bikes are not state of the art, but the breaks work, and that's all you need! The views are stunning. The brunch and later lunch was tastey. Water, fruit juice, and a beer of you wanted one (not recommended by me, you need your whits about you to dodge potholes, but that's part of the fun). Guides are ahead and behind ensuring our safety, and a rescue vehicle, and the bus with your stuff follows. A coffee making demo, and again how the crop is harvested was shared. Many questions answered with honesty. At the end, the fresh water pool with a waterfall was a refreshing and joyful experience with jumps and belly flops! Thoroughly enjoyed it. Its a memory I will have forever. Please do not edit my words- use all or none Tui. TY

Great trip, driver really knowledgable and the guides were amazing. Bring plenty of dollars as they do ask for a token of appreciation

Overall the entire experience was good, the guide gave a comprehensive safety brief and had a very good understanding of the subject.
