Excellent

Really great trip, with all the photo stops really adding to the experience. In Mostar i don’t think the mosque and house visit are necessary and think most would have preferred to have longer free time. I think the local guide was excellent giving the history of the area, I think it would be enough to give that information and walk through the town, if anything I think the museum would have been a more interesting stop.

Great

Great guide and tour around Mostar. Heavy rain hindered the start of the tour. This meant there was very limited free time. In line with other reviews the stop after Mostar seemed pointless and would have preferred more time at Mostar. The guide on the bus was very knowledgable but gave mixed messages. Fill the green form in, don’t fill it in, then driver said fill it in. The driver said you can’t eat on the bus then guide said when you eat on the bus. !!! Poor communication and grumpy driver !

Bosnia and it's people are lovely, and we really enjoyed visiting. They have embraced their history and are proud of what theyve rebuilt. Now a fan of Bosnian coffee!

Great

The trip was enjoyable. However we had only 3 hours in Mostar and 1.5 hours was a guided tour which was very interesting but didn't leave that much free time afterwards to both have lunch and a good look around Mostar. A little more time there would have made it a more relaxing experience.

I am glad I saw a bit of Bosnia though Mostar was slightly spoiled by the advice by the guides re pickpockets I think it was a little overdone made us feel initially quite unsafe until we got there an realised it’s no worse than any touristy place.

We were told we would be picked up from our hotel when we booked it only to find out that we had to make our way to dubrovnik for 7am. We had booked the Dubrovnik by night the night before and didn't get back until 0030 so it was a rush. Waited ages for our bus then had to wait for over an hour for other guests who hadn't been picked up. Day felt rushed as a result of this. Would've liked longer to explore in Mostar but had less than an hour with a walk back up the very slippery bridge

Loved seeing a new country, beautiful journey although very long, both coach and Mostar guides were informative, fun and professional. Long drive until first break. Border control very slow on outward journey

Ivica, our guide on the coach was excellent and in particular the local guide in Mostar, Elma, was first class and we could have listened to her all afternoon.

Well worth the visit and coach travel. We were picked up fairly near the beginning at 8.00am and dropped off last at 6.45pm so pretty much as advised. Mostar is a town worth experiencing and we would recommend this tour. Disappointing that a 15 year old counts as an adult in terms of cost.

Great

The reps and coach driver were first class. The trip overall was good. However we felt lied to. Told the trip would take 8hrs, it was over 12 and this was without problems at the boarder. You need to make people aware of the actual realistic time. People make evening plans. We just about made dinner as our hotel restaurant closes at 9. No pick up at hotel even though the 4 of us were the only ones at the location from the same hotel. Last dropped off deove by our hotel to drop others first

Well organised tour. It is a long trip to Mostar but it is worth it. Break stops in good places and nice free time in Mostar. Pleasant surprise to see and cross the Peljesac bridge on return to Croatia.

Great

Enjoyable and interesting experience. Both guides were great, very knowledgeable and organised. Mostar was fascinating, we enjoyed the visit to the Ottoman house and just walking through the old town with the bazaar. The village on the return journey was pretty but thee wasn’t enough time to fully explore it which was a shame. Over all an enjoyable and interesting trip.

Great

I can't fault the sights, the guide or the itinerary but everyone should be aware in advance of long and tedious delays at the border, about three hours for the whole trip. As there was almost nobody else waiting an hour and a half to process a coach full of tourists was excessive. Not the fault of the tour operator but fair warning should be given. We enjoyed the stop on the way back too, to the Ottoman village.

The guides were both so informative there was nothing about the trip I would have changed, the street craft shops were unique and so well crafted and the locals were also very friendly, this is must do on everyone’s bucket list

Great excursion but after arriving at Mostar we only had 3 hours there, 3-1/2 hours travelling to Mostar and 3-1/2 hours back to Cavtat. Also time wasted at border control and service station stops. The trip advertised was 8 hours but in total it was a 12 hour trip.

Excellent

Trip was generally excellent. Guide was very knowledgeable on the coach. The tour guide in Mostar was very good with a great sense of humour. Mostar was a beautiful place and the only downside was the 3 hours there flew by so while we were able to get lunch we were very rushed. An extra hour would have helped but it would have made it a very long day for the guide and driver. Could have done without the additional stop at the mediaeval village so perhaps an option to miss that.

Great

The courier was excellent, providing a lot of information and was clearly very knowledgeable. However, the coach travel part of the excursion was much longer than expected and also we had to wait an hour and twenty minutes at the Bosnian border. This should have been advised to us before booking.

Mostar history particularly around the war years was very enlightening Mostar old town is a very attractive city but is very busy and too commercialised for our likeing and the journey from Kolocept island is just too far for a day trip made much longer by all the pick ups in Dubrovnik and the long delays at the Bosnian border crossing

Excellent

Mostar old town is a beautiful place, vibrant, full of life. Shops lovely and the copper jewellry is wonderful. Lots of places to eat, although you might not have time for much more than an ice-cream. Amazing to watch the divers plunge off "Father Bridge" - and those plucking up the courage on the learner platform. Exploring in the outer streets brings home what damage the war had wreaked, machine gun bullet holes and shell holes visible. It is a long time in the bus to get there.

The tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. The guide, Ali, in Mostar was outstanding! His knowledge of the area and stories were great. The Turkish House was also great. Only things we would change is that we needed more time there - maybe mid or the little village on the way back and have more time in Mostar please. After our walking tour we only had time to eat so no exploring on our own. Also you should advise your guests to wear sturdy footwear, with good grip.

Great

We thought Mostar was a beautiful place and the guide was really good and knew his history, he was so informative. The bus journey was not as expected, the driver was not driving like he should have been with a coach full of people, the aircon stopped working, he did try to get it fixed but to no avail. The guide on the tour was very informative but had a bad time at the boarder control. He was a lovely man who just had a bad day.

Mostar was a great destination and the local guide, Al, did a fantastic job. The coach travel was awful & not up to usual Tui standards. The air conditioning was broken and there were no windows that could be opened, leading to an incredibly uncomfortable and frankly unsafe environment - it was much cooler off the bus than on. Also, the guide failed to count the passports after we crossed the boarder, meaning that we had to turn back to retrieve the missing ones - didn't inspire confidence.

Great

Great opportunity to visit Bosnia and Mostar, a country I'd never have gone to otherwise. Tour leader was great, as was our guide in Mostar itself. It was an extremely long trip however (12+ hours), in part due to long waits at the border between Croatia and Bosnia: outbound were waiting around an hour, and return around 45 minutes. This was not explained by the guide and later shrugged off as part of everyday, but this was not obvious to begin with.

Great

The day was great although quite a lot of time in the coach. The second stop was pointless. Having travelled all that time more of an opportunity to explore Mostar would be much better. By the time we had finished the tour we had 90mins which wasnt enough to explore and have lunch/drink. The morning and afternoon coffee stops on route was great. The driver and guide were great.
