I have given a zero score, as out TUI rep booked the trip for the wrong day. No correction Information was received, so we did not know what time the trip would leave on the correct day. TUI rang to make sure everything ok, but obviously we dud not end up on the trip and had to see the rep for a refund..... were still waiting for the money to land in our account 5 days later !!

Parfois un peu rapide et pas toujours le temps de ce poser mais très bien. Personnellement, je ne suis pas rentré avec le car je suis resté sur place pendant encore 2 h, 2h30 et je suis rentré par mes propres moyens, ce qui m’a a fait une journée quasiment complète avec une partie organisée et une partie plus déconstruit par moi-même très chouette journée.

Knowledgeable guide Unfortunately the quality of sound through the earpiece in St John's Co Cathedral was poor. The audio visual was excellent. The transfer from minibus into language groups was a bit chaotic. It would have helped if the process was explained to us in advance so that we would have been prepared rather than be wondering what was happening.

Mijn oortjes gingen niet bij de audiovisuele activietieit. Ik heb enkel muziek gehoord. De gids had wel een microfoontje bij haar maar niet iedereen kon het goed horen. Je zou misschien eens moeten voorzien dat iedereen ook een oortje zou moeten hebben. Dan kan iedereen goed meevolgen.

I was a little worried after reading some reviews, however, Vincent our guide was excellent very knowledgeable. Pace was suitable given this is a taster of Valleta. There were toilets available and we had time to get a drink. Coach pick up and drop off fine.

Wir hatten die St Johns Cathedrale nicht dabei und mussten so die Zeit leider überbrücken. Warum im Angebot das nicht dabei war wissen wir nicht und bei allen anderen Teilnehmern schon?! Wir machten eine extra Führung aber vielleicht könnte man da nachbessern! Sonst war alles perfekt, danke

The pick up from the hotel was a bit confusing but once we were sorted then journey went well. Very busy but our guide made sure we stayed together. A beautiful city, much bigger than I expected. Lots of information given to us. The only problem was the lack of public loos which of course is totally out of TUI's control. The show at the end of the tour was very interesting

Thrown onto coach in the morning with lots of other groups of people - was given to introduction or what was happening. We changed at Valletta to our tour guide who was lovely, but we felt like we were rushing round so quickly that we had no time to look at anything. We could hardly hear her on the microphone either. There was no mention of toilet facilities or opportunity to grab a drink - we had small kids with us. After the 5D experience we decided to leave and make own way back.

the tour was very enjoyable, informative and the guide was excellent. The only slight issue was the when we booked, the option to include the co-cathedral was not obvious and so we had to buy additional tickets to enter which was a bit annoying.

Philip was a quiet but informative guide. It was good to start at the gardens overlooking the harbour as it gave an opportunity for photos and also free time for a coffee and a toilet break, which was needed as our transfer was from the otherside of the island. He guided us around each part of the spectacular co-cathedral, which was very busy even in March. We then had some free time to do a quick bit of shopping and to enjoy the ambience, before the final stop at the Malta Experience.

Alles in allem eine schöne ausgewogene Tour. Leider etwas zu schnell durch den wunderbaren Dome gelaufen. Damit wir pünktlich zur Kino Vorführung kamen. Der Film ist sehr informativ und die 45 min waren damit schnell vorbei.

This walking tour was slower than expected. Despite being told good mobility was required, several participants really struggled with walking, which led to a lot of waiting around/headcounts The Malta Experience was excellent and would work better at the start of the tour. The guide was pleasant and safety-focused but quite a dry personality, and the tour ran in two languages, which further slowed things down. We would have much preferred the Malta Experience and a self-guided walk of Valleta.

Enjoyed the tour of Valletta but would have been nice to have a break so that we could get a drink. You had to be a fast walker to keep up with tour guide. Her knowledge of the cathedral was immense and found out a lot more about it than visiting on our own. We left the group at the end and had more time in Valletta to look at shops and get a drink and lunch.

Sadly there was no time built into the schedule for a comfort stop. As no food or drink (other than water) was allowed in St John’s we did not have the option. To take a packed lunch. We had very little time to either explore at John’s by ourselves, have a loo stop or grab a coffee. Seeing the Malta Exoerience straight after meant literally hours without a break. Otherwise I thoroughly enjoyed it but needed at least 30 min to eat and drink

Good tour, the guide was very knowledgeable and spoke in different languages to accommodate the group which was quite large. The weather wasn’t great so we got a bit wet which was unfortunate. The 5D show was fantastic, really worth seeing, put a lot of the tours into perspective. I would recommend it. Valletta itself is beautiful with masses of history and various styles of architecture. A good overall experience.

Great introduction, and a good way to see a bit more of Valletta than on a 'multi- location' tour, but there is so much in Valletta that you really need a few visits if you want to look around places and museums properly.

I didn’t like how the tour quide didn’t keep everyone together and did not give enough time for each stop before they carried on it seemed to be rushed the quide was very knowledgeable but sadly it was rushed and it seemed to be quite expensive for the short time that we was there

The guide was extremely informative and obviously very proud & passionate about Valletta, the city where he grew up, and Malta. The reason I scored 8 instead of 10 is because we had to wait until the end of the tour before we were given the opportunity to use a toilet, something many of us in the tour group were in need of. Valletta is a beautiful city and very well worth the visit.

The guide was informative and kept us engaged. It was chaotic on picking up at hotel and then waiting for guide. The ear pieces didn't work well in the cathedral so we heard very little about the history. The rep at the hotel told us we would have an hour free time it was only 20 mins so didn't have a chance to look at the shops etc. The gardens were crowded so couldn't take pictures of the cannon fire. We enjoyed the cinema the most. We feel it would have been better visiting on our own.

I enjoyed the trip very much.l found the Cathedral very interesting but felt that too many people were in there at one time & l was unable to appreciate it as much as l wanted to.l also think that perhaps if a oneway system was put into action it would maybe keep the flow of people moving better.

The walk through Valletta felt rushed. Information about amenities eg toilets was not given. There was a long wait to enter the Cathedral. We were unable to see the view at the gardens due to volume of tourists waiting for the midday gun salute.

Saw what we wanted to see in time frame. Best to advise about plastic water bottles only in St Paul’s (I had metal one). Fault with hearing devices in St Paul’s no time to test before church your. Ladies toilets bit of an issue time wise, Valletta itself could do with better more facilities. Tour guide excellent.

Le mini bus à l'aller n'était pas très confortable et nous sommes restés garés au moins 20 min devant un hôtel sans comprendre ce qu'il se passait. Le chauffeur était au téléphone. Le guide était trés bien et parlait français et le groupe de taille correcte. Point négatif : pas de temps prévu pour faire les boutiques de souvenirs

The tour was great and the guide very knowledgeable. To improve I would have preferred a little more free time. For example a 15 minute stop in the gardens was not enough time as by the time you’d queued for the toilets it was time to meet up again so no time to explore.

Unser Guide kam 30 Minuten zu spät und meinte dann, dass die Menge an Sehenswürdigkeiten für die geplante Zeit nicht ausreichen würde ... Also "rannte" sie durch Valetta, wer mitkam ok, wer nicht, wurde auch nicht von ihr kontrolliert. Nichtsdestotrotz konnte sie gut und interessant erzählen, wenn man in der großen Gruppe vorne gestanden ist, sonst hätte man nichts verstanden - trotz Lautsprecher. Insgesamt bei 38° und einer Riiiesenmenge an Touristen vielleicht nicht die richtige Reisezeit.

Der Abholservice war super pünktlich. Unser Tourgide war gut hat alles genau erklärt wo genau Treffpunkt ist wenn man sich von der Gruppe entfernt. Hat aber auch aufgepasst das keiner verloren geht. Als einziges die Toilettten müsste ma eher sagen. Für Kinder finde ich den Preis etwas überhöht au h wenn bis 12 Jahre ermäßigt. Aber sonst alles super. Danke Tourgide Sandra

Our guide,Jean Paul,was very goodI. t would have made the tour even better had he spoken to us during the trip on the bus to and from Valletta. There are so many interesting things that we passed it would have been nice to know about them. Other tour guides we had did this and it really helped. The exchange of people doing tours in various languages was a bit chaotic. I don't know how else it could have been managed. It was a tiring day but well worth it. NOT for people with mobility issues.

The guide was very good, informative and helpful. He always looked for a shady spot on what was a hot day. The St John co- cathedral was amazing, well worth a visit. We stayed on in Valletta after and got a bus back which was fairly easy. This wasn’t a problem. The Malta experience was informative too. The tour was as described.

Valetta is incredible, a little overwhelming, there is so much to see! Didn't think the Malta Experience at the end was necessary, it repeated alot of what the tour guide had told us. I would have preferred to have the final 45 minutes as free time to explore the City. There was little time for refreshments. Should be an all day tour. Again told half day but weren't back til 3pm. Tour Guide paid little attention to person struggling with heat, he was obviously on a tight schedule.

The bus going there was old & uncomfortable with poor air con. The guide on the bus gave no commentary on the journey or information about the Malta or the journey in general. Maria our guide in Valetta was great, informative & held our attention with plenty of information & with.

Transfern till Valletta var inte bra. Inklämda i en minibuss. Fullt till sista sätet men tre vuxna kan inte sitta normalt i bredd i minibuss. Jag kan tycka att priset var lite mycket. Guiden var suverän!

The tour was very interesting. The guide well informed. However the hotel pick up was total chaos. How nobody got left behind. This tour was definitely not for people who were not fit and able to climb steps and walk quite fast. We spent quite some time supporting a man with a walker who was getting left behind.

N'ayant plus de place libre en français, on m'a proposé une autre langue. J'ai choisi l'allemand et Anita la guide était super. Elle connaissait son sujet parfaitement et comme les bons Profs, elle arrivait par une plaisanterie à attirer l'attention quand celle ci flanchait. Je ne peux que la recommander.

Great
Valletta is a great historic place to visit, and we would not have learned so much without our guide. There were supposed to be a few pauses for us to do our own things - but they were very short 5-15 mins, so no time to do much. I would have preferred to leave out the film at the end for a bit more time between locations

Poor
The whole trip was far too rushed……it should have been a full day! We could hardly keep up with the guide…..we had much longer to wait for the cathedral than the Rep said, & didn’t get to see everything! She spoke more in French than in English, so sadly an extremely poor experience, & definitely not good value for money!
