This highly acclaimed zoological park replaces cages and bars with beautifully designed enclosures filled with greenery, rivers and exotic temples. This entrance ticket lets you explore at your own pace, and you choose to book with the park's lunch menu included, too.See everything from tigers and cheeky chimps, to gorillas, meerkats and reptiles. Don't miss the leaping monkeys on Lemur Island and some really unusual creatures such as the Komodo dragon and pygmy hippos. There are special shows and night time opening mid-summer, where you get to see nocturnal creatures come to life – a really unusual thing to witness. It's compact and located just 10 minutes' walk from the train station. It does away with traditional cages, so you can get centimetres from the creatures with nothing in between apart from almost invisible glass barriers.Bioparc Fuengirola is also extremely active in conservation and educational work and is involved in several important breeding programmes designed to help the survival of endangered species. It's not just for families - the park attracts thousands of mature visitors and is perfectly accessible for wheelchairs and the less mobile.

The animals were fantastic to see, although it would have been a great help if we had been given a map of the park, so we could find ourselves around easier. Great restaurant, when we found it! The Virtual Deep-sea Dive Experience was an added bonus. It was fantastic and well worth the extra 5 euros!

The bioparc was amazing as a family we really enjoyed it. The entrance fee with the food was amazing value I would recommend paying the extra for the lunch as saves you money in the long run. The zoo it's self is not huge but it is big enough. I would recommend watching the shows and feeding talks as it makes the day longer. As a family of 4 we stayed at the zoo for 4 hours.

Lovely park really easy to get to. You get closer to the animals than a lot of other parks and saw some we hadn’t seen before. Easy to get around and really varied areas.

Sign posted to areas. Upfront tiimes for guides meetings. Rather than finding them on your way around and the gates closed.

This zoo is amazing. The habitats were stunning and the animals were very well looked after. From the moment you enter the zoo, you really don't realise that you're actually still in the middle of a bustling city. Great value for money. The only thing I would say, is that the zoo could do with a few more cafes dotted around - especially when it's hot. Having said that, there were plenty of vending machines around the place.

Hele mooie dierentuin in het centrum van Fuengirola. Toch een mooie korting gekregen via Tui want de prijs is redelijk hoog voor deze hele kleine zoo. Maar het is de moeite waard om deze te bezoeken.

The rep Sean told us there were definitely Zebras there....not a zebra in sight, before booking we mentioned it's a shame there weren't any Zebras, but Sean assured us there actually was, even though not advertised on website. It's pretty small and for the price paid didn't feel worthwhile.

A lovely little zoo. It's quite surprising to walkdown the streets and there suddenly be a zoo. A lovely collections of animals given size of the zoo. Animals enclosures are a good size, they looked happy which can be said for all zoos in Europe. Easy booking, easy arrival. Was slightly surprised when ushered into a corner to have a photo taken on arrival but it was a lovely way to remember our day. Would highly recommend to animals lovers or families wanting a great day out!

Absolutely lovely place to visit. Beautiful setting..perfect for keeping kids nice and cool as most of it is in the shade. Animals really close up. Kids park very good and a nice little touch having family photos done at the start of the experience
