An afternoon away from the skyscrapers and big city life. On this cultural tour, you'll enjoy a river cruise on a longtail boat along the bustling river and backwaters of Bangkok. Watch as people go about their life on the klongs and then visit Wat Arun – the vast riverside Temple of Dawn.The canals – or klongs – in the historic Thonburi district are heaving with locals in the afternoon. You'll drift slowly along the Chao Phraya River so you can take in the sights as well as lush vegetation long-gone from the centre.After the cruise, you'll dock near Wat Arun to visit this impressive temple. The porcelain encrusted Khmer-style central prang is, at 80 metres, one of the most famous landmarks in the Bangkok skyline. You'll can stroll the grounds, admiring the vast yakshas – temple guardian statues – and the frescoed and flower-filled prayer halls.

Haben unser Treffpunkthotel 1,5 h mit einem sehr engagierten Taxifahrer und Hotelmitarbeiter doch noch gefunden. Dieses hatte inzwischen einen neuen Namen, der auf dem Buchungsticket nicht aktualisiert wurde ! Der Ausflug für sich war schön, leider war unser Guide auch nicht so gesprächig was Kultur und Geschichte betrifft.

Alles top! Abholung, Tour, Transport etc. Das einzige, wir haben den Guide etwas schlecht verstanden. Die Detschkenntnisse und/bzw die Aussprache waren problematisch. Unser Tui Betreuer im Hotel Danai dagegen war wirklich top uns super lieb.

Mr. T was an exceptional guide—knowledgeable, caring, and full of enthusiasm for Bangkok’s history. Our visit to Wat Arun was magical, with plenty of time to admire its grandeur. The long-tail boat ride through the canals was unforgettable, enriched by his insights into the area’s past and present. We felt looked after every step of the way and thoroughly enjoyed the day. Der Ausflug war sehr schön und hat uns einen kleinen Einblick in die Welt abseits der vielen Hochhäuser gezeigt. Der Guide war sehr nett und hat uns alles gut verständlich auf Deutsch erklärt.

Our guide was so helpful, informative and caring for our well being getting in and out of boat, crossing streets, going up and down steps. We really enjoyed his personality. And greatly last stop for mango sticky rice.

Sehr interessante Tour! Wenn man gerne mit einem Boot fährt ideal. Der Guide war sehr engagiert und konnte sehr gut deutsch! Alles in allem ein schöner Nachmittag!

Ich war der einzige Gast, also eine Privattour sozusagen. Abholung pünktlich, der Guide war super freundlich und kompetent und konnte gut deutsch . Alles in allem kann ich diese 2.5 bis 3 stündige tour sehr empfehlen. Besonders für familien mit Kindern ist die Fahrt auf dem Kanal mit dem longtailboat ein Erlebnis.

Mitarbeiter war teilweise schwer zu verstehen. Sobald mehr als zwei Leute an der Tour teilgenommen hätten, wäre es schwierig geworden. Es war sonst: schön, entspannt, Wasser stand bereit, freundlich.

Das war ein richtig schöne Tour zuerst durch den Wat Arun Tempel und anschließend mir dem Longtail-Boot durch die Kanäle. Total empfehlenswert!

The whole trip was very interesting and loved being in a small group. Our drop off and pick up transport during the trip went like clockwork. Very impressed with the organisation. The entry and exit from the longboat was a bit difficult due to the obvious swell of the water and one lady in our group ended up falling on her knee but she was seen by medical staff and recovered well.

Die Kanalfahrt war absolut nicht sehenswert - besonders, wenn man wie wir vorher eine Tour zu den schwimmenden Märkten gebucht hatte. Der Kanal ist dreckig, es fahren nur motorisierte Long-Boote, die Krach machen und die Abgase stinken. Zu Beginn und am Ende der Tour muss man durch eine Schleuse, was ziemlich lange dauert. Schön war der Abschuss im Wat Arun - der ist sehenswert.

Die Guide war pünktlich und freundlich, sprach aber sehr schlecht deutsch. Es gab kaum Informationen, Nachfragen hat sie nicht verstanden. Schade. War sonst ein guter Ausflug.

Wir, d.h. meine 2 Kinder (7 und 11) hatten einen sehr schönen Ausflug mit einem sehr netten Guide. Die Kanaltour war sehr interessant und hat Bangkok von einer anderen Seite gezeigt. Der Tempel Wat Arun war sehr beeindruckend und außergewöhnlich. Insgesamt ein tolles Programm für einen halben Tag! Danach ist man auch gut erledigt.
