Die Tour war sehr informativ und wir haben einiges von Kalabrien erfahren mehr muss auch gar nicht sein. Unsere Reiseleiterin Silke war super freundlich und hat uns sehr informiert. In Tropea sowie auch in Pizzo könnte man den Aufenthalt ein wenig reduzieren aber ansonsten war alles top.

Die Verkostung in Tropea hätte ich mir ein wenig ausführlicher vorgestellt. Hatte eher den Charakter einer "kurz und bündig" Verkaufsveranstaltung. Sowohl in Tropea als auch in Pizzo genügend Freizeit. Capo Vaticano ist halt "nur" der Besuch des Aussichtspunktes. ?????

Reiseleiterin Silke war sehr informativ und es war eine kurzweilige ,interessante Tour.In Tropea hatten wir 4Std.Aufenthalt mit Mittagessen ,hätte auch weniger Zeit 3-3,5 Std.ausgereicht ,obwohl wir hoch und runter zum Strand gelaufen sind ,sowie zum Aussichtsturm mit Kapelle und Panoramagarten.Die Einkaufsgassen sind übersichtlich.In Pizzo 2Std.Aufenthalt mit Tartuffo Eis essen ,hätte auch etwas weniger sein können.

It was a very well organised trip. The guide gave us headphones so that we didn’t have to listen to commentary in both German and English. There was little information prior to the trip about the announcing walking required which might have been helpful to some people. The dropping off at a lot of hotels was very laborious

First 90 minutes spent travelling to and picking up other guests. Was told it was for English speaking guests but then spoke half English half German. Audio was very hit and miss and I can say I didn’t really learn or understand half of what the guide waffled on about! Tropea was lovely to wander around but Pizzo was a waste of time as when we arrived the shops were closed so we were just ushered to a bar for Tartufo. Could have done this myself.

Der Ausflug war sehr eindrucksvoll. Die Führung durch die Reiseleiterin war sehr informativ und kurzweilig. Es gab in Tropea genügend Freizeit um individuell noch unterwegs zu sein. In Pizzo konnte man leckeres Eis genießen, allerdings war der Aufenthalt in der Eisdiele etwas zu lang, es blieb zu wenig Zeit, um Pizzo noch individuell zu erkunden. Dennoch rundum ein gelungener Ausflug.

Der Bus kam pünktlich, um uns abzuholen. Der Guide war auch sehr freundlich. Sie hat alles ausführlich sowohl in Deutsch als auch Englisch erklärt. Insgesamt bekommt man bei diesem Ausflug recht viel zu sehen. Man sollte sich jedoch bewusst sein, dass es teilweise etwas anstrengend sein kann. Der Bus hält immer etwas weiter weg und von dort aus geht es dann steil bergauf/ bergab. Gerade bei hohen Temperaturen sollte man das nicht unterschätzen.

Die Tour ist eher kurzweilig. Der Ausflugstag begann leicht verregnet. Dadurch konnten wir am Aussichtspunkt in Capo Vaticano leider Sizilien nicht sehen. In Tropea erhielten wir eine Stadtführung. Anschließend waren wir in der Pizzeria Titino Mittagessen. Sehr lecker. Der letzte Stopp war in Pizzo. Hier hat das weltberühmte Tartufo-Eis seinen Ursprung. Wer Eis mag, sollte es unbedingt probieren. Alles in allem ist der Ausflug in Ordnung.

Trip ran on time with a comfortable bus and fantastic tour guide. Was booked for an English guide but had other guests on the tour requiring other languages which was catered for but felt a little disruptive / repetitive at times. Beautiful towns, knowledgeable guide but overall felt a little costly for a day with kids over 12 being charged as adults and no food or drink included.

Ich hätte mir gewünscht, dass wir mehr Zeit am Cap Vaticano gehabt hätten. Da sind wir einfach nur vom Bus zum Aussichtspunkt gelaufen und gleich wieder zurück. Die Zeit in Tropea fand ich allgemein zu lang. Wenn man sich nur in der Stadt aufhält, sind auch 30 Minuten weniger okay. Für Pizzo war alles soweit in Ordnung. Unsere Reiseleitung, Tina, hat uns viel erzählt. Das fand ich sehr gut. Die Organisation war auch tadellos. Ich würde die Tour jederzeit weiterempfehlen.

Pizzo ist ein Traum das muss man einfach gesehen haben so viel schöne Dinge können einfach nicht in Worte gepackt werden. Für lauf faule oder Erkrankte Menschen gibt es dort Tuk Tuks die man pro Person und Pro Fahrt für 5€ mieten kann, die Fahrer sind dort einmalig. Capo Vaticano ist Natur pur so wie reichlich Geschichte . Man darf sich nur nicht Alt soviel erhoffen, da drum herum nichts ist. Tropea ist eine sehr Historische Stadt mit viel versteckten Gassen und Geschichte Lieben Dank Betty??

Es war Toll. Die Guide Mitarbeiterin war großartig! Schade zu wenig Aufenthalt in Pizzo wie angekündigt, keine Wahl gehabt sich selber den berühmten Tartufo Eis zu kaufen(wurden direkt in eine Eisdiele gebracht??) Ein Input von mir, eine Handynr. Für den Notfall wäre auch vom Vorteil.

Although we enjoyed the trip, the last part of it Pizzo we thought was a waste of time. We spent about an hour there saw the prison just from the outside, were then ferried down to a gelato bar where our guide sat us down. The impression we got was that they would be free. They clearly weren’t. In our opinion you should cancel the last part and spend more time in Tropea. The guide at times seemed to rush the tour. We hope you find this useful.

Our guide was absolutely great. Clear instructions , well prepared and took care of us really well. We strongly recommend the lady. The only thing we di not like about this excursion was the time of the day it was organised. It is impossible to sightsee the towns during the day. Der Ausflug war ganz entspannt und informativ. Trotz des Hinweises auf glutenfreier Ernährung ist bei der Dame im Shop/ Verkostung nichts angekommen. Somit konnten wir nichts probieren. Sie wollte auch keine weiteren Gläser aufmachen. Der TUI Guide konnte uns auch bei dem Aufenthalt von 2 Stunden kein Restaurant empfehlen wo wir was glutenfreies essen konnten. Somit waren wir nur damit beschäftigt was finden und konnten die Stadt nicht genießen.

This was just about the only good thing about our holiday. We are back home now and will be making a proper complaint. £3000 for a really poor 4 star hotel is criminal. This trip was good, the TUI rep very good but it was definitely overpriced and with pick ups at 1,000,000 hotels, the time wasted on drop offs was ridiculous. For example TWO coaches picked up at our hotel. TWO coaches went to drop people off at the first hotel and the half on the other coach not getting off there, GOT ON OURS.

Der Aufenthalt in Pizzo war viel zu lang bei brütender Hitze znd Null Schatten! Die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind dort auch äußerst spärlich, was soll man daher die ganze Zeit machen? Nur Eisessen zwangsweise geht nicht. Alles andere war super. Reiseleiterin lustig und kompetent, hatte gute Tipps

Great tour overall. Enjoyed most of it. Was a very hot day though and a lot of walking which handsome struggles with. Product tasting in Tropea/Pizzo and walk around was excellent. There is only one thing I would say. On a downside was expecting as advertised to see Piedigrotta Church but was not taken there. Personally I would have preferred to see this as oppose to Capo Vaticano which, whilst a lovely view, was time I would rather have spent at Piedigrotta Church.

Es war eine Verkaufsveranstaltung: Einkehr bei Tante Anna um einzukaufen, danach 3 Stunden Aufenthalt in Tropea, wenig Interessantes erfahren...in Pizzo Tartuffo Eis in Eisdiele von Silke empfohlen , danach 1 1/2 Stunden zur freien Verfügung. Mit Taxi wäre es besser für mich gewesen..

Ein sehr schöner Ausflug mit einer tollen Reisebeleitung von TUI, die uns sehr viele Infos zu den Ausflugszielem geben konnte. Der Tag in den beiden Orten war kurzweilig und sehr schön. Auch den Busfahrer, der uns sicher und bequem zu den Orten brachte, und wieder auf die Urlsaubsanlage zurück möchten wir auch herzlich danken.

Tourguide Silke sehr zu empfehlen! Fröhlich, stand immer für Fragen zur Verfügung, sehr gut geplanter Ablauf mit Informationen und Zeit, um sich alleine umzuschauen. Ca.7:30 Uhr Start mit Bus am Falkensteiner Resort.Ausreichend Zeit am Capo Vaticano (1.Ziel) für die super Aussicht Richtung Ätna und Stromboli! 2.Halt Tropea mit Stadtführung+Verkostung+Zeit, um selber zu erkunden. Pizzo (3.Stopp). Chance Tartufo Eis zu probieren+Murat/Pidiegrotta zu besichtigen. Ca.16:30Uhr zurück.

Unfortunately the tour guide wasn't particularly good, most of the commentary on the coach was in German and we booked an English tour and there were far too many drop offs on the way back to our hotel..the return took over 2 hours!

Die Gruppe ca 50 Personen war viel zu groß, von small Group Tour konnte man nicht sprechen! Da uns ein weiterer Bus in der selben Größe folgte, wurden wir von einem Punkt zum nächsten getrieben. Das Capo Vaticano ist nett aber für 30 Minuten zu lange Anreise, besser weglassen. Der Rundgang durch Tropea war informativ, allerdings durch die größe der Gruppe schwierig nicht den Anschluss zu verlieren. Die Gruppe war zu groß. Es ging alles zu schnell und man konnte kaum stehen bleiben, um zu gucken, da war die Gruppe schon wieder zwei.Man musste sehen das man den Anschluss an Dr Gruppe nicht verliert.

I was expecting a guided tour for the money that I was charged. It was not one. It was more oriented for German speakers with very little information/ guidance provided in English. It’s also 30mins at Capo Vaticano, 4hrs at Tropea and 2hrs at Pizzo. We struggled to keep pave with the guide as we had children with us. The guide also did not seem knowledgeable to answer any questions about anything else (streets, artefacts/ culture) that was not part of the tour script that she was following.

First of all I want to say both Tropea and Pizzo are beautiful, they are absolutely worth the visit. We really enjoyed both towns, do not miss out on getting an ice cream in Pizzo! However the tour was awful, it was increasingly unorganised and we had these radio things so we could listen to the guide but unless you're in the first front few people you cannot hear a word being said, so we didn't really get much out of the tour at all.

Die Reiseleiterin Heike hat interessant erzählt und uns genug Zeit gelassen die Gegend auch auf eigene Faust zu erkunden. Es hat viel Spaß gemacht und war genau der richtige Mix aus Informationen, Freizeit und Gruppenaktivität. Kurz gesagt: ein von vorne bis hinten gelungener Ausflug.
