Listed for 30 years as a World Heritage Site, the Palace of Versailles is one of the finest achievements of French art in the 17th century. The former hunting lodge of Louis XIII was transformed and enlarged by his son Louis XIV who installed his court and his government there in 1682. Until the French Revolution, kings succeeded each other, embellishing the Castle each to their tower.This private two-hour tour will introduce you to the wonders of this iconic palace of the French kings, you will hear about the history of this place and its inhabitants, its evolution through the centuries.
