Maria, l'une de nos guides locales expertes, explique : "Isla Mujeres, ou l'"île des femmes", était autrefois un lieu sacré pour les Mayas, qui l'associaient à la déesse Ix Chel. Aujourd'hui, c'est un sanctuaire pour les tortues de mer et elle se trouve juste à côté de la barrière de corail méso-américaine, classée par l'UNESCO, ce qui en fait un lieu privilégié pour la plongée en apnée, la plongée sous-marine et les éco-aventures".Votre journée commence par la prise en charge à votre hôtel et l'enregistrement à la Marina Hacienda del Mar. Après avoir embarqué à bord du catamaran exclusif TUI Collection, vous naviguerez dans les eaux des Caraïbes mexicaines. Un premier arrêt est prévu pour faire du snorkeling parmi les récifs coralliens où ils sont particulièrement remarquables. Vous pourriez aussi y apercevoir des poissons tropicaux et, avec un peu de chance, peut-être même une tortue de mer. Les enfants de plus de huit ans peuvent même faire du snorkeling s'ils sont accompagnés d'un adulte, tandis que les plus jeunes peuvent profiter d'une baignade à condition qu'un adulte reste avec eux.Le programme vous emmène ensuite au centre-ville d'Isla Mujeres puis à notre beach club exclusif où se détendre est le but de la visite. Imaginez des boissons à volonté au bar ouvert, un délicieux buffet de grillades et des chaises longues sous les palmiers. Les enfants de moins de huit ans ne peuvent pas participer à la séance de plongée en apnée.
Les enfants âgés de huit ans et plus peuvent faire de la plongée en apnée s'ils sont accompagnés d'un adulte.
Vous devez être capable de nager environ 400 mètres pour participer à la séance de plongée libre guidée.
Veuillez noter que la plongée libre se déroulant près d'un récif corallien, vous devez utiliser une crème solaire biodégradable afin de protéger l'environnement, ou vous pouvez en acheter à bord.
Si vous choisissez de faire le trajet en voiturette de golf, celui-ci dure environ 50 minutes. Sinon, vous pouvez vous détendre au club de plage.
Au buffet grill du club de plage, vous trouverez généralement du guacamole et des chips, des frites, des hot-dogs, des tortas, des chilaquiles au poulet, des tacos, des salades, des fruits et légumes frais, ainsi que des desserts mexicains, comme l'arroz con leche.

The trip was sold to us as a family day out, turns out you can’t go snorkelling if you’re over 60years old, which my parents are, but no one told us that when booking. They just wanted the sale. It absolutely spoilt what was going to be a wonderful trip for our 40th and 70th birthdays. My parents are fitter than most of their age too. Tried speaking to the Rep after and she just said it wasn’t to do with her and she wasn’t aware, even though we found out that they are all told in their training.

Only enjoyable part was the free time on the beach did it 4 years ago 100x better no organisation birds eating out the food we was expected to eat bird poo all over the sides, kart tour guide never stopped us once to point out what was what previously was given loads of information. This trip has dropped off majorly then pressured to give tips for a trip we thought was terrible when I refused they went to mom and lied saying I said she was tipping them.

Well, we was under the impression that that we were going to be snorkelling for an hr, which at most was not even 20 mins, rushed back on boat. To get to 1st part of island for shopping. Once back on boat took no longer than 15 mins to next stop for lunch and to do the golf buggy tour. We got off boat and had lunch, halfway through eating to be told we were not in right Resturant. We had had NO Guidence. We didn’t get to do buggies as hadn’t pre booked. After 2 half hrs back on boat, Back!! .

When we arrived staff wS great on the boat but as soon as we got to the beach we was not shown where to go we sat down at to eat and we wS told we was at the wrong place half way through eating our meal so we got up to try and find our guide, to look for buggy tour as we was told we could have a 50 minute tour of the buggy we searched for our tour guide which was a no show, a compl6wSte of money would never book a trip with tui again absolutely shocking

no collection, waiting 2 hours for coach which did not turn up. had to get taxi. sold a TUI english trip but nothing to do with Tui and only 2 english families. deserted at the end and had to pay for a cab to get back to hotel. £130!!! missed our evening Christmas meal (overall 12.5 hours out of the hotel)

Brilliant experience from start to finish. Catamaran staff were excellent, very attentive and enthusiastic, we really enjoyed our time on the boat. The island was beautiful, golf buggy tour was fun, saw some great sights. Beach club was nice, good food and drinks although did feel a little busy. Snorkelling was not quite as expected, it was quite choppy, deep water and surrounded by lots of boats, not the quiet colourful coral reef I imagined but the staff were very good. Overall fantastic trip.

The transfer never arrived and there was no communication from the Tui Reps of an issue. We waited 2 hours then had to book our own taxi to the port. When we arrived there was no Tui rep to greet us so it was very confusing on where to go next. We were put on a boat that wasnt a Tui ship and even though the crew on board were fantastic, we were sold a TUI only boat with a santa on board for xmas day and this didn’t happen leaving our children very upset. Theres more to say…

The trip was very well organised. Unfortunately due to the wind we were unable to snorkel with all the tropical fish. However, the trip was fun, the golf buggies were funny. The kids enjoyed themselves too. I recommend this trip.

We were told when we booked the trip that it was a specially decorated boat ready for our Christmas sail, when we arrived it was just a normal trip. The snorkelling was cancelled but there were other boats snorkelling so thought this was a joke. We spoke with the rep and complained and it was only then that they arranged the Santa from the other boat to come to ours, everything was very rushed and I feel the whole trip which was very expensive was missold by the TUI team

Ich habe auch eine Firma und kenne mich aus. Oft ist der Erste Eintruck entscheidend und in diesem Fall ernüchternd. Leider ist die Umgebung am Hafen sehr ernüchternd, es hat den Anschein eines Schiffsfriedhofs. Überall stehen teilweise Schiffe und Boote die sich im Wasser und am Land auflösen. Es wäre ein Einfaches mit geringem Aufwand dort etwas Einladender,Vertrauenswürdiger und Professioneller aufzutreten. Eure Teams sind hochmotiviert und geben den ganzen Tag eine tolle Leistung ab.

Terrible from tui, they cancelled our taxi home while we are already on the trip and just got a text at 4pm asking us to sort our own way back. The marina was over and hour and a half from our hotel and didn’t have any taxi rank to ask for a lift back. We had to go into other hotels and ask them to sort our taxi as we had no numbers to call. We were just left there to sort thing out for ourselves after already paying tui do get us home.

I feel we were somewhat misled, this was supposed to be a trip to the island with snorkelling as part of the trip, the one thing that we most wanted to do as the snorkelling around the waters by the hotel are not good due to sea weed and very little rockery etc for sea life. We got on the boat after being told we couldn’t use our suncream to snorkel. Then when at water we were informed that if you are over 60 you couldn’t snorkel. It would be a good idea to let the client know this before they

When we arrived to pick up the boat we were stood around for probably 30 minutes checking in before boarding and also we were pretty much forced to buy sunscreen as ours wasn’t “environmentally friendly” we wasn’t told that we needed this type of sunscreen this needs to be made clear going forward!

The food was very good. We enjoyed the carts but they are old and not guaranteed reliability. The organisation for the carts took 20minute to say they do theses trips day in day out. The snorkeling was not as enjoyable as we expected. We thought we stop in the coral reef and snorkel at our leisure but no it ended up doing a 400m swim following the guide. We are all strong swimmers but this took it out on alot of people especially children, not the nicest of experiences if it was your first time.

The day as a whole was amazing. The boat and the crew were great and the stop points were brilliant. The buggy tour was also great. The only down point was that when booking the confirmation stated that children under 6 could not snorkel but would be able to swim while at the snorkeling stop, however this was not the case and children under 6 or anyone who did not want to snorkel were not allowed off the boat during the snorkel stop.

Overall a nice trip. Felt rushed in places (snorkelling and golf buggy ride around island) food at beach club wasn’t great either and some of it was left open so the birds were having a field day. The beaches were amazing and you had a bit of free time to explore by yourself. Also, get travel sickness bands before the trip as they are a tip off otherwise, and get a waterproof phone cover too

Loved it all it snorkel stop, beach, lunch & drinks all day was good value. Staff were brilliant on the boat and made the day fun for everyone. Only complaint was 1 hour to get to boat and on the way home it took 2 half hours as we went the total other way to drop people off at their hotel. Surely the journey out should have been the same on the way home.

We waren er bij het boeken van de excursie niet van op de hoogte dat kinderen pas vanaf 8 jaar mogen snorkelen. Onze zoon van 7 jaar mocht dus niet snorkelen. Er werd bij deze mededing door de medewerkers op de catamaran gezegd dat er later op het eiland nog voldoende ruimte zou zijn om te snorkelen. Dit was echt niet zo. De gehele excursie was gehaast en niet wat we verwacht hadden. Achteraf gemeld bij de reisleider van TUI. Hij was verbaasd en niet op de hoogte.

The mini bus was a full and felt tight on space so was not the most comfortable hour transfer. The staff on the boat and golf buggy trip were really good. Informative, full of energy and not pushy. They really made the event good. Overall well organised and happily recommended to others.

Really good value for Money! The whole trip was absolutely brilliant! The Island is so beautiful and it was great to trek around the Island on the buggy. So much to see! The boat was clean and the service on the boat was excellent. We stopped to snorkel in the Sea which was one of the highlights because we saw the underwater statues! Fabulous Trip !!

The checkin was intimidating, telling you you cant swim with the suncream you have, you must buy the suncream they sell or you pollute the sea & kill the wildlife. catamaran itself was lovely but over crowded & the staff demanding tips was embarrassing. The beachclub was ridiculous, the owners disgusting dog following you about was dangerous. The staff wouldn’t give you a plate unless you tipped them but the food was disgusting. No available beds at the beachclub. Waste of money

Absolutely amazing tour. The beaches are out of this world. The beach club was amazing. The food included was great. The crew on the catamaran were so friendly & very attentive. The golf buggy was great fun & we saw some great sights. I would 100% recommend this excursion.

A great day out, with some great memories and many great photos.. The staff looked after us very well and were very attentive, constantly offering us drinks. Enjoyed the catamaran trip across lovely blue sea. The snorkelling was a little bit disappointing as there wasn’t actually much to see. The time in the town/beach was nice. Lunch at the beach club was ok, then the buggy trip was fun. Only bad bit was at the start of the day, waiting around for an hour to board, in a very smelly place.

The sailing on the catamaran was fantastic & the staff were very friendly & welcoming. My big disappointment was the snorkeling which I'd been looking forward to. It felt totally rushed & frantic, 30 minutes spent trying to keep up with a group of 20+ swimmers. The life jackets were too big & buoyant. What I'd hoped would be beautiful & serene was stressful & a let down. The explanation needs to be more reflective of the actual snorkeling experience.

Ein Ausflug, der eigentlich in der Idee gar nicht so schlecht ist. Man geht nur 1 mal Schnorcheln. Und das so cca. 10 min ohne auf eigene Faust was machen zu können Zweiter Stop auf der Insel. Man.muss dort durch ein Einkaufscenter auf die Insel. Idee. Am Strand bleiben und cca 200 Meter bach rechts gehen. Da ist ein schöner öffentlicher Strand. Zweiter Stop auf der Insel mit geschätzten 300 Leuten. Das Golfcardfahren ziemlich langweilig. Alles wie am Fließband. Viel zu teuer.

Disappointed with the snorkelling experience- very busy and little to see. Felt pressured to buy suntan lotion even though only swam in reef for short periods and start of experience. Enjoyed golf carts.

Make sure you have plenty of suncream! We bought some and it worked out at £28! Also it didn’t work for me, I have never been so burnt in my life! Buy suncream, skin bands, hat and waterproof cases before you go if you need them. I would have skipped the 1st stop and had longer at the Island.

The organizers have asked the guests for tips at the end of the cruise; also they have personally asked me private details like where was I lodging in which Hotel etc. I was picked up too early from the Hotel and had to wait for one hour and 45 minutes before setting sail.

Fantastic trip, we were kept well hydrated on the day. The catamaran was spotless, crew lovely. Angel the guide was brilliant and the highlight for us was the golf buggy tour around the island. The Albatros beach bar was also great. Lots packed into this trip but didn't feel too rushed. Would recommend 5/5 for anyone with kids over 8 (min age limit to snorkel)

Overall a great experience only points to note are that we booked the trip to do snorkelling however we were not made away until we were on the boat that this was no longer going to happen . We were also pressured to buy natural suntan lotion after being told we could not swim unless we bought the suntan lotion & then told we were not swimming was a con . Also felt pressured to tip when the staff make you feel bad saying the tips are how we feed our families . It’s a great trip don’t get me wron

Main reason for booking was the snorkeling, the trip was cancelled on the Sunday due to the sea conditions but we were told Monday would be perfect. It wasn't and there was no snorkeling so just a boat trip and golf cart which was good but not worth the money. I appreciate can't help the weather but Tui knew the snorkeling wouldn't happen and didn't tell us. On check in they also sold us eco sun cream for swimming that wouldnt impact the sea life knowing we wouldn't be going in the water!!!

This excursion was excellent. Picked up on time. Smooth check in at the marina. The catamaran was lovely and the staff were excellent. The guide Angel was brilliant, very friendly but also informative and friendly. The beach club was great and the gold buggy tour was a great way to see the island. Lots of lovely little shops, reasonable prices on the island. We are really enjoyed this day.

Done what it said on the tin, but the snorkelling was very rushed like the rest of the activities. The golf carts didn’t work properly and we spent more time at local coconut shacks trying to sell magnets than exploring the island. Which we though we would do

Over all the trip was good, however the whole trip was very very rushed, being a family trip there was hardly any time to enjoy the island and stops. Was a shame we didn’t get to fully enjoy it and felt extremely rushed

Leider war nur ein schnorchelstop und wir mussten uns das Golfcar mit einem anderen Pärchen teilen. Das fand ich nicht so toll denn wir haben dafür ja bezahlt. Die Zeit war insgesamt zu kurz, sehr viel Zeitdruck und beim ankommen am hafen mussten wir noch über 1 Stunde warten bis es erst einmal los ging. Die Crew an board war super und immer hilfsbereit.
