Dieser Halbtagesausflug lässt Sie die Stadt Kos ganz auf eigene Faust entdecken. Als Inselhauptstadt bietet Kos viel zu sehen und zu erkunden. Sie werden von Ihrem Hotel abgeholt und im Stadtzentrum abgesetzt. Hier steht Ihnen die Zeit für eigene Unternehmungen zur freien Verfügung.Viele Gäste machen einen Abstecher zum Hafen, der mit Cafés und Tavernen gesäumt ist und damit eine wunderbaren Kulisse bietet, um die Atmosphäre der Stadt auf sich wirken zu lassen, während man ein paar Meze verkostet. Am Ende des Hafens befindet sich die Festung, die im 14. Jahrhundert von den Johannitern erbaut wurde. Ansonsten finden sich in der Stadt auch die römischen Bäder, das Oldeon und die antike Agora sowie der vor Geschäften und Bars nur so strotzende Eleftherias-Platz.Das erst kürzlich renovierte archäologische Museum beherbergt klassische Überreste wie Skulpturen und Mosaike. Und die Hippokrates-Platane bietet die perfekte Stelle für ein Selfie. Und es gibt auch einen Kiesstrand - ein idealer Ort zum Entspannen nach so viel Sightseeing. Der Rücktransfer erfolgt um 13:30 Uhr.

Half day in Kos Town is plenty for us, the coach journey along the beaches is beautiful but the confusion in which coach to get as we were not given a coach number and one of the drivers wasn't helpful.

Buchung über TUI Mitarbeiter Vorort im Hotel. Gut, schnell & unkompliziert. Preis passt. Hin und Rückfahrt war sicher und bequem. Die Busfahrer sind nett. Würden die Tour Stadt Kos so wieder buchen und weiterempfehlen.

Da es sich letztendlich lediglich um den Transfer handelt war alles super. Wie jeder den Ort für sich nutzt ist nicht zu beeinflussen uns hat es zumindest sehr gut gefallen.

We were given no information about Kos just left at the harbour and told to be back for1.30 . You could at least provide a small map of the town to help people find their way around especially if ,like my partner , you find it difficult to walk uphill and distance in a hurry.

Kos is gezellig en heel veel winkeltjes. Alleen stond in de mail dat we codes zouden krijgen voor de pop guide. Die hebben we nooit ontvangen. Na contact met tui kregen we pas om 12.00 u melding om het e-********** door te geven. Om 13.30 werden we terug verwacht aan de bus. We hebben dus kos zelf moeten verkennen en zijn daardoor wat tijd verloren. De transfers waren wel tip top in orde

Gem. Schreiben sollte man einen Zugang zu einer App mit Straßenkarte usw bekommen. Die fehlte leider. Reiseleitung gab es nicht. Der Bus Fahrer hat uns Tipps gegeben wie man am besten in die Stadt kommt und wann die Abfahrt ist

Kos Town has plenty to see and do! It was worth going for the few hours and we would recommend it to others. However, the bus driver should be well informed of the pick up information, he basically didn’t know the time, location bus number which made several of us concerned. We were dropped in a foreign town with no confidence if we would get back to the hotel or not.

Busfahrer war top, den Daumen nach unten gibt es, weil ich für die APP Pop Guide keine Zugangsdaten erhalten habe. Außerdem war der Herr TUI im Hotel bei einer Nachfrage für den Halbtagesausflug nach Kos, alles andere als freundlich.

Es geht hier um einen reinen Transfer vom Hotel zur Stadt und zurück. 7.45 Uhr wurden wir abgeholt vom Hotel und zurück waren wir um 15 Uhr. Die Zeit zum bummeln in Kos-Stadt ist ca. 3 bis 4 Stunden.

Die Zeit (etwa 3,5 h) reicht vollkommen für ein bisschen Sightseeing und Souvenir Shopping. Mit Kleinkind hatten wir uns für Tour bei Tag entschieden, bei Nacht wirkt das Ganze bestimmt nochmal anders, wobei wir sehr schöne Eindrücke gesammelt haben. Der Preis ist für "nur" die Busfahrt gerade noch OK.

Der Reiseleiter vor Ort hat uns nicht mitgeteilt, dass wir nach unserem Hotel noch Gäste von unzähligen anderen Hotels aufgabeln müssen. So dauerte die Fahrt von 30 Minuten mehr als doppelt ao lange. Mit zwei kleinen Kindern schwierig. Haben von vielen anderen gehört, dass man besser den öffentlichen Bus wählen soll...

Need our money back! Neither the TUI App or TUI staff informed us that all the historical sites will be closed on Tuesdays. While we walked around the town and had lunch, we were unable to see any of the historical sites in Kos Town. We need a refund!! Please include clear information for guests in TUI App and through TUI staff that on Tuesdays all sites will be closed! Feel cheated by TUI.

Coach driver dropping us off was vague about the info for returning coach, 1.10 / 1.30 no details of coach number just the area to be, all turned out fine. 1 hour 15 minute return trip on booking he suggested 40 minute journey vs doing your own thing which would take over the hour. Small details Kos town was lovely and glad we did this trip.

Am besten man fährt mit dem Bus ein Taxi zu bekommen dauert sehr lange.....Ein Tipp von mir im Hotel bei den TUi Mitarbeiter vor Ort eine Busreise nach Kos zu buchen....kostet zwar ein bißchen mehr...aber es ist bis ins kleinste Detail durch organisiert...war mit TUI ein schöner Tag.

Je suis ravie de cet endroit, j'ai passé dix jours très agréables, tout est parfait, l'hôtel en général, les espaces arborés, l'entretien des jardins, ma chambre spacieuse et accueillante tout confort : air conditionné, propreté, décoration, grande chambre etc... Le personnel très aimable partout, la nourriture parfaite, tout était impeccable. Bus war pünktlich am Hotel, lediglich bei der Rückfahrt war es schwierig, den richtigen Bus zu finden. Es standen dort viele TUI Busse mit unterschiedlichen Nummern, jedoch wussten wir nicht, welcher uns zurückbringt und mussten uns durch alle durchfragen, bis wir den richtigen gefunden hatten. Die Busfahrer sprechen kaum Englisch.

Vriendelijke buschauffeur die beperkt engels spreekt waardoor vragen niet begrepen worden, bustocht maar deze heeft niets met jeepsafari te maken, ramen kunnen niet open, geen off-road. Pauwen stelt niets voor, paar pauwen in lelijk stukje park, geen relatie tot eiland Kos.

In principe betaal je voor je vervoer. We vonden het wel iets prijziger voor gewoon een bus transfer. Kos zelf was niet helemaal wat we verwacht hadden. De mensen waren niet heel vriendelijk. Oude deel van Kos stad waren veel straatjes en leuke winkeltjes.

Pro Person 18 € für Hin und Rückfahrt überteuert. Aufenthalt in Kos mit 4 Stunden zu lange, soviel gibt es nicht zu sehen, 3 Stunden würden ausreichen. Laut Reiseleitung Dauer der Fahrt nach Kos ca 45 Min. Hinfahrt 1 Stunde, Rückfahrt 1,5 Std.

It was great to have a lovely air conditioned bus to Kos Town. I had looked at using public buses, however people had commented that they were unreliable, full and not air conditioned. Given I was travelling with my child, I just wanted that extra security (and air conditioning). It was a great trip, and the duration was perfect too.

Es war eine nette Gelegenheit, mal einen Ausflug raus aus dem Club zu machen. Kos City hat eine kleine süße Altstadt zum Bummeln und ein paar nette “Sehenswürdigkeiten”, aber vor allem auch nette Tavernen mit wunderbarem Essen. Wir waren im der Taverne am Plant Tree. 18 € p.P. Für die Fahrtkosten war auch angemessen iim Vergleich zu den Taxikosten. Und während der Busfahrt haben wir Lieder aus den 80-ziger Jahren gehört und haben uns köstlich amüsiert.

To travel to Kos town in air conditioned comfort pure bliss! The local buses are packed, not air conditioned and irregular. It would have been good if we were given some pointers of where to eat, where to head to etc. Nevertheless it’s a must visit and we had a great time. We had a coffee in Sous Sous at the entrance to old town, so friendly, gave water also and a biscuit, for a short stop would recommend.

Not anyone’s fault but a power cut disabled all electronic ways to pay for the whole of town, no banks were open as no power , no ATMs euros only. No where to drink or eat until power came back on nearly two hours. The bus driver said 1:30 pm departure prompt. He never turned up with his bus but gave it to someone else. We all waited until we tried asking another bus driver and he said yesss going to our hotel. Or we could of been left behind.

Ein toller Aufenthalt in Kos Stadt. Wir empfehlen definitiv die Altstadt und die Ausgrabungen, als auch das Denkmal von Hippocrates. Es gibt auch einen tollen Laden in Kos-Stadt, der anders als die ganzen Touristengeschäfte, lokale Produkte der Inseln und Griechenlands von kleinen Erzeugern verkauft. Definitiv zu empfehlen.

We were the first pick up and last drop off taking 1.5 hrs each way. On way home changed number on bus which confused everyone. No guide or information given, no map so had to try and find everything ourselves. Much cheaper and quicker on public bus.

Bus driver was quite abrupt with some of the people when he came to pick us up, he could of calmly explained that he was not leaving till 13:30 not raise his voice and tell us that we could get on the bus but he would not put the engine on, we were not bothered about air con just wanted to get out of sun and sit down , I am disabled and can not walk far or stand for to long, but every one was back early as you were told if your not hear for 13:30 you’ll have to get a taxi back.

Kos town was lovely however, TUIs customer care is shocking. No rep on the coach, we were just dumped off on Kos town, the driver couldn’t tell us what time to return as he was going and another coach would pick us up. No guidance where to go, just dropped off and left to get on with it. Also, the coach was 20 mins late picking us up from our hotel. Return journey driver was much more pleasant although he left with 2 people still to return to the coach for the journey home.

We were told we would be getting same bus back. Arrived driver said different bus for return didn't know number. A 358 arrived driver very unhelpful. Whever are bus. He also said people could get on but wouldn't turn air com on until bus left. Finally this was not our bus. Another bus arrived the driver very helpful and this was our bus. Kos town itself excellent. Disappointed by incorrect information and unhelpful driver. TUi aware of this due to previous reports but no action taken

The driver on the “collection bus” was 30 minutes late for pick up. When we arrived at Kos town he was nothing but aggressive and rude to everyone on the bus. He was asked as simple question about what time pick up was? His answer was “I don’t know, it will be a different driver and bus”. He answered rudely and aggressively. There was no pick up time on ticket. Luckily, another driver from a different bus was asked and we were given the right time. Left a sour taste. Not good enough!

Preis- Leistungs Verhältnis passt nicht. Uns wurde ein Ausflug für einen halben Tag versprochen. Der Bus hatte morgens 30 Minuten Verspätung. Mittags muss man in der heissen Mittagssonne am unbeschatteten Hafen mit Kleinkind auf den Bus warten, der 15 Minuten später kam als ursprünglich vereinbart. Der Busfahrer hatte eigenmächtig die Hin und Rückfahrzeiten geändert, ohne dies mit der TUi Reiseleitung abzusprechen. Somit hatten wir 1 Stunde weniger Zeit, um Kos Stadt zu erkunden.

This was just a bus. No interactive guide sent, no info at all, no map. Bus driver was prompt and informed us of bus time back. Nice drive back through high ground with views of coast.

A little disappointed that the local bus was only charging 4 euro each way but TUI charged 18 euro, saying the local bus dropped you out of the town but it was only a 5 minute walk away from the centre of Kos town

A little bit on the pricey side for €18 per adult but worth it in the sense that you know you’re getting back to the hotel as with the public bus that isn’t guaranteed. The only downside was that the bus didn’t have air-con, wasn't too hot but would’ve been nice to be cool. The bus driver was friendly and picked us up and left when he said they would, he had some fun music too haha! Kos town was very pretty and definitely worth going to. We had a good day and 4 hours is plenty.

Sehr schöne Stadt mit vielen kleinen Gassen. Schöner Hafen, viele Sehenswürdigkeiten, Souvenirshops und viele Tavernen mit sehr gutem Essen. Alles in allem einen Ausflug wert. Leider hatte (Dienstag) die Festung und das Museum geschlossen.

As port was closed we were dropped 40 minutes walk from the port, the driver could have dropped us much closer ! he just pointed and said, "port that way" in a disinterested manner, totally not what we expected .

I have already put in a complaint about this, the bad back had absolutely no air conditioning it was 13.30-14.00 the hottest part of the day and my baby was very very warm we had to strip him off completely, he almost got heat stroke!

Bus arrived 25min late. No communication sent to let us know. Also not clear where pick up point was and hotel staff unsure. No rep available until 9. Although arrived late informed pick up would be at 1pm not expected 1.30pm. Reducing time in Kos to 3hrs. Not advertised min 4 hours. Pick up arrived at 1.30pm after everyone on tour had waited in the sun as no shade available . A different driver who said 1.30 was pick up time. No explanation for other time given. Reluctant to book another trip.
