We enjoyed mangrove, cave and scenic view back down the coast. Trip could have been covered in less time. We thought island visit for lunch wasn’t necessary, there was nothing to see or do, lunch could have been anywhere. Catamaran journey was very rough, we were sat at the front and was completely wet through, should have been warned to bring raincoat or plastic covering provided for first two rows. Tour guide and driver of coach were very good, however, changeover on highway should not happen.

De dag heeft 13 uur geduurd veel te lang en he bacardie eiland is niet meer zo als het geweest is geen wit strand veelst veel kraampjes dan kan je beter naar wajahybe gaan en daar het water over en de gids hoort zijn eigen graag praten

Gebucht wegen Los Haitises national park. Leider verbrachten wir den ganzen Nachmittag auf der Barcardi Insel. Dort völlig überfüllter Strand, 3 Toiletten für tausende Menschen. Ekelhaft Unser Boot war kaputt, wir wurden immer wieder um 15,30,40,30,15 Minuten. Um 17:30 kam Ersatz Boot (statt 14:15 h!!!). Los haitises erreichten Wir leider in der Dämmerung. Sehr schade! Eigentlich Kaffee Fahrt charakter... Nicht zu empfehlen!

Zostaliśmy oszukani przez TUI. Wykupiliśmy wycieczkę polskojęzyczną a okazało się że to wycieczka międzynarodowa z dominującym językiem niemieckim. Nasza przewodnik Pani Patrycja totalna porażka. Utknęliśmy na wyspie 3 godziny z powodu awarii motorówki. Nikt w tym czasie nie udzielił nam żadnej informacji kiedy wyruszamy dalej. Na plaży miały czekać darmowe leżaki , zapomnij. Z powodu 3 godzinnego opóźnienia nie zrealizowano pełnego programu, czekamy na odpowiedź TUI co dalej. Katastrofa

Gids was prima, NP erg mooi. Wel vond ik het een erg lange dag ( 12 uur ) dat was niet meegedeeld. We hadden dat graag van tevoren geweten. Ook de tijd in het NP Haitises vond ik erg kort, zo’n 75 minuten. Als dat de hoofdmoot van je excursie is had ik daar meer van verwacht. De stops in de touristtraps ( shops ) hadden voor mij niet gehoeven. Het strand en de lunch op Samana waren prima. De dolfijnen en de bultrug met baby was een bonus. Meer NP Haitises zou ik aanbevelen.

Tour was supposed to be with an English Guide, but it had varying nationalities, with a multilingual Guide. Unfortunately he spent most of the time speaking German. So we had no idea what we were looking at. Definitely a waste of time.

Großartige Tagestour. Es gab viel zu sehen und zu entdecken bzw. lernen über die Bevölkerung. Highlight war dann die Fahrt durch den Mangroven Wald. Unbedingt weiter zu empfehlen. Muss man gesehen haben ????

The paperwork said 8 hours full day 6.50 till 8pm Was ridiculous My wife was not happy as I had said we would be back 3 ish as 8 hours Virtually all the commentary was in polish The food was below poor I was going to do the trip a second time But once is enough I hope to see lots of birds In a national park But we only see a few species from the boat trip As for the mangroves. That was sterile and devoid of life It was the biggest waist of my time and money We will not be travelling with TUI a

Vanuit Bayahibe is de dag echt te lang. Vanaf 05.50 tot 20.45 uur onderweg geweest. En tot 06.20 gewacht tot de bus er eindelijk was…… dat is bij zo vroeg opstaan niet leuk. Verder was de excursie en personeel prima hoor. Tevens wel teleurstellend dat een andere wandel excursie door Anamuyagebergte NIET mogelijk was vanuit Bayahibe en daar had ik me nou net op verheugd. Dat vind ik een fikse tegenvaller. Dat moet beter vermeld worden.

Wie eine Kaffeefahrt, die Busfahrt war schlimm. Insgesamt waren wir wir 12 Std. unterwegs. Abgeholt wurden wir schon mal 15min zu spät und mussten dann noch auf andere Teilnehmer warten die mit eine anderen Transfer abgeholt wurden. Der erste und zweite stop bei „Plantage“ stellte sich schon als fragwürdig da, ein großes feld mit diversen Pflanzen und der Aussichthügel. Die Bacardi insel war schön aber zu kurzer Aufenthalt von gut einer Stunde. Die Boot Fahrt war okay sowie die Höhle.

Il y a 3 étapes avant d’arriver sur l’île pour se poser sur la plage. Certaines de ces 3 étapes sont en surplus comme la 1ere où on reçoit un café ou un chocolat. On remonte dans le bus pour s’arrêter 5 minutes plus tard: 2e étape la montagne. Une 3e étape pour un arrêt sandwich à un endroit où on peu acheter des souvenirs à des prix exorbitants. Plus que une heure sur la plage avant d’aller manger. Le repas n’est pas bon du tout. Très sale aussi. La mangrove et la grotte remontent la note.

Der Vormittag war für uns eine Verkaufsveranstaltung. Wir waren auf eine "Kaffeeplantage", haben einen Aussichtspunkt besucht und waren auf einem Marktplatz (einzelnes Verkaufgeschäft), wo wir ein trockenes Hamburgerbrötchen mit Wurst und Käse - ohne Butter /Margarine - erhalten haben. Das Mittagessen auf der "Baccardi-Insel" war des Witz des Jahres. Es gab - als Buffet - Tomatensalat, Gurkensalat, Reis, seltsame Kartoffeln, Hähnchenknochen !!! und Fisch. Die Tour wurde verschoben wegen zu wenig Teilnehmern. Die dann später veranstaltete Tout war voll ausgebucht und das war einfach zu viel. Zudem fand sie in 3 Sprachen statt und man musste teilweise nachfragen.

To see the island in a convenient way with a guide is excellent. Things to improve: safety in the cave. It needed guided ropes and light. There was no need at the end of a long day to call for a further snack. It would have been better to get back to the hotel earlier. Water proof kagools were needed on the boat. The time on the beach was minimal , to drink and swim in one hour was difficult. No facilities for drying and changing. However, the sights and experience was very good.

Leuk: de diversiteit van de dag, de jovialiteit van Daniel, de vele uitleg over zijn land in het algemeen en de passie waarmee hij vertelde. Minder leuk: de lange busrit terug, geen toilet op de bus. Meest memorabele moment: de regenvlaag op de speedboot.

Sehr empfehlenswerter Ausflug. Der Guide Joel war super. Er hat viel interessantes über die Dominikanische Republik erzählt. Die Plantage am Morgen war sehr interessant. Die Isla Cayo Levantado ist ehrlich gesagt ganz schön runter gekommen. Da ist Saona sehenswerter, auch wenn auf der Cayo Levantado weniger los war. Der Nationalpark mit den Mangroven und der Höhle war ein absolutes Highlight.

This was advertised as the Tui rep personal favorite. My experience was awful. 8 hour tour was actually 15 hours. Most time spent transferring and traveling. Guide was knowledgeable but with Spanish German French and English in the group was incredibly difficult to follow as he moved between translations. Initial transfer from bayahibe to punta cana saw 12 people in a minibus crammed in for over an hour. Very uncomfortable. Overall a very poor experience for the £145 paid. Waste of money.

The guide (Martin) was fantastic. Lots of knowledge and energy throughout the whole day. The driver and staff on the boat were also friendly and helpful. It was a long day though with lots of time spent on the coach and before that the transfer (4 hours each way from our hotel in Dominicus made the whole day 15hrs!). The TUI rep also hasn’t shown up at our hotel all week so confirming the trip was difficult.

Guide musste in der Gruppe 5 Sprachen bedienen, daher kaum deutsche Infos. Bus war mangelhaft, Lautsprecher kaputt. Pausen fanden nur an Orten statt, wo etwas gekauft werden sollte. Herrliche Orte und Landschaften aber kein TUI Niveau. Preis Leistung stehen in keinem Verhältnis

Min vurdering på guide går på den lokale guide., Daniel. Han var bare god. Der var en repræsentant med fra Tui, ved ikke hvad hun hed, da hun ikke præsenteret sig og kun henvendte sig til få deltagere. Ved ikke hvad hendes funktion var, udover at drikke rom.. Set var Daniel som havde styr på hele gruppen hele tiden

Punkt 1. Wir sind mit klaren Vorstellungen hier zu TUI ins Hotel gegangen. Wir wollten nach Samana und dort die schönen bunten Häuser sehen und mit offenen LKWs durch die Landschaft fahren (wie vor 6 Jahren). Uns wurde das angedreht. Nicht eine Sache von dem was wir wollten haben wir gesehen. Das ganze ähnelte sehr einer Verkaufsfahrt. Überall wurde was zum Kauf angedreht. Hier geht nicht alles rein. Eine offizielle Beschwerde geht noch raus. Wir fühlen uns betrogen.

Der Ausflug war super . Sehr guter Reiseleiter . Das Essen war unterer Durchschnitt . Was aber gar nicht ging , war das 3 Reiseleiterinen von der TUI dabei waren , die gerade Urlaub machen. Die 3 waren total betrunken , waren immer zu spät bei der Abfahrt im Boot oder Bus und wenn man diese darauf angesprochen hat , war die Antwort: wir sollten mehr chillen , weil wir sind im Urlaub . Ich frage mich wie die ihren Job machen . Wie die sich aufgeführt haben , Wahnsinn !!!

hele mooie toer , ook vanuit de bus kun dorpjes bekijken. bacardi eiland was super, leuk palmen en witte stranden was het die dag geen zwemweer. natuurgebied wonder mooi goede chaufeur maar bus was niet echt hygienisch veel schimmel rubbers van de ramen , ramen niet schoon. licht ontbijt bestond uit 1 droog broodje kaas of iets van leverachtig vlees en flesje water in de bus na een bezoek aan een veel te dure souveniers winkel. reisleiding was niet te verstaan door microfoon te dicht in mond

Pick up on time. Small coach but full. Enough stops through the day for the toilet etc Small sandwich ( not great) at a shop en route. Stopped and walked up a hill to a swing. Speed boat over to the island, island is lovely Received 2 vouchers for a drink also purchased a pineapple with a drink. Heksenberg, een ramp, er is niets dat overeenkomt met de beschrijving en foto's. Het proeven van de chocolade zou leuk zijn, ware het niet dat mensen je proberen over te halen om iets in de winkel te kopen. De broodjes in de winkel ernaast waren een lachertje. Natuurlijk proberen ze je alleen maar over te halen om daar iets te kopen of een dollar te geven. Het eiland en het park zijn op zich al prachtig, leuk om te zien, maar je moet natuurlijk wel weer iets op het eiland kopen, terugkomen en we

Der Ausflug wurde uns so angeboten das der immer Mittwoch nur in Deutscher Sprache stattfindet , das war leider nicht der Fall , es wurde auch englich geredet, daher wurde mehr in Englisch als auf Deutsch erklärt , wenn ich sowas anbiete , dann sollte man sich auch daran halten und nicht mit Englichsprechenden Gäste auffüllen damit der Bus voll wird

Die Vielseitigkeit dieses Ausflugs durch die verschiedenen Programmpunkte war besonders toll. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Der Besuch der Insel zum Baden hat uns überrascht, es war paradiesisch! Der Nationalpark war wunderschön und hatte etwas mystisches.

Dit was echt een prachtige excursie! Je ziet ongelooflijk prachtige dingen in het nationaal park en de gids was zeer goed op de hoogte, je kon hem vragen stellen over vanalles. Hij was een echte kenner. Absoluut een aanrader! Enkel de terugrit duurt zeer lang, maar voor zo'n mooie dag heb je dat wel over.

Wir hatten einen tollen Guide Daniel Er war sehr kompetent, sehr freundlich, einfach perfekt. Wir hatten ca 20 Minuten Dauerregen auf dem Boot und trotzdem war alles sehr entspannt und für uns nicht beängstigend. Danke nochmal an den Bootsführer!

This experience in total for two people cost £294 and it was a very long day (14 hours plus door to door). Whilst aspects were interesting, there was an unexpected trip to try cacao and Mamajuana which whilst tasty added to the length of the day. Only 50 minutes were spent on the Caya Levantado beach before lunch (away from the beach) and then we immediately left the island after that. The national park was interesting but overall the day felt like trying to cram too much into one trip.

Wij hebben de excursie aan zeer ondermaats ervaren en absoluut afwijkend van de veel te mooie advertentie. Het ontbijt is niet zoals beloofd op de berg, maar bij een souvenir winkel die je onnodig 2x bezoekt op een dag. Dit ontbijt was ook nog een warm broodje met smakeloze kaas of ham. De boottocht is abnormaal ruig en er worden onvoldoende reddingsvesten geleverd. Neem ook zeker drogen kleren mee, je gaat ze nodig hebben. De busreis aan het eind is veel te lang en ook nog zonder airco. Slecht!

À la réservation les indications n’étaient pas très claires sur les tarifs.. Nous n’avons pas fait tout ce qui était prévu sur la brochure. Le départ s’est fait avec une heure de ********** le matin ! Départ à 7h15 au lieu de 6h30 pour rejoindre un bus 10 minutes plus tard qu’on a attendu encore au moins 15 minutes… Le repas du midi était très peu qualitatif et peu en quantité. Seuls points positifs : les paysages et le guide qui était très bien.

Für 170€ war der Auflug ein Witz. Lediglich den Guide Daniel muss man positiv loben. Der erste Stopp im Dorf war gefühlt eine reine Verkaufsfahrt. Trinken gab es im Bus auch nicht, was man bei dem Preis mehr als erwarten kann. Das ‚Frühstück‘ (Burgerbrötchen+ eine Scheibe Käse und Schinken, ohne alles, war auch mehr als dürftig.

Unser Reiseleiter war super! Wir wollten mehr über das Land und die Bewohnern hier erfahren. Er hat es mehr als erfüllt! Er sprach richtig gut Deutsch und Englisch. Er war volle Lebensfreude. Er hat über das Land mit Liebe erzählt. Seine historische Kenntnisse waren auch top und interessant. Der Ausflug war ein Traum. Die Natur hier ist unbeschreiblich. Es ist ein must have für alle Turisten!

Der Kaffee-/Kakao-Umtrunk war eher eine Verkaufsveranstaltung, die man sich sparen kann. Leichtes Frühstück war etwas dürftig. Ansonsten war das ein ganz toller Ausflug, sehr empfehlenswert!

Een toffe uitstap naar mooie plaatsen. Los haitises en de mangroves errond waren prachtig. Echt een aanrader. De gids kon wel 4 talen, maar bracht het heel sec. Hij rammelde de info gewoon af en maakte verschillende (informatieve) fouten in de verschillende talen (bv. andere uren meegeven,...) Het was heel moeilijk te volgen omdat dit zo monotoon gebracht werd.

Das leichte Frühstück war 1 Burger Brötchen mit Wurst und Käse und 1 Flasche Wasser...sowas kann man nicht leichtes Frühstück nennen. Vorallem fand das Frühstück NICHT wie beschrieben auf dem Berg Montana redonda statt sondernan einer kleinen verkaufshalle. 2 getränkegutscheine auf der Insel ist auch ein wenig knapp für Getränke inklusive. Jetzt auch mal was positives...das Mittagessen war gut. Mit dem guide waren wir sehr zufrieden.

Ein etwas längerer Aufenthalt auf der Insel wäre schön gewesen. Als negativ bewerten wir die sehr lange Rückfahrt nach der Mangrovenfahrt ins Hotel. Wenn dazu noch, wie in unserem Fall, die Klimaanlage im Bus ausfällt wird es sehr anstrengend. Es war eine gelungene Tour und man sieht sehr viel. Lob an den Guide Martin.

Die Ziele des Ausfluges sind sehr sehenswert und wunderschön. Caya Levantade war leider extrem verschmutzt, überall im Boden waren Trinkhalme, Becher und Colaflaschen der Vorbesucher. Man musste erst mal um die Liegen aufräumen, um nicht auf alles treten zu müssen. Der Reisebus war sehr alt und nicht gereinigt. Regler für die Lüftungsöffnungen der Klima waren z. T. ausgebrochen, man konnte den offenen Luftstrom über den Sitzen nicht regeln. Auf dem Gang im Bus standen Schrauben aus dem Boden.

- bijna 5u lang in een bus en dan nog eens 2u in de boot van en naar Bacardi Island - korte tocht door mangrooves met weinig uitleg van de gids - bijna geen tijd in de taino grot en zeer weinig uitleg van de gids (heeft zelfs de borden die er stonden niet toegelicht…)

Toller Ausflug mit vielen tollen Stopps, aber leider viel zu überteuert. Wir haben 170€/Person bezahlt. Ein Monatslohn als Servicekraft im Hotel beträgt ca. 200$ - zum Vergleich. Das Essen und der Bus/ Schnellboot waren ok, aber keineswegs luxuriös. Alle Dienstleister unterwegs waren zusätzlich noch auf Trinkgeld aus. Bezahlt TUI die Dienstleister vor Ort so schlecht??? Wohin fließt das Geld ???

Ein sehr schöner Ausflug. Ein etwas straffes Programm. Ein langer Tag. Genug zu trinken, vorallem auch Wasser. Die Bootsfahrt ist nicht so geeignet für Rückenprobleme. Und achtung, bei der überfahrt kanns auch mal eine ungewollte Dusche geben, je nach Wellengang. Unser Guide, Martin war super. 3 sprachig . Deutsch, Englisch und Franz. Der arme musste viel schwatzen ??.Wunderschön war dass wir auch noch Delfine gesehn haben auf dem Weg zum Nationalpark. Wunderbar.

Een leuke 3 in 1 excursie, de gids is vriendelijk en geeft veel info. Het is wel een lange dag, maar zeker waar voor je geld. Je zit totaal best wat uur in het busje maar omdat je stopt op bepaalde plekken en ook nog een groot gedeelte met de boot gaat merk je het niet echt. Je krijgt regelmatig drinken, lunch is prima op het strand en de tijd ook. Je bent ong 1,5 uur op Bacardi Island wat voldoende is. Wij raden zeker de lokale Coco Loco en Pina Colada aan.

Yes this trip was a long day, out for 13 hour but we saw a lot in 1 day, the 3 parts of the trip were all brilliant and the guide was very informative. If you want to see the real Dominican Republic then I would definitely recommend this trip

Eigentlich war der Ausflug wunderschön, aber zum einen hatte sich das ganze zu einer Verkaufsfahrt entwickelt,und zum anderen wurde uns von ihrer Mitarbeiterin ein falscher Preis genannt. Für 300€(2 Personen)wurde uns dieser Ausflug angeboten und bezahlt haben wir 340€!!!! Der Wechselkurs wurde von der Verkäuferin nicht berücksichtigt. Sehr schade!

Die erste Station hatte eine wunderbare Aussicht,es gab Photopoints wie Schaukeln und Hängematten. Die zweite Station, die Insel, war sehr schön. Ein traumhafter Strand.Aber der Aufenthalt zum Sonnen Betrug nur 90min ,das Essen dort war lecker und ausreichend. Dann ging's es weiter mit dem Boot zum Nationalpark,vom Boot aus sahen wir einige Vögel und hingen einmal an Land um nach ein paar Gehminuten die Höhle zu erreichen. Negativ wir saßen von 12 Stunden,mindestens 5 Std im Bus

We loved to whole day, it was a long day to be fair but well worth it. The guide and team did an amazing job of keeping things going ddespite the bus breaking down and a fallen branch blocking the path up to the mountain. They continued and didn't cut the rest of the day to make up time either, so we still got our time as normal. All the activities was amazing.

Lovely trip. Guide was good. Mountain views beautiful. Loved the swings. Mangroves relaxing and peaceful. Plenty to eat and drink. Long day but worth it. Beach was nice,sellers were OK, no hassle. Souvenir shop,very expensive. 2 different stop times,morning then afternoon, prices had doubled for a bag of crisps when we stopped in afternoon.

The whole trip was excellent. It's not 8 hours though. It's nearer 12 hours. Our guide was brilliant and very knowledgeable giving us a lot of information about the island and people throughout the day. We loved every minute. The boat trip through the mangroves was absolutely amazing and the highlight of the day for us.

This trip cannot be advertised as an 8hour day, we were out in total for 13.5hrs. The hotel pick ups were too long, we spent 1.5hrs on the bus before the day even started just picking people up. If you like beautiful scenery, wildlife & lots of information on the history/culture of RD then you’ll love this trip.

Geweldige excursie waar je veel mooie sites bezoekt en geweldige ervaringen opdoet. Minpuntje is dat je veel tijd aan vervoer van ene naar andere activiteit spendeert, maar kan niet verholpen worden want de te bezoeken sites liggen ook ver uit elkaar. Een dikke aanrader in elk geval

Ein toller Ausflug, ging den ganzen Tag von 7 bis 20uhr und es hat sich alles gelohnt. 3 Erlebnisse an einem Tag. Service war top alles hat pünktlich geklappt, alle Mitarbeiter waren mega lieb und ein großes Lob an Daniel, sehr motiviert und hat alles gut erklärt. Der Strand in Cayo Levantado war atemberaubend, sowas schönes,schöner als in bavaro oder saona! Man konnte viel sehen heute und was uns sehr gefallen hat war mit dem speedboot durch den Nationalpark zu fahren. Lohnt sich alles!

War der beste Ausflug den wir gemacht haben! Guide war sehr nett und hat viel interessante Dinge erzählt und gezeigt. Die Stopps sind wunderschön, wenn man die Natur mag. Man kommt voll auf seine kosten! Der Badestopp war super, da wir da alleine als Gruppe waren. Die Rückfahrt mit dem Bus ist sehr zäh und es ist ein langer Tag, aber absolute Empfehlung!

We really enjoyed the visit to the mountain top and the boat excursion around Los Haitises through the mangroves and going into the cave, however the part of the trip to Bacardi Island was a bit dull by comparison…lounging on a beach for 2 hours with lots of beach sellers pestering you and then trying upsell cocktails at the bar when the excursion is already very expensive. Plus we’d done the snorkelling trip a few days before were the cocktails in coconuts were included with no upsell.
