Die Tour hat 14 Haltestellen und dauert 90 Minuten, wenn Sie nicht aussteigen

Poor commentary. Very few interesting facts. German commentary playing over the bus speakers was very distracting. Poor visibility of several points of interest.

Although the experience was booked through TUI there was no information whatsoever on the boat and we were told that the Hop On Hop Off buses were nothing to do with the boat or any member on it. Hence we had to find our own way to the first pick up point using the Hop On Hop Off website. The pick up point was not that easy to find. Once on the bus the pre-programmed commentary was interesting and the 90 minute circular journey was enjoyable - we saw parts of Cologne we would not have seen

Was not told by tui rep until night before that boat would be moored further away.we would not have had time to go on any of our trips planned.could not cancel as less than 24 hours notice.we lost all our money and the rep on board was no help at all

The bus drove through uninteresting commercial areas. The bus broke down at a bus stop, the driver did not tell anyone, and after waiting 40 minutes, I inquired and was told a replacement bus was on the way. It arrived and did not move for a further 20 minutes as it had to fit in to the schedule. A complete waste of money.

While this bus did what it said on the tin, the basic problem is that there is not a great deal of "interesting Cologne" that can be seen by bus. All of the centre is a pedestrian zone. Added to this was that, despite fine weather, the roof was kept on the bus, further restricting visibility. The Cathedral was awesome and our walk around its immediate vicinity enjoyable. However, I would give the bus trip a miss.

We enjoyed a trip on the Hop on Hop off tour. As we were short on time in the city the trip enabled us to see most of the sites from the bus. The information through the headphones was clear.

We were at the front of the queue at 9.35am for the 10am bus - 1st bus of the day but it was late arriving. We'd been told the round trip would take 1.5 hours ....it took longer despite the driver missing out some parts, due to traffic. Apart from the cathedral (seen by foot) and the area near the zoo, Cologne is an ugly city with nothing of notable interest to see, so it wasn't a pleasurable tour at all. The driver was friendly enough when we got on the bus. My headphones/equipment didn't work.

We found, surprisingly, that there was very little of interest on this bus tour of Cologne. It was difficult to listen to the English commentary on our earphones as the German bus commentary was quite loud and took over. The seat I first sat on was damp and on the next seat the earphone socket was broken. The seats were quite uncomfortable. We would have been better just visiting the Cathedral and the main square. The ship was docked in an ideal location for doing this.

We appreciated hearing information in our language, but also had the local language going the same time through a intercom. So it was hard to hear with two languages going on the same time.
Drivers were very nice and helpful, and a good way to drive and see the area !!

Tour great,however no hopping on or off as not enough time to enjoy the city! A days stop over would be much better We disembarked, caught the bus, did the tour, briefly visited the Cathedral then back on the boat !!

Only small issue related to the audio guide in that the local dialect came over the buses speaker system, whilst you are trying to listen through the earpiece to your own dialect. Bit distracting.
