The best of the Mexican Caribbean is calling on this exclusive boat trip to Isla Mujeres – think A-list landscapes and pampering along the way, all in a family-friendly setting. Your day kicks off with a hotel pick-up and check-in at Marina Hacienda del Mar. After hopping aboard the catamaran, you'll cruise through the Mexican Caribbean waters. If the weather plays ball, there'll even be a stop to snorkel, too. The coral reefs here are something to shout about, plus, you'll likely spot tropical fish – and if you're lucky, maybe even a sea turtle. Kids aged over eight can join in on the snorkelling fun, too, if they're with an adult, while those a little younger can enjoy a swim as long as an adult stays with them.Next, you'll head to Isla Mujeres' downtown before arriving at our exclusive beach club, where you'll enjoy relaxation under the palm trees, drinks from the open bar and a delicious grill buffet. If you're in the mood for a little adventure, a guided golf cart tour can take you to the southern tip of the island – perfect for those all-important holiday pics, with rugged coastline views and a lighthouse. A driving license is mandatory for the golf carts - you'll need your valid original, physical licence with you. After a day of exploring and unwinding, you'll sail back to the marina, soaking in the last views of the coast.

The minimum age for snorkelling is eight years old, and the maximum age is 59 years old. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times
You'll need to be able to swim around 400 metres to enjoy the guided snorkelling session
Just so you know, as the snorkelling is by a coral reef, you'll need to wear bio-degradable suncream to protect the environment, or you can buy some onboard
If you choose to take the golf cart trip, it's around 30 minutes, otherwise you can relax at the beach club
In the buffet grill at the beach club, you can typically find guacamole and chips, French fries, hot dogs, tortas, chicken chilaquiles, tacos, salads, fresh fruits and vegetables, and mexican desserts, like arroz con leche
Guided tour to the south of the island driving shared golf carts (30 min)
Snorkelling cannot be guaranteed and might be cancelled according to the weather conditions for safety

The family enjoyed the cruise. The water was crystal clear going to deep blue. The so called reef was disappointing. It was small and brown without a hint of colour. The guide rushed us through and we only saw three different species of small colourful fish. The staff had music blasting out of the speakers on the boat that you could hear in Florida. Food provided on one of the gorgeous beaches on Isla Mujeres was really tasty. Golf cart had stop speed of 5 mph very disappointing.

First and foremost, we were collected from our hotel. Driver have no indication of travel time and when we arrived at destination left us without any idea where we had to go so the group waited and eventually a guy from the boat walked up. Then there was the snorkel of the reef! This was a joke! The boat moored way off, we entered the water, swam as fast as the group could be dragged by the guide, briefly saw a bit of coral and a few fish, then got dragged back to boat, all caught on action cam

Brilliant from start to finish! Staff were amazing onboard and drinks kept flowing so helpful and friendly. Lovely on the island, service on the beach club was great too. I would say little signs on the food would have been good as I have a seafood allergy. I would 100% recommend and would definitely do it again - thank you

overall the experience was very good. the food at the beach club was excellent and those that snorkelled enjoyed it although I was not aware of the age restrictions for snorkeling before hand which was a bit disappointing. The crew on board were friendly and made the time enjoyable. The transport could have been better as we were a party of 13 and crammed into a small minibus with nowhere to put our bags etc with a journey of 90 mins

Loved the island it was spectacular, loved the beaches and clear water and snorkelling was so much fun, but the buffet said French fries and we have a fussy eater so was disappointed when there was none there, the favourite thought was the golf cart around the island, so much fun.

Alles nur zack zack . Nur 10min schnorcheln dann schnell weiter zur Insel mit dem Golfcar schnell zum Aussichtspunkt max. 20min Zeit. Nach 15 min drängelt der Guide schon. Dann schnell zurück zum Beachclub. Da muss man 2Stunden rumsitzen bis man zurück fährt. Auf der Rückfahrt einmal frei Schwimmen keine 5 min lang und dann wieder an Bord. Absolute Frechheit und nie wieder. Nur Geld abzocke nichts weiter. TUI sollte sich schämen.

More information should be provided. The snorkeling is not suitable for young children or older adults. We found out when we were on the boat that my husband was not allowed to snorkeli because of his age. We would not have booked this trip if we had known that the whole family could not be involved. We enjoyed it but it would have been better if he could have joined in.

Golf buggies allowed us to see more of the Island, however, although slow, no seat belts which was a bit of a concern for our youngest members (were pre warned by rep)

Top Mitarbeiter. Gut organisiert. Musik auf dem Boot und am Strandclub schlecht und viel zu laut. Vielvzu viele Menschen auf einem **********. Schnorcheln war ein total Ausfall! 60 Leute im Wasser nur Gebrüll. Sehr schlecht! Kann man keinem empfehlen!

Catamaran was too busy. Nowhere to sit shaded or put belongings. Snorkelling was rushed - everybody was quickly ushered off the boat. The hour stop in town was a waste of time. The beach was nice but nowhere near as idyllic as anticipated. Was it even on Playa Norte? The sun beds were crammed together. The food was poor and nothing really for my 2 young children. Definitely wouldn’t do this trip again.

Good - service on the boat, buggy around the island. Needs improving - sun cream rip-off. Told we needed specific sun cream to snorkel at a cost of £30!!! for one bottle. Then we were told on the boat not to wear sun cream at all before snorkelling. Felt ripped-off. Snorkel experience was also rushed and poor facilities.

Terrible experience, irresponsible company performance at every step. Customer service just wrong, offensive AI responses, very inexperienced and unreliable staff throughout. No point complaining as TUI failed to address matters at every stage from booking all the way through to return transfer; horrendous planning and lateness and baggage loss - always blaming others but always TUI's fault - very strong signal that this once fine reliable and staple company in package holidays is failing fast.

The day from start to finish was excellent. Staff friendly and knowledgable. Food on the island was lovely. Island is beautiful, definitely worth the trip. Only downfall, I researched reef friendly sun cream after reading what was required. Spent £15 a bottle which stated reef friendly only to be told it wasn't reef friendly by staff at the place where the catamaran departs. I was encouraged to purchase the bottles they supplied at a ridiculous price!! I did not purchase any more suncream!

Great balance of snorkeling, then 1st beach stop so you can go in shops and use the beach. Then back onto the catamaran to go to the beach club. Drinks flowing on catamaran and the beach club, food of good quality and a golf buggy trip that was exhilarating!!!!. Remember to take your driving license if you want to drive a golf buggy. Use the flippers when snorkeling as the ocean can be choppy in very open waters, 15 minutes offshore.

Lovely experience overall, just some slight issues brought this down. The taxi driver was 30 mins late on pick up, ride to and from port was erratic to say the least. Got stung with suncream issue despite buying reef safe beforehand. Boat experience and staff were great allround. Drop off at northshore felt rushed, would have enjoyed a little more time there. Guide was friendly Snorkel stop on the way to island felt very short. We were told there would be a snorkel stop each way and that is why we chose this trip as both adults could not participate and leave kids on boat. Very disappointed that there was only 1 stop. 1 hour at shopping are did not feel long enough to see that part of the island. Lunch buffett basic, drinks were nice and staff attentive. Buggy tour felt unsafe, no seat belts. Guide left us behind due to breakdown

It wasn't good value for money, only a 10 min stop to snorkel. Only 1 paddle board at the beach club although roughly 200 people there. Not told I needed my driving license to drive the golf cart or hire the 1 paddleboard or kayak. Staff of boat were friendly and helpful.

Didn't enjoy being told at check in that i had to purchase bio sun tan cream later to be told on the boat and reading the tui guidance only needed when snorkeling which we didn't do.$700 pesos. Not getting that money back. Food was appalling at the location. Worst food I have experienced on a tui trip. For the money we paid, I would never in a million years recommend this trip......

Für Leute die mit dem Katamaran die Isla Mujeres besichtigen möchten ein super Ausflug. Auf der Insel kann man sich auch ohne Aufpreis ein Kanu ausleihen. Kleines Trinkgeld reicht vollkommen aus. Waren mit 3 Kinder unterwegs 8 4 und 6 Jahre. Das Schnorcheln war dagegen etwas enttäuschend. Nur wenige Fische gesehen.

We had a truly fantastic day. It started with an early pick up in an air conditioned minibus then a couple of pick ups. Once at the dock we were introduced to the staff on the catamaran, they were all really friendly and attentive for the whole trip, so great credit goes to all of them. First we stopped on the reef halfway to Mujures for the snorkelling. This was awesome, we saw all kinds of fish and right at the end, about 15 minutes in total, we saw a huge stingray and a turtle, brilliant

we were NOT told by tui reps that the snorkeling age stopped at 65 and that we also needed a driving licence to do the golf buggies on the other side. this was very disappointing as we booked the trip on the recommendation of the reps to find we couldn't do them. The island we went to was beautiful but not for the price that we paid, to just see that and the beach resort for the.price that was paid for the total day trip

Albatross service was amazing, they worked so hard! Snorkeling was well led, north side of the island very tourist trap, lots of shops. South side beach club was bus, food not amazing. Really recommend going on the golf cart to punta sur, amazing views. Overall would recommend.

The staff on board of the catamaran were amazing , so kind and thoughtful, I recommend this excursion with all my heart. We were travelling with a 3 year old and everything was top service, staff always checking if we were okay or if we needed anything. The gentleman who drove us to the marina and back and also the lovely girl who helped us with the check in prior to boarding the boat were both so lovely. And lastly, Isla Mujeres was paradise, the beach club was amazing, very clean facilities

Dieses Ausflugspaket ist unmöglich. Ich weiß wie Schnorcheln geht schon von anderen Schnorchelausflügen in anderen Gegenden funktioniert. Auf diesem Ausflug passte der Ort nicht-viel zu weit draußen auf dem Wasser mit dem natürlichen Wellengang, wo einem ständig das Wasser oben in den Schnorchel **********, man eh dadurch beim schnorcheln behindert wird. Außerdem nehmen alle Meeresbewohner bei der Musiklautstärke sowieso reissaus. Auf der Insel wieder überlaute Partymusik, viel zu enger Strandab

The staff on the catamaran were friendly and very attentive. Drinks were flowing throughout. Transport to and from the start point went smoothly. The snorkelling was great fun but we only had 20 minutes. The trip could be vastly improved if that stop was longer. Time on the mainland was too long. The golf buggies were dangerous! Several broke down. Ours arrived covered in oil which we got on our clothes. I asked for help and was told no. The brakes failed nearly resulting in a nasty accident.

Der Preis für den Ausflug ist schon recht hoch, jedoch aufgrund der Leistungen (Transfer zum Hafen und zurück zum Hotel, Fahrt mit dem Katamaran, Fahrt mit dem Golf-Buggy, Mittagessen, Getränke inkl. während des gesamten Ausflugs) noch angemessen. Der Service war exzellent!

The trip was sold to us as a family day out, turns out you can’t go snorkelling if you’re over 60years old, which my parents are, but no one told us that when booking. They just wanted the sale. It absolutely spoilt what was going to be a wonderful trip for our 40th and 70th birthdays. My parents are fitter than most of their age too. Tried speaking to the Rep after and she just said it wasn’t to do with her and she wasn’t aware, even though we found out that they are all told in their training.

Only enjoyable part was the free time on the beach did it 4 years ago 100x better no organisation birds eating out the food we was expected to eat bird poo all over the sides, kart tour guide never stopped us once to point out what was what previously was given loads of information. This trip has dropped off majorly then pressured to give tips for a trip we thought was terrible when I refused they went to mom and lied saying I said she was tipping them.

Well, we was under the impression that that we were going to be snorkelling for an hr, which at most was not even 20 mins, rushed back on boat. To get to 1st part of island for shopping. Once back on boat took no longer than 15 mins to next stop for lunch and to do the golf buggy tour. We got off boat and had lunch, halfway through eating to be told we were not in right Resturant. We had had NO Guidence. We didn’t get to do buggies as hadn’t pre booked. After 2 half hrs back on boat, Back!! .

When we arrived staff wS great on the boat but as soon as we got to the beach we was not shown where to go we sat down at to eat and we wS told we was at the wrong place half way through eating our meal so we got up to try and find our guide, to look for buggy tour as we was told we could have a 50 minute tour of the buggy we searched for our tour guide which was a no show, a compl6wSte of money would never book a trip with tui again absolutely shocking

no collection, waiting 2 hours for coach which did not turn up. had to get taxi. sold a TUI english trip but nothing to do with Tui and only 2 english families. deserted at the end and had to pay for a cab to get back to hotel. £130!!! missed our evening Christmas meal (overall 12.5 hours out of the hotel)

Brilliant experience from start to finish. Catamaran staff were excellent, very attentive and enthusiastic, we really enjoyed our time on the boat. The island was beautiful, golf buggy tour was fun, saw some great sights. Beach club was nice, good food and drinks although did feel a little busy. Snorkelling was not quite as expected, it was quite choppy, deep water and surrounded by lots of boats, not the quiet colourful coral reef I imagined but the staff were very good. Overall fantastic trip.

The transfer never arrived and there was no communication from the Tui Reps of an issue. We waited 2 hours then had to book our own taxi to the port. When we arrived there was no Tui rep to greet us so it was very confusing on where to go next. We were put on a boat that wasnt a Tui ship and even though the crew on board were fantastic, we were sold a TUI only boat with a santa on board for xmas day and this didn’t happen leaving our children very upset. Theres more to say…

The trip was very well organised. Unfortunately due to the wind we were unable to snorkel with all the tropical fish. However, the trip was fun, the golf buggies were funny. The kids enjoyed themselves too. I recommend this trip.
