Beautiful coastline. Davida the guide was excellent. Amalfi far too busy for me. Glad I went but wouldn't go back. The ferry to Salerno was enjoyable. It's a long day on the bus make sure to have plenty of water.

Whilst we enjoyed this trip overall, it wasn't as enjoyable as other trips we had been on. We stopped for photos going through Positano but had not real time there. When we arrived at Amalfi it was incredibly busy - be prepared. Amalfi itself is beautiful but it was hard to appreciate it due to the number of tourists there. We paid extra to go on a boat trip to see the coastline. Then took the ferry to Solerno, again we had no free time there, just got straight back on the bus.

The ride along the coastline was lovely, very good Driver. Unfortunately the guide insisted on talking incessantly about her life throughout the journey, pointing out things of interest as an afterthought. The walking tour of Almalfi was pointless. The pace was unsuitable for some of the guests and the unchecked headsets kept cutting out. It felt like she wanted to get rid of us asap. The time in Almalfi was far too long. An earlier ferry would have been better. Very disappointing trip.

Top uitstap. Luciana is een goede gids. Heel sympathiek en geeft ook extra informatie ivm de gewoontes aldaar. Ook dikke duim aan de chauffeur, want om langs de Amalfitaanse kust te rijden moet je echt kunnen rijden !

Generally we enjoyed the Tour, we did feel that we had a little too much time in the town of Amalfi. Also , when we boarded the ferry there were no safety procedure instructions in case of an emergency.

Enjoyed the tour guide who explained so much about the area. The extra boat tour up and down the amalfi coast was good but cost an extra 15 euros each. Ferry over to Salerano was bit pointless Although looked like nice city. We just got on yhe bus and headed back to the hotel. Day over. Substitute the ferry for the small boat up & down coast. Which would remove the pointless ferry journey

Guide was outstanding, his knowledge & enthusiasm was infectious. Nothing was too much trouble & throughout the day he kept everyone informed of next steps & contributed to what was a great day out by coach, small boat & ferry along the Amalfi coast. Only possible negative was the additional cost small boat trip from Amalfi. It was such an important part of the trip we couldn't understand why it was not automatically included as part of itinerary (optional extra £ at point of booking).

Really enjoyed the tour, we paid the extra 15 euros each to do the boat trip which was lovely. Lovely mix of shops to look round and would have walked along the harbour area had the weather not been so hot 33c. It’s worth the money for the lovely views, sit opposite side to driver on coach for best view. Our guide was lovely.

The guide was so informative about the area and really cared about all her guests The driver was so friendly and navigated those scary Amalfi roads with ease.The scenery was absolutely stunning highly recommend this excursion. Little tip is to sit on the right hand side of the bus and the left hand side of the hydrofoil as you get to see the most beautiful scenery. The only downside was waiting in the scorching heat to board the hydrofoil which took so long.

This was my favourite trip of the holiday. The guide was very friendly, and his historical and scientific knowledge was great. Learnt so much about the sorrento peninsular and Italian traditions and superstitions Plenty of free time to explore Amalfi town. Although sold as half day, it was about 8 hours including travel. Great value for money. Highly recommend!

The schedule and duration was perfect. We had the bonus of going on an extra 1 hour boat trip (in addition to the ferry to Salerno) to see the areas each side of Amalfi from the sea, for just 15 euros pp extra. There was a good balance between site seeing from a coach, a boat and free time to explore on foot and to have lunch, at a reasonably priced restaurant recommended by our tour guide. Our guide Davida was excellent. There was nothing to dislike!

Very good trip, guide was excellent Leanardo was full of information. Trip not to long on what was a very hot day , good stops for photos and drinks .took us to a good restaurant for lunch .Amalfi very nice shops , back to hotel in time for last hour in the pool.. Grand day out ..????????????

We enjoyed the trip around the coast it was stunning. The timing, good. The guide ,excellent. We enjoyed time spent in Amalfi but felt it was just a little bit bit too long . The ferry was ok but was a pain in the ********** waiting for ages to get on. The windows which were not very clear to see through when on the lower. We were extremely annoyed ,we booked hotel pick up but had to walk 15 mins on a road with no pavement into oncoming traffic . It was misleading it was not hotel pick up.

This trip is all about the scenery. Just right on timings. The only downside is the lack of shade when waiting to catch the ferry to Salerno.

The coach was late picking us up but otherwise the trip was very good. The driver was excellent - coping with roadworks and tight passing points. The guide was very friendly and engaging. He found a great restaurant for us to sit in comfort for lunch and the food was excellent. The ferry was a nice element. Only issue was the offer of an extra boat trip around the bay for additional payment - which was not mentioned in the booking. We did not take up this offer as we had not expected it.

The content of the tour was good but the guide was appalling. Her English was so heavily accented and her grammar so poor that neither my wife nor I had any idea what she was talking about. For example her pronunciation of private was pre- vet-ae and by the time we had figured that out, she had moved on to another subject, leaving us clueless about the original subject. Not to mention that she tried to lead the group off from the meeting point when she knew my wife was in the toilet!

Scenic coach trip is fine if you get to sit on the right side of the coach. If you sit on the driver's side it was a waste of time as you could not enjoy the coastal scenery. The trip was saved by taking the additional boat trip at Amalfi at an extra cost of 15 euros each. The ferry to Salerno was ok but no great shakes, just a means to an end.

I actually thought we were travelling to Amalfi by boat and returning via land. My mistake I suppose . We did our own boat trip in Amalfi which was great. The trip back to the hotel seemed endless as we travelled by ferry to Salermo , then all the way back on a coach . This spoiled it really for me , but no one was to blame . I should have read the itinary more carefully. Wouldn’t do this trip again .

This in my opinion was one of the best tours I have ever done the coach was clean with great air con with a great guide and driver.i also did the extra boat trip up and down the Amalfia coast 30 euro for two this trip would suit people with restricted movement has there was no need to walk far but you must be mobile.My wife has a bad hip I have a bad back and we managed fine lots to see stunning

Our guide was great, the Land side of the journey was as expected. However the ferry part was a disappointment. We met as required by the guide at 2pm which meant we were the last group onto the ferry. We sat inside, disappointingly because we were last. There were no window seats available and could not see very much as the windows were high up and dirty. In summary the Land part and Amalfi was great. The ferry was only a means to an end and in our view a waste of time.

This tour was not what was described and for us a waste of time and money. We chose it as it enabled us to see Salerno but sadly we simply got off the boat and jumped back on the coach to return via the motorway not having had the xhance to spend anytime in the City!! You completely misled us and we would not recommend this tour. Please recompense us for your misrepresentation. We look forward to hearing from you.

Tour was in the main very good. Very safe driver, knowledgeable guide who was entertaining and lovely. Good short boat trip along the coast as an added cost. What was disappointing was that once ferry docked at Salerno- where we were expecting a bit of shore time- we went directly onto coach to take us back to Sorrento… begging the question what the point of the ferry trip was.

We assumed that the extra coastline boat trip was part of the Sea and Land. excursion. It may be informative to tell people that there is an extra excursion available while in Amalfi when they book. I imagine it would be difficult to add the trip as part of Sea and Land in case weather cancels the extra boat trip. The extra trip was very well organised by our excellent guide.

Lovely day with a very knowledgeable guide. We did think that Capri itself is in danger of being overpopulated with people and vehicles!! Chair lift is a must at Anacapri for the views.

The driver was amazing taking us along the coast with sheer drops so we could see the fantastic scenery. It was good to stop for coffee and toilets on the way to Amalfi. There was a lot of time given to explore Amalfi but it meant you had time for lunch and shopping if you wanted. The ferry was really busy and we couldn't get a seat outside. The windows were not very clear so we couldn't see the views. I had to leave my seat and go and stand outside to try and take some photos.

Have hearing aids so found it hard to follow . Told guide. She did advise that I kept close to her but it was difficult to keep up with her walking pace,especially in Amalfi and Salerno. That’s why I wasn’t able to give a 10.

The tour guide and coach driver were excellent, we were fully informed throughout the trip. No question went unanswered. The tour guide kept eye contact when she was speaking. Only issue was the comfort break, they should announce before holidaymakers get of the coach that they need to purchase a token for coffee/ice cream etc. This would save time and confusion

Our driver Catello navigated the roads very well meaning we felt safe at all times. He even serenaded us on the journey back to the hotel. Our guide David was friendly, knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. He offered an additional boat trip when we reached Amalfi but wasn't pushy about it. That trip was amazing and we'll worth the money. Overall we couldn't fault the trip and want to thank David and Catello for looking after us. Would highly recommend this trip.

The initial part of the tour was by bus, and as we had previously been in the Amalfi Gems trip, much of this was the same, although without the stops in Positano, Pontone and Ravello. What made this trip was the additional boat trip from Amalfi up and down the coast. I actually thought more of the trip would have been in a boat. Ferry was crowded and windows too high to see out of during that part of the trip.

Guide Vincente and driver Jean Franco were excellent. Good English spoken and lots of information imparted in a fun and knowledgeable way. Our welfare was always utmost in Vincente’s mind and he was very helpful and kind too. Excellent driving from Jean Franco ensured a safe and comfortable journey. Thoroughly recommend.

The coach trip was excellent, the ferry transfer was very underwhelming. The ferry was so full there was no chance of a decent view or an opportunity to take photos. That's the luck of the draw though, if we'd been at the head of the queue we would have been able to get a decent seat.

Es war eine schöne Tour. Unser Guide Luciana hat sich grosse Mühe gegeben, uns viel zu zeigen und zu erklären. Unser Fahrer Caletto hat uns sicher gefahren und uns ein Gratis Konzert gegeben. Was uns weniger gefallen hat, war der grosse Verkehr. Es war sehr schade, dass wir in Positano nicht aussteigen konnten.

Chaotic boarding the boat from Amalfi to Salerno - too many people on board boat. Too many people on boat, too hot, unable to appreciate views. Took well over an hour from getting picked up to starting the tour, Sorrento was very busy and various pick up points. Tour guide was lovely and very knowledgeable. Coach driver was brilliant and had the added bonus of his singing along the way. His driving skills were impeccable. Overall a good day but too long spent on the bus and very little time at

Coach trip very good. Guide very good. Boat trip very good. Organisation very good. Less time in Amalfi and more time in Salerno would have improved trip. Amalfi too touristy, too expensive, not impressed at all.

Rosella & castella were superstars. Rosella was lovely very helpful, castella sang on way back which entertained everyone & his driving superb. Rosella was fantastic during the situation where lady took ill.

I would like to put some more questions to Guide Ralf who took us to Pompeii and Herculaneum. He forgot to give out the site plans with the tickets. An important improvement required. My email to be passed to Ralf to contact me is sydneyrcxavier@aol.com On last day due to heavy rain our suitcase got socked in rain water and all our clothes in the suitcase got wet. No advice given to get them wrapped up in the airport for good measure. Again an improvement is required in your service.

I thought that the ferry to Salerno was a waste of time as unless you got an outside seat the windows inside were too high to see out of properly and were filthy. Maybe a small boat trip coming back to Amalfi could be an alternative

We saw Amalfi coast by land last year but stopped in Positano and Ravello. We just drove past Amalfi. This trip was what we wanted, a stop off in Amalfi and a chance to see the coast by boat. We had a lot of free time in Amalfi for the optional boat trip and to explore the town and Cathedral. We then spent time having a coffee and Lemon Delice in the famous old Pansa café while people watching. Catello was a safe driver and our guide David was informative and professional. Good value for money.

We were at the pick up point 15 minutes early at 8am but the bus was 40 minutes late which meant we were on our feet for almost an hour as there is no seating at the pick up point We were given 3 hours free time as the ferry was not until 2pm Which was to long. The ferry was just a crossing to Salerno no time there just on the bus for the drive back. I know that the weather was not great but took almost 4 hours to get back, did not see the point of the ferry if it was just to meet the coach

Our guide David was very good. Lots of info and good humour. Catelo our driver very skilled. We liked everything about the tour. My only negative is it was a little too long. We needed to be at the meeting point by 1.30 or latest 1.45 to catch the ferry in good time.
