For three decades the checkpoint into the northern part of Cyprus remained closed to visitors – but now you can enjoy a day trip from Paphos and Limassol. You'll pass by the Venetian walls of Nicosia, on to Kyrenia to see a famous shipwreck and enjoy some free time at its historic harbour, before ending the day at the Bellapais Abbey. Leaving Paphos behind, you'll travel towards the Ayios Dometios checkpoint, pausing for a quick coffee en route. Once we're across the bufferzone into the northern part of Cyprus, you'll witness traditional scenes. Your guide will bring its 800-year history to life with a tour around the grounds and you'll be captivated by the views plunging down to Kyrenia, which is our next stop. Here, you'll have free time to explore the seaside town as well as the shipwreck museum. From here, you'll travel through bucolic countryside, winding through the Pentadakytlos Mountains to reach the Bellapais Abbey, before returning south.

Please note, single parent families or those travelling without both parents need to provide extra documentation for anyone under the age of 18 when travelling into the north of Cyprus. This includes a 'letter of authorisation' from the missing parent, as well as supporting documents including birth certificate of the child, passport copy of the missing parent or a copy of a court order. Templates of these letters are readily available on search engines however we recommend you consult a lawyer prior to travelling on holiday

Zabytki super, transport ok. Org. zwiedzania i oprowadzanie – dwója. Lepiej bylo wynajac sam transport i zabrac ze soba mapki, ulotki i sciagnac info z internetu. Przewodnik cypryjski zachowywal sie jakby byl tu za kare. Strofowal tlumaczke i grupe, której nie mial wiele do powiedzenia. Byly komentarze: z Tui nigdy wiecej na wycieczke fakult. i nalezy sie zwrot czesci kasy za te. Brak czasu w Nikozji, ale zmarnowano go w trasie, obok stanowiska neolitycznego o którym nie powiedzieli ani slowa.

To byla wycieczka bez przewodnika. Polska opiekunka, mila osoba, która miala tlumaczyc cypryjskiego przewodnika, niestety nie miala co, poniewaz przewodnik nie mial nic do powiedzenia ani w autokarze, ani na miejscu. Do tego niepotrzebny postój na kawe po godzinie jazdy, a brak czasu na zwiedzanie (15') w opactwie Bellpais i w Nikozji (spacer biegiem). Bylam na tej wycieczce z TUI 3 lata temu z profesjonalna polska pilotka i mam porównanie. Trasa piekna, ale merytorycznie i organizacyjnie dno.

Cypryjski przewodnik bardzo slabe przygotowanie merytoryczne,dostarczyl bardzo malo informacji na temat glównych obiektów.Jego wyglad pozostawial duzo do zyczenia(brudny plecak,wlosy,zaniedbany wyglad).. Pani Joanna bardzo mila i godna polecenia przewodniczka. W sobote bylismy na wycieczce z Cypryjska przewodniczka i bylo bardzo fajnie i rzeczowo.Duzo informacji na temat historycznych obiektów oraz na temat codziennego zycia na Cyprze.Z powazaniem Marek Rogon i Slawomir Terebinski

Czas w Nikozji skrajnie krótki, nam udalo sie zjesc posilek ale kosztem zwiedzania. Nastepnie w zasadzie truchtem do autobusu. Bardzo slabo ta wycieczka zostala zaprojektowana i napewno nie byla warta swojej ceny.
