De trip zelf is niet echt de moeite. De winkelstraat is zo ongeveer hetzelfde als nidri. Daarvoor hoef je niet te gaan. De boulevard zijn grote ongezellige massatenten. Het is wel leuk wat door de straatjes te dwalen maar heb je geen 3 uur voor nodig. Buschauffeur was drukker met z’n telefoon dan met de weg. Dus nee geen moetje van een excursie, wel gewoon even afvinken van de lijst ‘gezien’. Maar kan met OV vanuit nidri ook makkelijk.

We were expecting an experience, not just a minibus taxi. We were given a photocopy map and shown whereabouts the west facing bridge was and pick up point. It would have been a proper experience if a guide came on the journey and explained a bit about the history of the town and things of interest that we should look for. We were 15 mins late leaving and we were 5 mins early leaving the town, they almost left without us even though we were sitting on a bench nearby.

Said our trip was from 18.00 hrs until 23.30, but when we got onto the bus, and was given information about the excursion, we was told that the pick up time was in fact 22.00 hours, so it only gave us 3 hrs in lefkada, instead of the 4.5hrs, which TUI are selling the excursion for, and we didn’t think it gave us enough time to see the town, or was valve for money

Transport naar de boulevard en visa versa was prima geregeld. Op de Tui site staat gids aanwezig, maar dat is niet het geval. Je wordt afgezet met een plattegrond en weer opgehaald. Op zich niet erg, want wij hadden het prima gered en heel gezellig gehad. Wat een mooie uitzicht van de zonsondergang op de boulevard. En op de brug, daar wilt iedereen voor de mooiste foto's.
