O Friguia Park é mais do que um zoológico – é um reino animal onde você pode ver e conhecer de tudo, de antílopes a zebras. Nesta excursão guiada, você passará a manhã se aproximando de mais de 60 espécies de animais – é o passeio perfeito para toda a família. O primeiro zoológico da Tunísia, Friguia, protege e preserva as espécies mais ameaçadas. Passeie pelas trilhas elevadas e aprenda sobre os animais bem cuidados do parque, que são divididos em habitats espaçosos por espécie. Nas áreas úmidas, você pode ver flamingos cor-de-rosa e pelicanos, enquanto na savana você pode observar zebras, elefantes, tigres, leões e leopardos. pick up on time and all guests on a small bus. travel time wasn’t long. We got 2.5 hours to look around the zoo. That was just about right and we saw all the animals that were open. We couldn’t go into the giraffe house, crocodile area or elephants. I’m not sure if they had these animals as we only saw workers trimming bushes in these areas. Camel rides for children and adults visit 5 TND and last 5 minutes. Animals friendly. One monkey on its own in small enclosure only problem I had.

we booked this thinking highly of the park and it was just a poor show of a experience, hardly any animals to view or out due to “being to hot” on the plus side was the lion feeding show such a nice watch but apart from this i defiantly wouldn’t recommended the park itself

We were picked up an hour late to this excursion with no apology from guide. No extension on the time at the zoo for the late pick up so didnt even get around half of it befpre having to come back. It felt like a waste of money and then rushed due to the late pick up

Worst reviews but the best trip (if you want camel rides) Did the Lion feed walk. 20 dinars (around £5 ) for 4 teens to camel ride. Great experience and lots of time given to feed, photos and turns to walk camels plus rides. Advise to go straight there on entrance. Pay at kiosk opposite camels. Fixed price souvenir shop. Tunisian dancers and drums. Enough animals to see in the 2.5 hour trip. Great tour guide who gave lots of information through the drive on different ares passing. Enjoyed this.

Due to late arrival of coach we had a shorter amount of time in park due to having to be at specific points at specific times. Really enjoyed watching the lions being fed.

Tour Staff were great however the zoo itself was very poor. Many animals missing, those that were there looked in poor health and not looked after. Many normally social animals were alone and showed signs of stress and discomfort.

£64 for something that when we got to the gate to find would have been less than £15 was a big shock. A taxi there and back would have been less than £20 so not good value for a poor zoo experience with over half the animals no longer present. AVOID.

The park has become a little run down since our last visit several years ago. No sea lions anymore or giraffes. Restaurant very lacking on drinks although several kiosks with more variety.. desperate for investment to bring the park back to life, needs a lot doung

This was awful. On the face of it the excursion looks good value at £25 each. It’s not!! Firstly the so called guide said nothing there or back at all. When we arrived he disappeared without telling us how long we had before we had to go back to the mini-bus. I had to find him hiding at the back of the cafe to ask him when we had to leave. There was no guide or information about the animals only what you had to read yourself. The worse part, no dolphins or sea lions. Just a dry pool!!! Avoid!!!

We chose the zoo for the dolphin show—no dolphins, sea lions, elephants, or giraffes. Only one distant zebra. Feeding the lions was the highlight. The guide gave brief instructions, then vanished. Very disappointing overall.

It was a very good trip. The coach was on time, the driver and guide were pleasant. The zoo was very nice, lots of animals,such as white tigers, porcupines, flamingoes and was just the right size for the 2 and a half hours we had there. There was also some people drumming and singing. Seal show was shut though. It also had a really good gift shop, we got presents to take home and I wish I had taken more money or a cash card. It was really cheap, nice things and no hassle or bargaining.

Animals were quite far away so get that zoom ready on your camera. Sea lion show was great. Just enough time to get round the park. Get what you pay for

Schöner kleiner Tiergarten aber recht teuer für die dortigen Verhältnisse Bus Transfer circa 1 Stunde und man sieht viel idealer kurzer 4 Stunden Ausflug mit Kids

The trip to Frigua was excellent- our guide was very helpful and friendly. He gave detailed information about what to expect on the way to the park. The gift shops at the park are not pushy in the slightest, unlike the medinas in Hammamet. There is no pressure to buy anything. The African band that played after the sea lion show were fantastic. While it was proposed to leave a small tip for their performance it was no pressurised nor mandatory, we tipped because they were fantastic. 10/10

Excellent
I can physically see groups of lions and some strange animals but the variety of their breed is a few. I would recommend to children who can have a closer look to them rather than via books or tv.

Nice morning out, with the grandkids, who enjoyed this trip. The zoo is just about big enough to enjoy your time there. On site shops were reasonably priced so we purchased gifts, ice lollies etc from there. Camel rides were available there too at a cost of 5 dinar. The animals were all visible and an opportunity to see some rare animals

We enjoyed the opportunity to see the crocodile and the lions and tigers however from a personal perspective having been before it was not as good as we remembered and felt we could cover seeing everything within 1-1.5hours.

The trip was a good idea until we got to the venue and we were told we only had just over an hour to see the whole zoo. We had to rush around making sure we got a much in as much as we could in the short space of time we were given, which is not easy when you have children with you.
