On this trip, you'll discover the best of the Aeolian Islands. This cluster of picturesque isles off Sicily's northeast coast is a UNESCO World Heritage Sire. You'll visit the waterfront buildings of Lipari before sailing to Vulcano, famed for its black-sand beaches and smoking peaks.Departing from Milazzo, we set off early, so you can watch the sunrise en route to Lipari, the largest of the islands. As one of the oldest settlements in Europe, there's plenty to explore here. Your guide will give you all the history as he tours you round the landmarks and monuments. Afterwards, you'll have time to stop for an espresso or rummage the souvenir shops for rosaries and ornaments.Gliding over to the island of Vulcano, its volcanic origins are clear to see – you'll soon spot fumes spouting from its crater. Find a spot for yourself on the black sand beach, spread out your towel here and enjoy a few hours topping up your tan before boarding the boat back.

Tolles Angebot. Leider war das ausgelobte Schlammbaden auf Volcano nicht möglich wegen des hohen Säuregehaltes im Schlamm. Das Verbot galt seit Juni 2024. Hier könnte man aktuellere Hinweise geben. Der Reiseleiter Fabio war klasse. Viele Infos, sehr zugewandt.

Es war zu heiß. Mit fehlte ein Highlight auf Lipari. Man wusste gar nicht was man so recht dort machen soll. Es war recht langweilig dort. Auf Vulkano war das Schwefelbecken leider gesperrt, dadurch fehlte mir dort ebenfalls das Erlebnis. Allerdings war es landschaftlich dort sehr attraktiv. Bei der abschließenden Bootstour hätte ich mir gewünscht Richtung Stromboli zu fahren. Das hätte ich spannender gefunden als um Vulcano zu fahren und wäre ein Highlight gewesen.

Guuden vi havde med på turen var virkelig behalige og god til at fortælle undervejs. Hun var især også god til at involvere børnene undervejs mens huns fortalte.

Lipari-saarella olisi tarvittu lisää aikaa. Muuten hyvä. Osaan kohtuudella englantia. Ihmettelen miten ne suomalaiset pärjää jos eivät osaa englantia.

Dommage que pour les francophones il n'avait pas de traduction. Super pour Lipari et volcano les guides on fait un effort pour nous faire comprendre un max ils ne nous ont pas laissé de côté mais pour siracuse pas du tout pareil très belle visite mais on a rien compris et la guide n'a pas fait l'effort d'essayer de nous faire comprendre même pour les hrs et les points de Rdv. Mais dans l'ensemble nous avons fait de belles excursions

Lange Fahrt bis zum Hafen (mehrere Hotels angefahren) Keine Segeltour zwischen den Inseln. Schwefelbad auf Vulcano gesperrt. Nur teilweise empfehlenswert.

The trip as a whole was a lovely day out. My only issue was the mud bath in the excursion description. It’s not open any more and looks like it’s been the case for quite some time. Maybe the trip description needs updating to not include the mud baths.

Die Überfahrt mit dem Boot war sehr schön, Lipari sehr schön um zu bummeln und die Kathedrale anzuschauen, der Blick von dort oben ist traumhaft. Auf Vulkano haben wir nochmal eine kleine Bustour gemacht und haben viele schöne Ausblicke erhalten. Der Guide war sehr freundlich und informativ.
