We felt this tour was over priced and the boat that took us to the lagoon looked well past its best. However the lagoon was great, the fire show was good but sadly some folk just walk right to the front and block the views for others, staff don't do anything about this.

The experience overall was good, a lot of waiting around until it went dark & time to go out on the boats. Although the actual luminous lagoon wasn't quite what we expected as far as it wasn't glowing blue & the water had to be agitated to give any form of glow, hence you had to swim in it to glow up. safety was OK by Jamaican standards but the possibility of been hit by another boat or left in the lagoon was quite high by UK standards. The fire show wasn't much at all & not really worth it.

A so called natural phenomenon is created by throwing dangerous chemicals into the lagoon and fulling people with it. Please put an immediate stop to this human hazard and environmental catastrophe. Despite the promise with original price no food or drink is offered and everything must be purchased. The boat itself is overcrowded without any safety measures in place. Very long wait to get on boat and only about 10 minutes activity when you are brought back.

Nicht zu empfehlen! Abzocke, überhaupt nicht der Beschreibung entsprechend. Man erfährt nichts über die Geschichte der Lagune. Eine regelrechte Schnellabfertigung. Haben die Tour extra über die TUI -App gebucht um sicher zu gehen, aber schade .., selbst da kann man sich nicht mehr drauf verlassen. Wir möchten bitte unser Geld zurück…Schade um die schöne Urlaubszeit…lasst euch nicht verarschen ..wir kommen nicht wieder. Beste Grüße Familie Drewes und Familie Burghardt

Including the transfer took less than 90 minutes. First boat out but fire show was almost finished by the time we got back. A lot of jelly fish so limited swim time and very uncomfortable. Very rushed.

Our driver was on time and explained the process once we arrived in Falmouth. A nice bar/restaurant with either a rum or fruit punch. Short wait to be called for boarding. Chip (Captain) and Winston (crew) were friendly and fun & very safety conscious. Chip gave loads of information about the lagoon, life jackets given for swimmers. A great experience.

It wasn’t as bright as the pictures made out. You could see the effect and it was nice, but I think it’s a touch oversold. Maybe the really bright events are rarer, and it can be variable. However, the crew on the boat were fun, the driver of the coach was sound, and seeing the damage to the island first hand, did put a dampener on the night, for the cost to a beautiful island and its beautiful people

The lagoon was nice but not as bright as expected. been to previous lagoons much brighter. Also, the time spent in the water was roughly 15 minutes and paying that much money for such a small amount of time is a lot. Aside from that, I would recommend it to other people w/ the exception of our drive . Our driver was terrible! It seemed the only speed that he knew how to go was extra fast and we felt every bump every jump. He was awful we couldn’t even eat dinner after due to motion sickness.

Our pick up was over an hour late and due to us being picked up from a hotel we had no access too we had no access to food or drinks and had gone without any drinks for over 2 hrs due to arranging things around our pick up time. When reaching the lagoon we were dropped at the entrance and nothing was explained to us by our driver he just left us there. We didnt see the lagoon luminite as its advertised too. It was a very disappointing experience. Overall within 2 hrs we were back at our hotel.

It was a great experience and we learnt a lot about what makes the water luminous as well as why some water parts of the lagoon was warm and why some parts were cold. The men doing the tour were really funny and made the trip quite entertaining, I think one of the Captain’s names was Chip but I could be wrong. It would have been nice to have more time out there to swim and in slightly deeper waters but for non-confident swimmers or teenagers I could see this being quite ideal as you could stand.

Of you're looking for a 3 hour party catamaran with DJ, free bar and adult entertainment then this would be a hit. If however your looking for an evening cruise, forget it. Tui not interested in the feedback, more happy to sell the excursion. 5 mins in the Lagoon was great to see

Abholung: Bus kam mit 30 Minuten Verspätung; vor Ort mussten wir 45 Minuten auf das Boot warten; blaue Lagune gab es nicht, da man nur auf dem Meer schwimmen konnte; nach 45 Minuten war die Bootstour, im überfüllten Boot beendet; anschließend sollte man in dem Ausflugslokal zwei Stunden warten, bis zur Rückfahrt ins Hotel; der Fahrer, der uns zurück brachte, war total zugekifft und stellte ein Sicherheitsrisiko im Straßenverkehr dar; Fazit: Wir fühlten uns während der gesamten Tour verarscht!

Staff were lovely, driver was good and safe and the tour guides were lovely and helpful and gave us life jackets if we wanted one. Some people got in the water and others didn't but once in the water it felt like we were being bitten alive and that was after we covered ourselves in bug spray. We thought there would be more of a glow and it was good when you moved about loads but I don't think it was worth the $68pp we spent.

Overall it was good but perhaps a tiny bit underwhelming; we didn’t get the dinner package as our resort was all inclusive so there was quite a bit of waiting around for it to get dark and get going. It would have been better if we had understood the timings a bit more and how the excursion would run and/or be picked up later if not having the dinner package. The photographs were also a little underwhelming but better than anything on a standard phone for example so you kind of had to buy them.

booked for Saturday night , sat in hotel lobby for 1.5 hrs coach never turned up, no phone number for tui rep. managed to rearrange for Sunday night. driver stopped at nasty shop telling us we NEEDED water shoes otherwise can't do activity. 57 Dollars later for 5 shoes got to luminous lagoon didn't need them .

Positives- driver to the lagoon from hotel was superb. Informative, safe and careful driver Beautiful location Magical Saw the sunset over the lagoon as in first boat Negatives Staff at lagoon. Rushed us to do waiver as boat was waiting for us. Rude to daughter wouldn’t allow her to use bathroom before hand. No professionak photographer on boat ( not TUIs fault) but would have made experience so much better having it captured.

More than 30mins late for the collection after being told to get there earlier due to a rescheduled earlier time. Far too long waiting around doing nothing. Should be collected a lot later. Told it was a 2-4 experience when it took over 5 1/2 hrs to get back. Lagoon experience only lasted for 30minutes of that 5 1/2 hrs. Should provide some sort of food, given the time taken until 9:30/10pm to return (from 4pm collect)

We were picked up at 6pm and taken to the venue. No one told us where to go apart from get a punch from the bar. We then sat for an hour and a half till it was time to get on the boat. After 2 minutes we arrived at swim point. We were expecting as the picture shows a blue lagoon not that we had to get in the water and swim to get a weak white glow. One of our group doesn't swim so it was a waste of money for him. We also were only on boat for 4o minutes, waste of time and money. Refund wanted.

Positives - tour guide on the boat was amazing and funny. Kept everyone engaged throughout the journey and very informative. Fire show was also amazing, get seats at the back fence. Negatives - jellyfish in the water so be careful, 2 people got stung but they do not hurt as only small. Do not let this put you off getting in as it is an amazing experience just be careful of any allergies or low pain tolerances. They have spray on board the boat to help with the stings.

The guide left us at some destination. We only had the driver. Got there too early. No communication regarding this trip. We were told that we would be back by 20.00hrs by our rep. Our names weren't on the list for the driver to pick up,he phoned some office who take us anywhere even though I'd shown him my booking with tui.he was the worst driver I've ever had too close to vehicles in front,too fast and took unnecessary risks with 15 passengers on who he'd never met before.name was shane and if he worked for me I'd sack him but then again he wouldn't have worked for me in the 1st place and to be honest tui haven't been thr best with booking anyway jet 2 next year!!

The driver Leroy was fab, it's a decent journey so be prepared! (From Lucea approx 1hr 20 mins each way) The tour itself was incredible, the crew and the experience was amazing and I'm so glad I did it. (If you're not prepared to swim, then you're really not going to experience the full effect - when you move in the water it 'glows') Afterwards a guy does The limbo/fire show which was enjoyable and nice way to end the eve (about 20 mins) Pick up 16:25 - drop off 22:00, so eat/plan food before!

Het was minder spectaculair als verwacht, op andere boten ging fotograaf mee, bij ons niet, dus niet echt foto’s van. Anders zekers gekocht. Op foto mooier dan in het echt. Vuurshow stelt niets voor, begint al voor je van boot bent en je hebt kunnen afdrogen. En niet goed te zien. Het is rond etenstijd maar onduidelijk of je tijd hebt om daar te eten of niet. Voor ophaal tijd konden wij niet eten en na afloop maar snel bij een “snackbar” wat gehaald. Je wist wel dat er niets bij inzat.

Staff on the boat were excellent. The trip mainly was mixing with other guests and enjoying meeting other people from other backgrounds and nationalities but the actual experience of the luminous lagoon was very disappointing.

There was nothing luminous we nust swam I'm dark cold water.. the captain left his phone out not in a case which my husband accidentally knocked just a small drop. .my husband apologise and put phone back. The boat was in total darkness so should have been kept om his person.throuout the tour the captain kept coming over abd saying his phone was cracked..which I questioned and said that could have already been there. He made me so anxious that we got off boat straight to hotel. I want a refund

First it was very frustrating to go at 5 pm only to get there at 5:30 and be told to “ hang out until the excursion at 7 pm . They want you to buy drinks and food. Not what we went for. There were so many people, lots of boats, the captain Vincent was great, but you had too many people in a shallow area stirring up mud so you couldn’t really see much of anything. We moved further away from the group and were able to see the lights a bit. A waste of time and money

This was the excursion my wife wanted to do the most. On our 33td Anniversary we went to the Luminous Lagoon and were disappointed. We wanted to swim in the luminous blue water and instead it was dull and muddy. Total waste of money and time. We weren't even on the driver's list to he picked up. He was awesome and called someone to see what's up. Then took us. Plus we weren't on the main list at the lagoon.

Sehr stressig. Alle mussten ganz schnell ins Wasser springen. Dann kam ein Fotograf und schrie die ganze Zeit „next,next“, um Fotos zu machen. Schnell mussten alle ins Boot und Fotos kaufen. Für uns war es ein schrecklicher Ausflug, der total überteuert ist

The seatbelts on the transport did not work. The boats were crowded and my 6 year old son was not offered on when boarding only if he entered the water. It was not out on by the staff and I hadn't fitted it properly or it was too large. Thankfully he is a good swimmer.

All experience was fantastic, the luminous water didn't show that night we went , but it was still amazing to swim in the lagoon , we saw the colour when the boat started and the propeller lite it up , Nile Mile was amazing experience waited a long time to go there . Duns falls was challenging , stunning and wow the place is on another level, I conquered the falls to the top withered help off the guide, he made me feel very safe, he does a fantastic job . The food on trips was great.

Driver friendly still drove to fast. Boat ride 45 mins and saw no blue from boat husband went in he could see the blue and if he moved the water fast enough then you might see a bit of blue nothing like pictures at all overall disappointing.fire show good but again about 15 mins so all in all about 1 hour off bus for a 5 hour round tour. Would not recommend this trip.

Erst wurden wir mit einem Bus abgeholt und zu der Örtlichkeit gebracht. Dort mussten wir warten, bis wir überhaupt auf das Boot konnten. Dort gab es erst einmal keine vernünftigen Auskünfte. Alle unfreundlich. Es gab kein Begrüßungsgetränk. Wenn man dennoch etwas trinken wollte, musste man überteuert sich selbst was holen. Preis pro Getränk lag bei ca. 10 Dollar. Auf dem Boot angekommen, saß man wie Sardellen nebeneinander. Viel zu überfüllt. Der Bootsmann war total drüber. NICHT zu empfehlen.

This was a fascinating experience. The driver was very funny and informative. We did stop for a rum tasting before we got to the lagoon, do not buy anything as everything is massively overpriced. When we arrived he explained everything thoroughly and told us where to go and how we would board the boats. The lagoon is not very deep, about 6 feet max, and the bottom is soft mud. Swimming in different places produced the best effect. The fire show after was also brilliant, drinks are expensive tho.

Loved the trip, great experience! Staff were incredible from pick up, boat boarding, swimming, pictures, safety briefs & best way to enjoy the evening. Received a free drink on arrival & options to purchase pics at the end. There was a fire show at the end which wasn’t listed as included but was fun & expected it from the reviews. All in all good night!

Great experience. Safety wise verything was explained well. We loved seeing this natural phenomenon, sadly a few people on our trip didn't quite understand that the experience could vary Maybe on booking it should be explained that the blue hue is seen better through a camera.

Really amazing experience.. you have to try it. We had a really excellent mini bus driver who was efficient and safe. We left for return in good time to allow us to get back for supper in the buffet. The effect of the plankton were amazing. Only downside..they take pictures and want £40 for 1 digital shot transferred to you phone which is blessed expensive for what it is We tried to negotiate but no deal. Nevertheless was great fun

I enjoyed the experience on the boat. The captain and staff were entertaining and informative. We watched a wonderful sunset and had an opportunity to swim in the shallow, dark and very warm water of the lagoon. We had optional lifebelts and a trained lifeguard. Lots of strong rum punch, I opted out after sipping as I wanted to swim and keep a clear head. They created a parry atmosphere. I didn't see any fish but we did get the luminescent effect as we moved our limbs. Driver was terrible

The fire show was mostly over when our boat returned..?so only saw the ending, maybe start the show when all the boats are in. The photos were very expensive, 40 dollars and you can’t just buy one at a cheaper price!!

It was an experience I’ll never forget. The boat crew made the passengers safe. They explained the Luminous Lagoon and offered life vests and was very patient with the passengers. I’ll be back and I highly recommend this tour. Boris- the agent was vey friendly and helpful in assisting me with my tour selection.

Bei der Hinfahrt hatte unser Bus einen Plattfuß. Es kamen Ersatzwägen für den Personentransport. Man fährt zwar ab Negril ca. 2 Stunden, aber das lohnt sich sowas von!!! Unbeschreiblich mystisch wenn das Wasser um einen herum leuchtet. Es ist eimalig!!! Bitte nicht bei Vollmond (zu **********) oder tagelange Bewölkung am Tag.

The whole experience felt very rushed. We were moved straight from the bus into the boat as our driver was worried we would miss it. The boat tour didnt last very long. The water and glowing is cool and very fun but the experience was over as soon as it began

Driver was great and very friendly however there was no TUI rep on this tour. Lagoon did not light up and it was after booking that we found out that the lagoon is only luminous at certain times of the year! The show after was only for about 10mins and then we were back on the bus. Definitely not worth the money and wouldn’t recommend going.
