Perched on a clifftop overlooking sweeping bays, Taormina is home to some of the best-preserved historic landmarks in the world. And on this tour, you'll not only see the famed ‘pearl of Sicily', but you'll also see the highest active volcano in Europe. Journey up to 1,900 metres for the grandstand views atop Mount Etna, before spending free time in Taormina and tasting the local Sicilian Arancino.

Die Tour war sehr angenehm gestaltet, die Reiseführer haben auf Italienisch und Englisch viel interessantes erzählt und waren sehr freundlich. Was wirklich schade war, dass dieTickets bis ganz hinauf zum Ätna nicht vorab gekauft wurden, so mussten wir sehr lange warten und das hat sich auf die Tour in Taormina ausgewirkt, denn dort hatten wir nur sehr wenig Zeit, und dass obwohl wir eine Stunde später als geplant wieder im Hotel angekommen sind.

Es war insgesamt ein sehr schöner Ausflugstag. Leider bleibt für Taormina nur noch eine Stunde Zeit zur freien Verfügung. Vielleicht wäre es schöner, die Startzeit um eine Stunde nach vorne zu legen, um am Ende etwas mehr von der wunderschönen Stadt zu haben. Für den Ätna war genügend Zeit vorhanden.

Merci aux guides Franco pour l'Etna et à Patrizia pour Syracuse. Visites très dynamiques et intéressantes. Nous étions biens prises en charge avec beaucoup de bienveillance. Une très ********** organisation. Et merci également à la personne qui nous a proposé les 2 excursions à l'hôtel Mangia.

Tag zuvor gebucht, aber während des Abholtermin s standen wir nicht auf deren Liste. Bestand zu 70% aus Busfahrt und während dieser Busfahrt führten wir ein Gespräch über unsere morgige gebuchte Tour. Gecancelt ohne Optionen. Überbucht! Digitalisierung ?Getyourguide gab uns viele Möglichkeiten. Die Tour zum Ätna war sehr schön, aber selbst organisiert wesentlich günstiger. TUI ist schlecht vernetzt. Sry . . .

Abholung: 8 Uhr am Hotel. Mit dem Bus gibg es dann zum Ätna. Dort konnte man gegen einen Aufpreis von 52€ ein Seilbahnticket erwerben um auf eine Höhe von ~2500M zu kommen. Vom Ätna aus gibg es mit dem Bus Ruchtung Taormina. Insgesamt war der Ausflug schön. Man wünscht sich im nachhinein nur ein wenig mehr Zeit um sichbdas ganze wirklich in Ruhe anschauen zu können.

Magnifique journée ! Dommage qu'on parle pas français. La journée était en grande partie la débrouille pour moi qui etait seul belge! Et je trouve un peut chère la journée 110e à l hotel pour l excursion et sur place 78e de plus pour visiter etna et taormine et avec pour lunch 1 seul article ( boisson ou nourriture au choix ) le reste on paye encore! Dommage
