Enjoyed the lunch, walking tour of the rain forest, the waterfalls and glad we got to do the chocolate tasting, very educational! I completely understand why we couldn't touch the plants, but would be great if a couple of sample Shampoo Plants could be set aside (in pots or whatever) for use by visitors (to squeeze out the liquid, which is great smelling and is supposed to keep off insects).

I enjoyed the whole tour and the wonderful tour guides we had along the way. The one thing I would have liked is spending more time in the rain forest to see more animals. That was magnificent! Thank you!

Nothing you can really do about the long drive and traffic, from and to our resort and where the activities occurred. Overall, we enjoyed the tour tremdously. Our guide and driver were excellent.

We had a beautiful sunny day for our excursion. It had rained for 8 days prior to our visit, so the animals were active. Henry was an awesome guide and Caleb did a fantastic job in the jungle! Only negative that I can report: we probable could have cut off the plating of the tree. It added time to our tour that ended up giving us a 7-7 off the resort experience. We had planned for 7-5:30, so that made supper reservations non existent.

Most of our tour group did not go into the waterfall or the swimming hole and we wasted a lot of time there. The water was cold and the second swim stop had few places for us to stand, This stop was a complete waste of time and should have been cut. Stopping at the grocery store was more time wasted. The sloth tour was great, but was too short and we only saw one sloth. The bus was almost two hours late returning home!!! Will not recommend this trip to anyone.

My wife and I took the Sloth Adventure tour with Jairo, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Jairo’s joy, knowledge, and genuine passion for what he does made the entire expedition exceptional from start to finish. We visited Some incredible locations and were never once uncomfortable as far as security. So much wildlife to see as well. A truly unforgettable trip

We really enjoyed learning about leaf cutter ants, sloths, and cocoa beans. The views of the rainforest were stunning. Our favorite part were the "hikes", I wish they were longer. The waterfall was beautiful. I think our least favorite part was seeing the Blue River stop, the coffee was a nice touch though. I'm glad we left the resort for the day to see this, thank you.

The driver was sometimes paying more attention to his phone than the road. At times he was driving in the middle of the road when other cars were on the road. The guide (Henry) did a good job explaining things and spotting wildlife.

Our guides were very knowledgeable and fun, and made the trip very enjoyable! The first stop at the waterfall was beautiful. The second stop at the blue river was also beautiful. However, we didn't realize how close we were to Rio Celelste Falls! When booking, if we were told that, we would have wanted to hike it!! I wished they would have mentioned that when we booked! Lunch at the restaurant was great!

The tour was the perfect way to see Costa Rica without too much intense activity. The waterfsll, rainforest, sloth adventure, and chocolate tour were great. Ooh and the Costa Rican lunch was delicious. Marvin and the driver were the perfect host. If you are looking to see Costa Rica with low impact this trip is for you.

Our group of 6 (3 adults, 3 kids 6-13) all enjoyed the tour. Our guide was knowledgeable, personable, and gave us a wonderful tour of the area. The children were very excited to see the sloths, frogs, and baby toucan especially when using the viewer. Getting close to nature is wonderful—thanks for sharing this part of Costa Rica with our family.

LOVED Austin our guide. He was kind and fun, taught us so much about the country and even offered to take pictures for us. The day was pretty long but we got a lot for our money. I think the people that book need to explain a little better all that is involved with travel.

Fantastic experience! We were curious how the excursion would be for a 3 and 5 year old but each destination was easily accessible for them and not too grueling. Food was great, saw 4 sloths and multiple other animals, overall a tremendous experience that I would recommend to those with kids or otherwise!

I only have good things to say about the tour. Our tour guide Austin was so knowledgeable about the country and all of the animals we saw. Our driver, David, was so nice even though I had to keep going back to the van because I forgot things for my kids. We were expecting it to pour rain so that didn’t ruin anything for us. We had such a wonderful time and I would recommend the tour to everyone. By the way, I have a 6 year old and a 2 and a half year old and it felt so safe.

Loved the sloth/chocolate tour experience. The waterfall was all muddy because of the rain the night before. Would have been nice to be told this could happen. The river walking was literally a small section between 2 ropes to dip in. Can't really walk due to the fast rapids above and below. A bit disappointing considering how much we paid. The lunch tasted good but very small portion. The day before, we did a different activity with far more immersion for much cheaper.

Absolutely loved this tour, was a bit worried as I’m not the fittest and it said not suitable for those with reduced mobility but it was absolutely fine; a few hilly bits but all spread out so it wasn’t too taxing. Loved the sloth walk, saw lots of them, as well as birds and frogs. Waterfall swim was great too and the cocoa plantation was interesting. Probably could have lived without the tree planting or at least the walk that went with it. Lunch was lovely.

Loved the waterfall experience but would have liked more time there. Sloth/nature walk was fantastic but again felt a bit rushed. We saw two different mother/baby sloths very clearly and moving about which was magical. The food was very good with a lovely view of the rainforest below. The chocolate tour was ok but not amazing, but still interesting to learn about the process. The only real negative is the driving distances...they are long! Can't be helped but staff are not very transparent.

Owen set us up nicely at the JW Marriott for the tour. Austin and the driver were awesome!! Lots of great information. We were all especially grateful that Austin and the driver took the time to stop twice for us to see sloths that were awake and moving. AND Austin helped each of us get great pictures and video on our phones!! Mind blowing! Lunch was also amazing. Loved the Tree Farm. Everyone was so great about including my 14 yr old son as well. Would ?? recommend this trip!

It was a lovely day despite the wet weather. We were disappointed that we did not see Sloths other than through the telescopes from a distance. The rainforest was not as spectacular as we expected; the journey through the rainforest could have been longer. The guides were very good - informative, helpful, professional and warm and they pointed out frogs, birds, snakes. The meal was delicious.

The majority of the tour is travelling on the road (75%) The guide didn’t mention pretty much anything and was sleeping for the most of the journey, not good enough. Lovely nature but the road to and from our hotel is pretty much falling apart and seems dangerous for most of the time we were travelling with 5-10 kilometres per hour and this puts us off booking any other excursions. Will not recommend travelling to and from RIU hotels at all!

Super trip, around 3 hrs travelling time each way but so worth it. Great guide at the sloth/wildlife centre. So informative, found sloths, various frogs and birds and snakes. Lunch was good. Cultural tour interactive and informative with a small shop at the end to buy cocoa products. Bus driver spotted much wildlife during our drive, toucans, howler monkeys and various smaller birds. Gave us photo opportunities too.

Getting to a see a mother sloth ?? with her baby ?? in it's natural environment was amazing. Also our guide was able to call a poison dart frog ?? by playing the sound of another male from his phone. Lunch was decent and seeing how the chocolate is grown and harvested was very educational. Be warned if you wish to purchase anything from the shop, bring plenty of cash or a card! All in all a great day out.

There was very little walking and each experience was too short. I'm also not keen on always ending tours at a gift shop! Apart from that though, it was lovely from the point of view of seeing wildlife pointed out by guides who knew where to find it and who were really informative. We were invited to name and plant a tree at one point and that has left us with a new set of worries wondering how Trevor the Tree is doing!

Not quite the day described. The walk was in a very small area just off the road and was around 4”mins. The waterfall swim was great as was lunch. The guide was good and attentive. More of 3/4 day - mostly travelling and not great value for the price

The tour guide and driver were so friendly and very informative. They gave us a thorough overview of what the day entailed and how long each activity would last. They taught us about the geography of the island and were very informative about each place we drove through. The rainforest tour guide was excellent at spotting different animals, allowing us to take photos and teaching us all about them. The food, snacks and coffee was excellent. Really impressed, we had a great time!

Driver and the guide weee superb, vehicle comfortable and air con welcomed. The trip description by TUI is a miss sell unfortunately, the hike in the jungle is actually a stroll in a garden. We only saw 3 sloths from quite a distance and 1 frog and that was as far as the wildlife went. The waterfall certainly wasn’t thundering but was still pleasant.

Everything happened on time our driver was warm & welcoming. The guide was friendly & knowledgeable. The guide we had in the rainforest was brilliant. We wouldn't have seen half the animals we'd seen without him. Lunch was really nice & fresh. At the waterfall we had fresh fruit & drinks. Everyone was so friendly.

Christian our guide was brilliant. So knowledgeable. The swimming in the Ponderosa Waterfalls was beautiful. The tour of the rainforest was great. We saw sloths! Made my day! Lunch was gorgeous. Fabulous day out.

We have done this tour before and enjoyed lunch by the river and the itinerary stated it would be by the river again but this was not the case. Also didn’t really see the point of the waterfall visit

This trip being our first we had nothing to compare it with. Whilst enjoyable and very informative it prove to be a very long way and day to see three Sloths. The guided Jungle experience proved only to be probably less than 400 metres in total. The majority of the time with the guide was taken up looking at the three Sloths (two in one tree and the other in an adjacent tree) not much time was taken looking for any further Sloths or other Creatures. The best part of the Waterfall was Kayaking. Subsequently learnt would have been better to book the Tenorio Volcano Park Trek for Sloth and other wild life.

The guides were great, very informative. Waterfall swim kayaking good. However, the title and description of the excursion is misleading. SLOTH ADVENTURE TOUR... searching in the jungle to spot sloths isn't what the trip entailed. We were taken to what seemed like a nature trail in private gardens. We did see one sloth and looked at other animals such as birds, frogs, monkeys. But it almost felt as if they could have been introduced to that setting. We were very disappointed as it definitely wasn't a walk in the jungle searching for sloths. It was a nice day but mis advertised and the name of tour should be changed. It was first trip I booked on app before we travelled and I was really excited for it. So overall a nice day but not what we were expecting.

Guide was excellent very informative waterfall experience was great abd guide at sloth encounter was great and saw lots of sloths and other animals. They provide towels st the waterfall so do not need to bring. Lunch was lovely good food

Very relaxing day,we had lovely swim in La Perla waterfall...followed by interesting sloth adventure,saw frogs,beautiful plants,guide was very experienced. We had traditional lunch by Tenorio volcano.Recomending this tour to everyone
