O que esperar
On this half-day outing, you'll explore Kos town under your own steam. As the island's capital, it offers up plenty of stuff to see and do. You'll be picked up from your hotel and dropped off in the centre, where the time's all yours to do as you wish.Many make a beeline for the port, which lined with cafés and tavernas is a great spot to soak in the town's atmosphere while nibbling on meze. At the far end of the harbour is the castle, which was built by the Knights of St John back in the 14th century. Elsewhere in the town, you've got the Roman Baths, the Odeon and Ancient Agora as well as the shop-and-bar-lined Eleftherias Square.And the recently renovated Archaeological Museum is packed with classical relics such as sculptures and mosaics. And Hippocrates' Plane Tree is a great spot for selfie. There's also the pebbly beach – an ideal spot to relax after all that sightseeing. Your transfer back will be ready at 13:30.

Not a guide as such Confusion over the bus Changed number on return coach luckily I asked driver and told some other people it was our return coach probably would not go on another trip with tui as the customer service was low and it was not a cheap trip people did what we had on local bus for less than quarter of price you need to offer much more for price your charging

Leider wurden wir schlecht informiert, das am diesen Tag der nationale Feiertag war und viele Geschäfte geschlossen hatten und der Aufenthalt einfach bis 15.0 Uhr zulange war. Man hätte uns auch erst gegen 9.00 abholen können anstatt gegen 8.00 Uhr dadurch hatte man kaum Zeit zum frühstücken. Sonst ist Kos eine sehr schöne Stadt mit kleinen Straßen und Läden

Abfahrt war 13.15 Uhr pünktlich angekündigt, man sollte etwas zeitiger da sein. Der Bus kam erst 13.17 Uhr und wartete bis 13.45 Uhr.

Der Transfer war pünktlich und der Fahrer freundlich. Es waren genug Sitzplätze vorhanden und der Fahrer ist sicher und gut gefahren. Es wurden viele Umwege zu Hotels gemacht, wodurch sich die Fahrtzeit verdoppelt hat. Das empfanden wir als sehr anstrengend, da keine Toilette und Verpflegung vorhanden war. Außerdem konnten wir in der App die Abfahrtzeit nirgendwo finden und mussten uns durchfragen. Es wurde ein Code für die POP Guide App versprochen, der nicht kam.

Vorab wurde im Voucher darauf aufmerksam gemacht, dass man sich für ein besseres Erlebnis in der Stadt die App Pop Guide herunterladen soll, man bekommt dann kurz vorher einen Code um diese App als " Guide zu nutzen" leider haben wir diesen Code nicht bekommen. Vor Ort hat der Fahrer lediglich über die Abfahrtszeit informiert der Bus für die Rückfahrt hatte aber dann eine andere Nr .Hier wäre eine Informationen darüber sehr hilfreich gewesen .

We took one of the road trains to get more of a feel for the town a bit expensive at 13 Euros each for half an hour but at least got to see more than on foot. Could have spent more than half a day but unfortunately the weather was not brilliant.

Traversée en bateau très agréable.La ville de Bodrum est plutôt agréable mais l y a pas mal de chiens errants dans la rue.Par contre la guide dirige les touristes vers le restaurant le Mösyo : la nourriture est correcte mais pas le temps de réfléchir : on vous met en commande un Mezzé pour commencer sans l'avoir demander ! Résultat : addition gonflée: Mezzé avec pain facturé en supplément+2 cocas+2 assiettes de kebab+2 portions de frites et 10 % de frais de service! : 58 € : piège à touristes

Einige Fahrer sind unfassbar unfreundlich, trifft aber nicht auf alle zu. Der Bus kam ne halbe Stunde zu spät und die Zeit wurde natürlich nicht hinten dran gehangen. Die angegebene Fahrzeit von 30-45 Minuten war dann eigentlich eine Stunde. Stadt Kos ist teuer und enttäuschend.

Stadt ist interessant , leider eine Stunde zu spät abgeholt worden, habe und will keine App, wo kurzfristig Abholzeiten reingestellt werden, Abholung war dann nach nicht 4 Stunden, wie bezahlt, zufällig drauf gekommen, dass Bus und Fahrer gewechselt wurden, knapp vor der Abfahrzeit machte sich doch ein dieses Mal dabei gewesener Betreuer von TUI auf die Suche nach den fehlenden Fahrgästen, trotz allem sind wir wieder gut im Tophotel Neptun angekommen. Dafür waren die Highlights Kos ein Hit !!!

Auf der rückfahrt wurde keine klimaanlage im bus angemacht. Das war für alle mitfahrenden kaum erträglich. Da auch die fenster am bus sehr heiss waren. Zumindest hatte der fahrer das fenster bei sich offen. Nach einer stunde busfahrt wurde dann doch mal die klimaanlage angemacht. (Es wurde mehrmals gefragt ob man diese anmachen kann)

Although we knew we wouldn't have a guide it did say we would get an app to give us information about the town - we didn't get it. We ended up using Google maps. Also the coach we came in was changed for the collection - we didn't get that information sent to us and we had to find out about it ourselves

Wir waren das erste Hotel was angefahren wurde mit einem Baby, danach wurden zuerst ca.7 andere Hotels angefahren bevor es nach Kos ging. Wären wir darüber informiert worden, hätten wir ein direktes Taxi gebucht. Durch den langen Umweg, hatten wir dan auch einen Zeitdruck um alles anzusehen. Wenn möglich die abholung später ansetzen.

Felt safe on the journey. Would have liked the bus to pick us up an hour later 9:10am Rather than 8:10am snd bring us back later so we could have had lunch in Kos town. As the bus was in early at the bus stop for the return journey It would have been nice to have been able to sit on the bus waiting for everyone to arrive. But we were told we couldn’t.

Schöner Ausflug in die Stadt Kos.Vom Marmari Palace dauert die Busfahrt 1Stunde,vergeht aber schnell.Kos selbst ist eine wunderschöne kleine Stadt mit vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten.Man hat mit vier Stunden genügend Zeit zum shoppen,schwimmen und sich den schönen Hafen und die kleinen Gassen mit Geschäften anzusehen.

36 Euro für 2 Erwachsene ohne Service. Der wird zwar versprochen mittels einer App, aber auf diesen Zugang wartet man vergeblich. Der gleiche Service mit dem öffentlichen Bus, der mehrmals fährt für 14 Euro (2 Erw.) würde ich künftig vorziehen.

Bei der Anreise wurde für die Rückfahrt eine andere Busnummer genannt. Kindersitze wären großartig. Sicherlich ein organisatorischer Aufwand, aber wenn etwas passiert, dann bringt es nichts das Kind auf dem Schoß sitzen zu haben. Wir mussten extra einen Kinderreisesitz durch Kos mitschleppen, was nicht sonderlich komfortabel war.

Bustransfer hat hin 1:25h und zurück 1:17h gedauert. Aber nicht aufgrund der langsamen Hauptstraße sondern weil der Bus alle anderen Hotels abgefahren ist. Mit der Info wären wir mit dem normalen LinienBus gefahren und auch flexibler gewesen. Des Weiteren war die Busnummer bei der Rückfahrt eine andere. Dies könnte auch mal schief gehen.

Ein toller Service - Hinfahrt und Abholung waren völlig unkompliziert und günstig. Und die 3,5 Stunden in Kos waren damit optimal für Besichtigungen und Shopping zu nutzen. Jederzeit wieder!

Der Transfer hat hin und zurück super geklappt. Preis/Leistungsverhältnis war top. Die Zeit von 4 Stunden in Kos Stadt war ausreichend zum erkunden, shoppen und was essen. Diesen Ausflug können wir nur empfehlen.

Wir haben online gebucht aber weder per Email noch am/im Bus haben wir den QR Code für die PopGuide App erhalten. Demzufolge waren wir leider ohne Infos in Kos unterwegs. Sehr schade, dass hätten wir für 3,50€ pro Person mit den normalen Bus haben können.

Coach driver prompt and polite. Appreciate it was self guided tour but there was a guide on the bus who could have given a little more info. May be trip could come with small map/suggestions? The castle in Kos town is shut for refurb. Most archeological sites seem to shut Tues (we went Monday) so if had booked a day after (nearly did) would have been cross. Essentially was just an expensive bus ticket but went door to door and we enjoyed visiting Kos town.

Reasonable trip, but not long enough in Kos town, shops only opened late morning which did not give much time to look around, the description said about a pop up guide but no details given about this or even if available. Suggest adding at least 2.hours to duration as taxi availability and public transport is poor for resort we are staying at.

Leider ist bei dieser Tour der Aufenthalt in Kos Stadt zu kurz. Man möchte sich doch die Sehenswürdigkeiten ansehen, bummeln und einkaufen und zu Mittag gut essen gehen. Wir hätten auf jeden Fall 2 bis 3 Stunden mehr gebraucht. Unser Hotel war sehr abgelegen sodass dies eine der wenigen Möglichkeiten war die Stadt zu besuchen. Dank dieser Tour war das wenigstens möglich und hat somit ihren Zweck erfüllt.

Den person der kom ind i bussen og skulle forklare talte Meget hurtig og når man så ikke er god til engelsk, blev vi ret frustreret . Der var forskellige selskaber- nogen skulle på rundvisning mm og der var ikke klar budskab om hvornår vi skulle være tilbage til bussen.

The bus was late to pick up. We were told we would be collected at 8:15 so be there at 8:05. The bus arrived at 8:30 so we spent 25 minutes in the hot sun waiting. I didn't feel there was a lot to do in Kos. It would have been helpful to have some pointers about what is good to see or popular tourist spots. The bus was then late to collect. We were told we would be collected at 1:15 so we arrived at 1:05 at the bus stop. The bus didn't arrive until 1:30 and there was no shade at all in the 32°

De uitstap was vrij prijzig en betrof uiteindelijk alleen een busrit heen en terug. Was geweten op voorhand, maar wat uitleg over de stad en duidelijke communicatie over verwachte afspraaktijden was beter geweest. In Kos stad zelf waren voornamelijk de winkeltjes open. Er was voordien geen melding van wat toegankelijk was en wat niet.

Kos stad is een mooie bezienswaardigheid. De heenrit verliep zeer vlot (+/-40 minuten). Ter plaatse krijg je 4 uur om rond te kijken. De terugrit was echter een hel (+/- 1u50) en de chauffeur van de bus was heel nors. Er mocht absoluut niet gedronken of gegeten worden op zijn bus (eten kan ik nog begrijpen, maar wij reisden met kinderen van 8 en 10 jaar en gezien de duur van de terugrit in snikhete bus vind ik verbod op drinken van water ongehoord!) Pas om 15u50 terug in hotel.

Handig om in Kos stad te geraken, taxi is hier duur. Helaas zijn wij op een dinsdag gegaan en die dag zijn alle historische sites en musea gesloten. Dus als je voor cultuur gaat, ga dan zeker niet op dinsdag naar Kos stad. Dit is misschien de moeite om te vermelden in de omschrijving…

Very disorganised we were left at the marina no guide and not told when to return or where to return to for the return bus. Was supposed to include an audio guide but this did not materialise. The other tui guides in other tours were unhelpful and did not speak English or at least didn’t when I tried to ask them for help.

Skladamy reklamacje dotyczaca wycieczki do Kos w dniu 1.07.2025 r. Pomimo jasnych oczekiwan co do zwiedzania miejsc historycznych, wiekszosc atrakcji byla zamknieta (wtorek), o czym nie zostalismy poinformowani. Uwazamy to za powazne zaniedbanie. Oczekujemy zwrotu kosztów i pilnego kontaktu ws. dalszego postepowania.

Alles goed geregeld. Ophaalpunt bij ander hotel was prima, alleen duidelijker laten weten welk hotel. Er lagen 2 hotels met ongeveer dezelfde naam
