The rustic whitewashed villages dotted around the Andalusian sierra are some of the most enchanting places to visit, especially when there's a special event happening. Ana, one of our expert local guides, says "Ronda steps back in time to 1509, and the town is transformed into a stage. See parades featuring locals dressed up in period costumes to represent 'Damas Goyescas,' 'Arrieros' and 'Bandoleros,' traditional figures from Ronda's history. There's lots of music and merriment, too."This tour takes you deep into the mountains to explore the precariously perched town of Ronda in fiesta mode, and also get to know the village of Setenil de las Bodegas. In Ronda, as well as watching the special events, you'll have free time to browse the markets, visit the Mondragon Palace, the Church of Santa Maria la Mayor or the Palace of St John Bosco, which affords incredible views over the bridge.Soak up its traditional ‘pueblo blanco' charm as you wander along medieval streets and cross the famous bridge 100 metres above the gorge. Afterwards, continue through the valley to the final stop at the village of Setenil de las Bodegas. This picturesque town is known for its unique architecture, where some of its houses are built directly into the surrounding cliffs. The narrow and winding streets meander among the rock formations, creating a charming atmosphere. You enjoy some more free time before returning to your hotel.

Leuk dorpje Sentinel. Treintje leuk. Ronda prachtige stad. Wij hadden echter verwacht dat wij een tour door de stad zouden maken met de reisleider. Wij werden afgezet met de woorden: op tijd terug zijn en ik zit in dat restaurant. Hadden we ook zelf met de auto naar de stad kunnen rijden. Iedere deelnemer werd bij het hotel opgehaald en afgezet. Wij moesten weer een een kwartier lopen naar ons hotel Puerto Marina. Waarom? De bus kan daar toch ook komen bij ophalen .

Picked up on time and headed out to Setenil. after an hour on the coach we stopped at a cafe for a 30 minute driver rest! Continued on and stopped at Setenil for 45 minutes before going on to Ronda. Due to the time already taken we had about 2 hours in Ronda before heading back to the coach. There is so much to see and do in Ronda especially on the romantic weekend we feel that just over 2 hours wasnt enough, it would have been nice to have a meal there too but didnt want to waste time eating.

Enjoyed the whole experience. Thought the stop at Sentenil was an added bonus. We very much enjoyed that.Ronda was a trip we thought off doing several times but thought it maybe to far away for trying to sort transport but doing the tour made it a pleasurable day out. The tour guide was attentive to important details she felt would be off interest to the passengers. Overall there was’nt anything we did’nt enjoy and found the day to be a lovely experience on our holidays.

Bei einem Ausflug nach Ronda hätte das Gros der Besichtigungszeit auf Ronda entfallen müssen. Leider war das nicht der Fall. Für ein wirkliches Kennenlernen von Ronda hätten wir wenigstens 1 - 2 h mehr Zeit benötigt. Die hätten auch zur Verfügung gestanden bei einer um 1 - 2 h späteren Abfahrtszeit in Ronda. Für meinen Mann und mich war diese künstlich herbeigeführte Zeitnot enttäuschend. Unter diesen Umständen können wir diesen Ronda-Trip nicht weiterempfehlen.

Total waste of money more time spent on the bus than visiting Ronda went for the festival but had no time to see if free time 2 hours 20 minutes to the town and 20 minutes back lunch and no time to see any thing 12 people on our trip complained we all ask for a refund but have been offered a voucher. Worst trip I ever been on. Miss sold this trip thought we were going to see the festival not sit on a bus for 5 hours.. refund would be nice not the voucher we have been offered.

Het was een dagtrip maar we hadden van 13.00 tot 15.00 uur de tijd om in Ronda te wandelen. Dat vonden we veel te kort zeker als je ook nog wat wilde eten. Daarvoor zijn we eerder te lang in Sentenil geweest.

I didn't think the visit to Seneti was worthwhile. It took 2 hrs just to get there for a 1 hour stay. When we got to Ronda, by the time we'd eaten there was little time to explore before we had to be back on the coach. Given it was a festival in Ronda, I think we should have gone straight there to experience the celebrations with time then to explore the city

Très belle excursion, guide au top. Le négatif est la durée bien trop courte à Ronda qui est magnifique mais impossible de profiter en même pas 2h sans compter qu il fallait manger et prévoir la marche pour retourner au car ce qui est compliqué pour les personnes âgées. Autant d heures de car que sur place, dommage

Die Fahrt war interessant. Der Weg durch den Ort wäre bestimmt spannend gewesen - leider starker Dauerregen. RONDA mit der Brücke imposant - auch hier leider starker Dauerregen und Sturm, so dass wir schnell ein Bistro aufsuchen mussten. Der Guide war sehr gut - Erklärungen auf deutsch vielleicht erweitern. Da ich auch englich kann habe mehr als meine Freundin erfahren. Insgesamt war der Ausflug ein Erlebnis.

Enjoyed the interesting commentary from guide Jose, nice comfortable coach, safe professional driving from Bernardo. Right amount of time in both Setenil and Ronda, instructions when and where to rejoin coach were clear. A lovely day out thank you ??

The weather was very good for this trip. The coach driver was excellent and the tour guide too. It was a bit squashed on the little train at Setemil but apart from that, and unfortunately there was a traffic hold-up on the return journey, very satisfied.

Der Ausflug war ein gelungener Tag. Ich hätte mir ein wenig mehr Zeit für Ronda gewünscht, allerdings ist dies sicherlich durch die relativ weite Busrückreise schlecht zu verwirklichen. Uns hat dieser Ausflug sehr gut gefallen.

Just Ronda on its own in my opinion. Beautiful town with a lot of history. Two hours in Ronda not really enough. Setenil is not for me, hate that cramp train ride into the hilly top for views.

Although our first stop- off at Sentinel de Bodegas was enjoyable we would have preferred to spend more time in Ronda, a place we have wanted to visit for a very long time. The guide Jose was informative and knowledgeable. The coach driver, Bernardo, was fantastic, driving along the mountain roads with the tight bends, was superb!

The guide wasn't accommodating as we book a front seat due to mobility and travel sickness and he wouldn't let us sit at the front he said that's my seat you will have to sit where ever is left which was very near the back

Fantastic guide , Hans, who made the day really enjoyable. Beautiful mountain scenery . Sentenil was a gem of a town, really quirky and very interesting . Ronda was truly amazing , one of the most beautiful, peaceful places I’ve visited. Worth paying to go into Casa de don Bosco in the old town for views and a lovely cafe. Only a few Euros. The trip could have been enhanced only by giving us more time in Ronda as 2hours flew by.

De reisleiding was goed en duidelijk. Alleen de tijd die je kond rondbrengen in Ronda was tekort. Bovendien het autoverkeer droeg tot een onveilig gevoel bij. Niet de schuld van de reisleider.

De prijs/kwaliteit van de dagtour was prima. Hans was een enthousiaste en kundige reisleider en Miguel een prima chauffeur. Sentenil de la Bodega is de moeite van het bezoeken waard. In Ronda zijn we niet verder gekomen dan de stierenarena. Tijd voor meer was er niet. De service was prima. Voor de deur werden we afgezet. Samengevat: een fijne dag...

Gerne etwas mehr Zeit in Setenil und einen Hinweis auf weitere Highlights, die neben den Felsenbauten den Ort so sehenswert machen. Die Organisierte Fahrt mit der Minibahn ist eine sehr gute Idee, so konnten alle Gäste die Aussicht geniessen, egal ob gut oder weniger gut zu Fuss oder mit einem Handicap.

Guide was pleasant and knowledgeable, Setenil and Ronda definitely worth visiting. Bus driver excellent. After our early start in Fuengirola it took a full hour to pick up more people before we could start out trip to Setenil. And though the trip was to be in English, the guide had to repeat all in German . So the commentary was continuous which made the experience somewhat tiresome. This is not a criticism of the guide.

The tour is too much in one day. The Ronda experience was great but too short. It would benefit to not do the sentenil aspect and give that time to the Ronda part of the tour. The guide Jose was good but we had rude passengers who were talking over his commentary when it wasn’t their language so he should remind them of that issue as Hans our previous guide did.

La visite de Setenil nous paraît inutile, il serait plus agréable de passer plus de temps dans cette magnifique ville de Ronda, que nous avons dû parcourir trop rapidement. Le trajet de car pour Ronda est déjà suffisamment long. Merci au guide José!

La communication est très **********. Les horaires sont très bien respectes. Le guide est super; très expérimenté, très grande culture générale, très bonnes explications. Le chauffeur est excellent, il conduit très bien et il est ponctuel.

Had a great time in Ronda there was a festival on and it was great to see everyone dressed up. Also seen some dancing and the horse riders . Ronda is a beautiful place to visit with lovely shops and restaurants. The guide we had made the trip with his stories and made the bus journey go very quickly

Manque de guides lors des excursions Séville et Ronda ********** de temps libre presque 5heures à Séville; Pas de visite guidée de la cathédrale. Pas de repas le midi compte tenu du prix des sorties (seulement un panier repas suffirait) Les personnes à l'accueil très sympathiques et à l'écoute des vacanciers surtout au point de vue des chambres

The guide was great, Ronda was beautiful, the little town Starting with S was pointless you get 1 hr there took 30 mins to walk to the centre and back to the coach prefer to stay in Ronda longer

Honda en soi est une très belle ville et serait une très belle excursion. Si elle respectait ses engagements. En effet, même si elle a été modifiée en raison des fêtes de la feria. Il est écrit sur le descriptif vous arriverez à Ronda, vous ferez une promenade guidée autour du centre médiéval. Chose qu’on n’a pas eu, puisque notre guide nous a dépoté. à Ronda dans la rue principal vous allez à l’office de tourisme ils vont vous donner une feuille et puis après débrouillée vous !!

Was not advised wed have to walk so much just to teach event/destination. Probably would not have booked if we had. 1st place was lovely but was told to move on by police as nothing happening in the square. This was wrong and we missed it. 2nd place intriguing but a long walk.
