This glass bottom-catamaran cruise along La Palma's west coast takes you to spots that are almost impossible to reach by land. We'll sail into the Bonita Cave and see landmarks along the way. What's more, there's a chance to spot dolphins and catch sight of the recently erupted Cumbre Vieja volcano, too.The fun kicks off when the Fancy II sails from Tazacorte harbour and heads northwards past volcanic cliffs with drops of more than 200 metres. We'll stop at the Bonita Cave – a large grotto with two mouths. Centuries ago, locals would hide here from pirates. The catamaran will sail right into the cave. Next up is Poris de Candelaria, where a few fishermen's huts have been built at the foot of cliffs.We'll keep on sailing, passing the Colorada Cave and Poris de Puntagorda. With luck, we'll spot pods of dolphins and whales, which roam freely in La Palma's Atlantic waters.

Communication about pick up. Had a taxi car which had issues with seat belts on way there. Had mini bus on way back which was better. Boat was good. A bit crowded. Good it had a toilet. Staff very friendly and helpful.

The experience seeing interesting parts of the coast line incl. the new vulcan site from the sea was pretty good. In the second part we have been lucky to see a school of dolphins and 3 whales, a really exciting experience. The guide tried to explain the geology of La Palma and the wildlife to us, however the accoustic on board has been bad. A loudspeaker system would help. Some visitors on board got seasick, but got attended with care.

Start mit Sicherheitseinweisung super, Fahrt zu den Klippen und Hölen super, Softdrinks leider in Einweg Plastikbecher serviert, wovon einige durch den Wind im Meer landeten, sehr schlecht, Fahrt fortgesetzt und eine Grindwal-Schule gefunden, unbeschreiblich schön, das Boot mit seinen unter Wasser liegenden Aussichtsfenstern, super. Ansonsten sehr schöner Ausflug wie beschrieben.

Die Bootsfahrt war für mich ausgesprochen amüsant. Wir hatten recht hohen Wellengang, sodass wir uns gut festhalten mussten - wer einen empfindlichen Magen hat, sollte dies beachten. Die Beobachtung von Delfinen auf hoher See war für mich ein Highlight, aber die Schmugglerbucht und der Blick auf den Tajogaite waren auch äußerst sehenswert. Kleiner Wehmutstropfen war, dass die Führung des Guides auf Englisch nicht zu hören war. Verbesserungsvorschlag: Bessere Abstimmung mit dem Bustransfer.

Wir hatten nicht, wie erwartet, eine deutsche Reiseleitung…… nur Dänen, Reiseleitung nur dänisch und sie wollte uns nicht helfen……der Guide an Bord war sehr nett und bemüht, konnte nur englisch mir Aktzent. Schiffstour war wohl kürzer als erwartet, wir mussten einen langen Zeitraum auf den Busfahrer warten….. Zu wenig Zeit und zu wenig Geduld bei den Delfinen…. Das große Lavastück wurde nicht mit dem Boot besucht. Der Preis ist überteuert, können wir nicht weiter empfehlen, selbst org macht sinn

Wir haben die Bootstour mit Transfer gebucht und wurden nicht wie vereinbart abgeholt. Eine rechtzeitige Kontaktaufnahme konnte nicht helfen. Die Leistung wurde nicht erbracht.

Though I would recommend this excursion I think it’s important to note that this excursion is very dependent on seeing the wildlife advertised. Without this experience the trip is average at best. The boats show images of all whale varieties, not sure you will ever see a Blue whale, the crew also ********** t-shirts with turtles on them again very unlikely that patrons will ever sea them unless you visit an aquarium.

We only saw 2 dolphins at a distance, but there is no guarantee with mother nature. Saw lots of flying fish, and we went into a cave which was fantastic, saw lots of settlements along the coast line which was unexpected and quite unique. This was a lovely trip out in the Atlantic, sea was calm, but a few people were sea sick. Drinks and snacks available on board, and they do have a toilet which, would be advisable to use as we could not find one in the port. Very enjoyable trip.

Coach was fine though on arrival at the port very little guidance was given as to which boat was ours, the guide just vaguely pointed & said it’s the blue boat, but didn’t tell everybody so that you each had to go & ask him or just follow everyone. The description of the trip said the boat “goes right into the cave” - well it doesn’t! Saw dolphins which was amazing. Return coach was 30 mins late, it was very hot & there was nowhere to sit whilst waiting. So not overly impressed.

De bootreis was geweldig, we hebben dolfijnen en vliegvissen gezien. Ook werden er vissen gevoerd bij de kliffen en ging de boot in 1 van de grotten naar binnen. Het enige minpunt was dat er te weinig plaatsen waren op de terugweg naar het hotel( transfer) daardoor moesten er eerst 2 andere personen achterblijven en uiteindelijk waren wij de pineut. Gelukkig werd er snel een taxi geregeld en konden we terug naar het hotel.

I recently went on a boat trip and overall had a good time. The views were beautiful, especially as we cruised past the coastline and watched the dolphins. It was definitely a highlight of the experience. The crew were friendly and the boat itself was clean and well-maintained. My only real criticism is the limited drink selection. It would’ve been nice to have more variety and something a bit more refreshing and maybe some snacks to purchase. Still, it was a lovely way to spend the day.

We live by the sea and often I go out on a boat weekly. I get that sometimes fish sea life isn’t always there. But to charge £300 for basically a boring 3/4hours going in a circle Family of 4 no family price and to charge 5 year old for this experience is madness. And then to charge a 15year old as an adult is Ludacris. We went into a cave for a whole 2mins. Stopped one to view fish in the glass bottom, the glass bottom was rammed. I enjoyed the brief tour we had at the start where one of the staff members gave us more information about what we were sailing past along the coast. We particularly enjoyed entering the cave on the boat. Perhaps it would have been good to have been told just how cold it would be out at sea in advance. I had asked beforehand as I knew it can be windy, but I wasn’t expecting it to be quite that cold. The staff members were wearing coats and trousers for reference. Overall though, it was fun!

It was incredible seeing dolphins swimming beside us! I’ve never seen dolphins in the wild and I’m 53 years old! Amazing experience! The trip was 2.5 hours and was fantastic. The cave was really unique and also seeing the recent volcano that erupted and the lava flows from the ocean was incredible. I wish I could have heard the talk though on the boat, the lovely guy was trying to speak loudly over the sound of the boat, but hard to hear, so missed a lot of facts. Also no safety brief!

Reiseleitung hatte uns mitgeteilt, dass es einen richtigen Ausflug mit deutsch sprachigen Begleitung/Guide sein wird. Stattdessen kam ein PKW mit einem Fahren der nur spanisch könnte. Er fuhr uns stillschweigend ca. 40 min. zum Fancy Boot, lud am Hafen ab. Dort sind wir selbst zur Boot-Kasse hingegangen, fragten nach, ob wir vor Ort richtig sind, mussten 40 Minuten auf die Abfahrt warten. Die Bootfahrt dauerte ca. 2,5 Stunden ohne Speisen. 40 min Rückfahrt. Kostenpunkt 82€ pro Person!!!

Overall an enjoyable experience and we saw pilot whales so very happy! Transfer was good after long delayed start waiting for one person who didn't show. There had been some confusion with emails sent stating the trip was initially cancelled , then reinstated. There was no safety talk on boat. The young guide was very personable and fluent but spoke extremely rapidly so difficult to understand at times.

Having been on this excursion in May of this year, we were keen to repeat but, we feel that the trip boat should not have sailed due to the heavy seas resulting approximately 25% of passengers suffering sea sickness, Also the boat was unable to get close to the cave and Poris de Candelaria. explanation by crew members about scene was not addressed so hat not all all passengers were able to sea or hear

Trip was well organised and the guides on the boat were excellent. The transfer was on time and very comfy. The boat had plenty of seating and great views. Got to see two whales and watch the guides rescue 23 sea birds, which was great fun.

Die Bootstour war super – die Mannschaft war sehr motiviert – sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Der Umgang mit den Delfinen und Walen war vorbildlich. Die Tiere kamen zu uns und wurden nicht gejagt. Unterwegs wurden kleine Möwen in Seenot eingesammelt - das fand ich super. Einige Gäste wurden seekrank - auch hier hat sich die Crew lieb gekümmert. Zusammenfassung: sehr empfehlenswert!

Renata said look for Flipper at the port not Fancy. Stood in the wrong queue. By the time redirected all downstairs seats were gone and getting upstairs was difficult at my age. We had minimal commentary and were not told to go down when the glass observation section was open to see the fish. By the time we realised and struggled down they were closing it. Having looked at the Flipper info we expected a commentary from a marine biologist. Rocking boat on top - inferior view of dolphins. Shame

Meer dan een uur wachten aan ophaalpunt H10 was niet leuk door miscommunicatie van Tui. Maar alles werd goedgemaakt door de mooie unieke ervaring van de oceaantrip. De gids was een jonge wat nonchalante jonge dame met weinig informatie. Op het einde werd er niet echt gevaren voorbij de lavastroom van 3 jaar geleden. De dolfijnen zien was uniek mooi, het weer was zalig. De oceaan was ‘amazing’. Bedankt voor de mooie dag.

De trip op zichzelf mooi maar de service minder verkeerde voorlichting over eten en drinken moest zelf uitzoeken welke boot we moesten hebben terugweg moesten we 3 kwartier wachten op bus niet netjes omdat bekend was hoelaat we in de haven zouden zijn

De boot vertrok een uur later dan gepland, dat was minder maar goed dat zal toeval zijn geweest? Hele leuke boottocht, ruim 40 km gevaren, leuke dingen gezien, dorpjes in de rotsen en leuke grot. Een hamerhaai gezien, 3 soorten dolfijnen en een walvis. Mooi uitzicht op de verwoesting en de nieuwe vulkaan Tajogaite. Dure trip maar wel geld waard

Boot war alles andere als geräuscharm: man verstand den Guide kaum, außerdem für die empfindlichen Wale sicher nicht gut (es wurden auch keine gesichtet). Spektakulärer als die Delfine, die erst kurz vor Schluss der Fahrt gesichtet werden konnten, war, dass 50% der Gäste seekrank war und sich übergeben musste. Gut, wenn sie die von der Crew ausgeteilten Beutel getroffen haben!! Weniger schön war, dass einige sich über die Reling übergeben haben - die unten sitzenden Gäste wurden fast getroffen.

I enjoyed the whole day. The bus transfer although quite long was smooth and the bus driver was excellent. We all had a thrilling boat trip exploring the south west coastline and seeing pilot whales and Bottlenose dolphins.

Due to the extra hotel pick up on the other side of Palma the transfer took 40min longer than expected. This meant it felt like most of the day on the coach. On the boat there was no information about the whales and other things to see so it got boring. They also didn't explain the underwater viewing in advance so we didn't know for the few minutes of the tour with whales where to go. There was no guide on the bus. When we arrived at the harbour we had no idea where to go. Eventually someone asked what happens now? To be told go to the boat to board. We knew there would be no food but the drinks were scraps of coke or water in minute cups. Regretfully the sea was rough which meant many passengers were ill, including me. They made the best attempt to find dolphins & whales & we eventually did. Many to ill to appreciate.

The boat was fantastic - lots of seating and great views above and under the water line! We didn't see dolphins but saw at least 20 Pilot whales in separate groups. The crew were really friendly and informative about what we were seeing and supplied soft drinks too. The only negative was the transfer from the resort, because the driver of the minibus didn't appear to know where the port was and we spent time driving around in circles and asking locals where it was!

Yes was a good experience to see pilot whales and visit costal villages. However the tour could have been more informative about travel on way to boat and stop to try other things that happen on and way back. 2hours travel to boat 2hours back to hotel. I like to be given information about where I'm at and maybe sample of local foods or produce. The boat trip was good however to and throw was longwinded and needed to try improving with other things involved even a stop just to sample or try local

Very efficient pick-up, and great scenic journey past the new volcano and across the lava fields, which was a tour in itself. The boat trip was fantastic. Seeing some of the island from a different perspective was terrific, and the boat crew and marine experts were really friendly and helpful. It took us a while to get used to the motion of the boat as it was a bit choppy at times, but we soon found our sea legs. The icing on the cake was we saw some pilot whales! Great day out!

It was hard to hear the guide speaking and with the boat being a double deck they had to say it twice, it would be better if there was a PA system on board. Plenty of knowledge from the guide and we got to see the whales which was amazing.

Alles in allem war es eine schöne Tour. Ein Nachteil, es wurde nur spanisch gesprochen, obwohl uns versichert wurde das auch deutsch gesprochen wird.

Der Guide auf dem Katamaran sprach ein undeutliches Englisch. Bier sollte gratis sein, was nicht der Fall war. Statt 2 Höhlen wurde nur eine kurz gezeigt.
