The islands of Paxos and Antipaxos may be small but their beauty is big and bold. You'll sail over from Parga to get to know these Ionian gems on this full day cruise. There'll be sea grottoes, a visit to a charming seaside town and coastal views by the bucket-load.Leaving the port of Parga, we'll set sail onboard the Captain Hook into the open seas towards Antipaxos. It's the smaller of the two islands – it has just 120 residents – and its long stretches of white sand and Caribbean feel make it feel like it's one in a dozen. After some relaxing on deck and swimming, we'll hit the seas once more along the west coast, famous for the Blue Caves.Grab the chance to swim inside one of these atmospheric sea grottoes before heading to Gaios, the capital Paxos. With its Venetian-style mansions facing the islet of St Nicholas, it's a charmer. You'll have free time to roam around its narrow lanes or have lunch overlooking the boats before returning to Parga.

The tour was great but getting from the hotel to the jetty for the tour was difficult. We tried to book a taxi the evening before to run us around but the staff said we couldn’t until the morning. In the morning the taxi’s were all booked. On walking past the Valtos beach jetty there was a water taxi laid on specifically for the boat trips before the main service started. All good in the end but it would be great to know what is available.

Wij waren 3de week van september en op een maandag. Het is een leuke excursie met lekker zwemmen. Het was gewoon heerlijk en je krijgt om en nabij 2 a 2,5 uur de tijd op Paxos. Alles netjes, dus zeker een aanrader. Het was ook zeker niet druk op de boot, genoeg zitruimte ect. Je kunt ook ter plekke beslissen of je wilt gaan.

The trip itself was great. The places visited were beautiful. As English people were a minority the instructions given were not given in English so we had no idea what the instructions were at each stop. The only one we did get was in paxos we had to be back at the boat for 4.45pm.

Het was een prachtige ervaring. Enig minpuntje is de hoeveelheid mensen die meedoen aan zo’n excursie. Iedereen wil eerst en vooraan staan etc etc. Verder vonden wij het fantastisch georganiseerd.

Relaxing day, loved being at sea. Island stop was a surprise. Beautiful location. Shops a little more expensive than same items in Parga but they are playing to a huge tourist trade with all the visitors. In trying to be an upmarket harbour destination.

It’s great for proper that like lots of relaxing boat time, swim time and left-to-explore time…not so great for people that like a more informative/narrative experience. The boat is feet, crew are friendly, snacks and drinks good and very reasonable, and the destinations are simply lovely. It would nice to offer guests staying further away the option of a transfer to and from the boat.

Lovely big boat, plenty of seats and wasnt overcrowded. Very comfortable for a boat actually, was quite impressed. Good swimming stops and the time in Paxos was long enough for a leisurely lunch. Good times as well, didnt set off too early. Very good day out and well worth the cost

Chose right trip, other had more swim stops (which are off the boat BTW) but this one gave you more time on Paxos to explore its pretty capital & have lunch.

De boottocht was mooi een kleine opmerking naar tui wij kregen in de reminder een andere tijd door nl 1200 ipv 10.00 na navraag was het toch 10.00 dit is een jaar geleden ook al een keer voorgekomen toch jammer want als je geen navraag doet kom je dus bij een lege steiger aan

De trip duurde 8 uur lang, dit was voor mij en mijn vriend veel te lang.. je werd afgezet bij de haven en kon daar 3 uur vertoeven, dit was ook echt veel en veel te lang.

We reached the expected sites that were amazing. The boat was tight and crowded and partly not shaded and during August trip we were exposed during the long trip to the direct sun, I would recommend to the Captain Hook to add some shade also for the external parts of the boat.

Highly recommend Captain Hook’s Boat Trip. The boat ride is smooth and the crew are attentive to your needs. They give you plenty of time to swim in clear turquoise blue water around Antipaxos as well as to explore the island of Paxos for three hours. Great value for the money!

De zwemstops waren erg leuk. De boot was erg vol hierdoor kon je niet heel relaxed zitten dit was erg jammer, je zat echt tegen elkaar aan. Verder vond ik de stop in de stad aan de lange kant. De zwemstops waren erg leuk!

Although info was given about the actual islands, it would have been more information of other details had been pointed out. Regarding safety and security, no info was given re location of lifebelts etc However, we really enjoyed the stop at Gaios on Paxos.

Staff are exceptional onboard, islands we visited were absolutely beautiful. Booked in resort for my Birthday with the rep and he was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Absolutely would definitely recommend to anyone else visiting the area. Swim stops also well organised and safety of paramount importance to the boats crew

A great day out. The weather on our trip was sunny but windy and the boat rocked which made quite a few people sea sick. The staff were very good at taking care of them. The little isalnd of Anti Paxos was a stop for people to swim. The larger Paxos was where there was a nice town to walk around and have lunch, not included in the price.

The area around the islands gets very windy and as such we were told before boarding we would not be visiting the Blue Caves as it is unsafe to sail near them in those conditions. I am not sure how many trips actually get to that part of the tour given this is a daily feature and might be worth checking for the description of the tour. We were disappointed. Also not very clear what happens when the boat stops at Antipaxos, we assumed a beach stop but it isn't and swimming is off the boat.

Spacious and clean boat, good mix of music to sing or tap your foot too. Dolphins were sighted towards the end of the trip as we were coming back into harbour and the captain turned around and headed in the direction of the dolphins so that we could all see them. He didn't have to do that after a long 8 hour day. It was a full day tour and a thoroughly enjoyable experience. I highly recommend them.

Het was jammer dat de Tui begeleider in het hotel de verkeerde aanvangstijd had doorgegeven. (12 uur moest 10 uur zijn). Gelukkig zijn we hier zelf op tijd achtergekomen! Erg slordig!!! Excursie op zich was goed. Niets op aan te merken.

Leuke excursie. Alleen waren we een beetje in de war met het programma. De volgorde (anti-Paxos, zwemmen, blue caves en dan Paxos) was net iets anders dan onze TUI host vertelde. Maar anders dan dat was het een leuke excursie.

Fijne zwemsstops en paxos is superleuk om te stoppen, programma is heel relaxed. Heel leuk voor kinderen (maar wel met zwemdiploma, snorkelen ook heel leuk) Verbetering: info vooraf over de vertrektijd was niet duidelijk en volgde pas kort vantevoren. En wellicht een iets gedetailleerder overzicht over de opbouw vh programma. Hoorde dat veel mensen niet wisten hoe de dag er eigenlijk uit zou zien. Er werd ook niets omgeroepen aan boord oid.

Excellent boat trip 10am to approx 5.30pm with a swimming stop first at Antipaxos then cruise to the caves followed by a 3hr stop at Paxos to wander, eat, drink and then cruise back to Parga. Excellent value for money would totally recommend.

I enjoyed this trip because there were two opportunities to go swimming in caves. The scenery was lovely, there was a chance to visit another area, time to have lunch and a look around. I booked on the app which didn’t say what time the boat was leaving, luckily we knew this as we had already discussed it with the rep, we would have booked with the rep but she wasn’t able to accept cash and I didn’t have my card with me. We were also told to take our passports? which were never asked for.

Gave a 7 for safety, as whilst everything was fine, I felt a short guide to where life vests were kept, similar to what is given on a plane. Very reasonably priced drinks/snacks on board. Good mix of music. Paxos was a delight

Good chance to be out on the beautiful sea and if a swimmer, swim in some turquoise water and blue caves. Boat very busy. No guide to tell you about anything. Good bar for a boat trip.

Boot wel erg groot en veel mensen aan boord. Het idyllische gevoel van zwemmen in een prachtige baai gaat er wel af als je in de rij moet om te water te kunnen gaan en met 80 man aan het zwemmen bent. Jammer. Bemanning overigens erg aardig en behulpzaam. De tour is prachtig. Maar helaas erg toeristisch. Komt op op beide eilanden tegelijk aan met veel toeristen boten, ze komen nml ook vanuit Corfu.

The trip was absolutely stunning . The bar was reasonably priced too. The down side was lack of information from the staff about the places we visited. The floor was very slippy and a couple of people fell quite heavily. Having said that it was totally amazing and worthwhile.
