Una delle migliori giornate in famiglia a Minorca. Per prima cosa, visiterete il parco animali di Lloc de Menorca, un santuario per specie provenienti da tutto il mondo. E poi vi godrete un po' di tempo libero sulla spiaggia di Son Bou, che ha la bandiera blu. Nicola, una delle nostre guide in questo tour, dice: "I bambini piccoli adoreranno il parco degli animali e le aree gioco al coperto. E potrete scattare le vostre foto con una varietà di animali, tra cui un serpente".Immerso in splendidi giardini fioriti, Lloc de Menorca ospita ogni sorta di animali da fattoria e creature esotiche. Il benessere degli animali è la massima priorità. Nicola dice: "Gli animali salvati godono di una nuova vita, in quelli che sarebbero i loro ambienti normali". E Debbie, un'altra delle nostre guide, aggiunge: "Il Lloc è molto più di uno zoo: è un rifugio per molti animali maltrattati dai circhi, dal traffico illegale e persino dall'allevamento eccessivo".Seguendo i sentieri intorno agli stagni, vi troverete faccia a faccia con scimmie giocherellone, incontrerete simpatiche capre nane e vi avvicinerete a tutto, da canguri e tartarughe giganti a istrici e pavoni. C'è anche un rettilario dove potrete farvi fotografare con un serpente. Avvistate molti uccelli nella voliera, compresi i pappagalli impertinenti che si nascondono tra le foglie. Per concludere la giornata, facciamo un viaggio di 15 minuti fino a Son Bou, baciata dal sole, mentre altri vi portano in spiagge più lontane. Con quasi 3 km di sabbia bionda, è il tratto di spiaggia più lungo di Minorca. Avrete circa un'ora per prendere il sole, fare una nuotata o fare un giro nei negozi di souvenir. E se optate per il pranzo, potrete sedervi al ristorante Arena per gustare un pasto gustoso.

Ein toller Ausflug für die Familie. Der Tierpark ist mit Kindern toll. Man kommt den Tieren dort sehr nahe. Insgesamt ein sehr schöner Tierpark. Der Strand ist toll. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist, dass man an beiden Orten mehr Zeit haben müsste. Aber dennoch ist dieser Ausflug sehr empfehlenswert.

The zoo was good for kids, shame the pick up time for the coach coincided with the reptile feeding and picture opportunities as my son really wanted to see/ hold the snake but couldn’t. The beach was packed! The children liked the water but the walk down to the beach from where the coach dropped us off and back up the hill was extremely difficult and there was no warning that it was that hard - we had a 71 year old and two 5 year olds who nearly passed out in the heat!

From the start very easy to book at the hotel. On the day the transport was on time. The guide was very professional and friendly. She gave lots of helpful information. The actual trip to the zoo was fantastic I felt we had enough time. With regards to the beach maybe a little more information, make it clear you can leave belongings on the coach so we could’ve brought a sun shade and a change of clothes. This would be helpful when you first book the trip.

Der Ausflug zum Zoo ist toll. Der Zoo war nicht überlaufen, man konnte sich alles in Ruhe ansehen. Toll sind auch die Fütterungen und die Nähe zu den Tieren.( Schlangen anfassen/ halten.) Der Ausflug zum Strand ist ok aber ausbau fähig. Wenn der Fahrer andere Gäste abholen muss und der Bus sauber bleiben soll, sollte den Gästen eine Dusche zur Verfügung stehen. Mir tat das Personal des Irischem Pub sehr leid. Das Putzen der Toilettenräume dauert.

It was good to see a place rescuing animals from around the world! I hope the profits from the shop & cafe goes towards the upkeep of the animals as wan not part of the sanctuary! Would have liked more time on the beach

Excellent tour guide who was able to give information that helped us make the most of our time in the animal sanctuary. We loved the sanctuary and could really see how well cared for the animals were. The beach was stunning and Son Bou was a beautiful resort. We would have liked a little more time there as, by the time we had something to eat and a short time on the beach, it was time to leave.

Me pareció una excursión muy completa. Qué mejoraría: si bien es cierto que Menorca está en España, mi hijo y yo somos españoles, me hubiese gustado que al menos la información general la dijera en castellano, yo no tuve problema en entender pero otra gente lo puede tener y mi hijo me interrumpía la escucha. Creo que aunque la mayoría de los turistas eran la mayoría ingleses, se debería cuidar el turismo nacional.

The zoo is amazing but when looked on line it is a 10er to get in the beech is a free place to visit just thought it was a little expensive but it was an amazing day out and our guide Stephanie was really good English was clean Thank you for a great day out

The trip was great, would have preferred just the animal park without the beach but it was the only way to book the animal park with transfers. The walk to the beach from the bus was a little far for my daughter who has mobility issues, and there weren't really any directions to the beach. Once on the beach though it was lovely and the animal park was a great experience

Visit to the zoo was brilliant, even down to the restaurant gave such great service and the vibe was so chilled. Not so impressed with the beac, felt our coach drop off could have been closer, quite a walk in the heat with small children, I felt we could have been warned in more detail as to what it entailed

Animal sanctuary was fantastic, great facilities, sound cafe and prices and fab for children. Bus ride was great, just enough time on the bus. Downside - being dropped off almost half a mile away from the beach, having to navigate onto the beach in extreme temperatures and then literally having only an hour there before stomping back to the bus when you’re extremely hot and fatigued.

Loved the Animal Sanctuary, would definitely do again, the visit to Son Bou no not for us, alot of walking in mid day sun, Tui recommend bar for Lunch not great, my chicken wings were very undercooked, manager seemed annoyed at us for some reason!?. Plenty of other places to eat though. Definitely try and get a trip just to the Animal Sanctuary you'd be supporting a good cause.

The animal park is a gem with plenty of shady areas and a nice cafe. Animal exhibits are interesting and varied with plenty to see for adults and children. Food at the Irish bar in Son Bou was good and our only gripe was the free time on the beach was a bit short but overall a good experience.

I would have preferred a trip just to Lloc de menorca. Would have been great to have more time at the sanctuary rather than going on to the beach. I think you should consider running a trip just to lloc de menorca without the beach trip.

The park itself was very well kept the trees flowers and shrubs were beautiful the animals appeared to be well cared for and fed. However we were told that the monkeys were being fed at a certain time and then the staff that were feeding them would move onto the Crocodiles to feed them sadly this didn't actually happen when we eventually found the monkeys [signs were not at all clear] they had already been fed! and the crocodiles didn't get fed while we were there. very disappointing

We really enjoyed both the wildlife park and the beach, however we do feel it would be better split into two separate excursions. We felt rushed at both places and feel we could have got more out of it if we had a couple of extra hours at both places. Definitely would book both if they were separated.

Really liked that we had arrived early enough so we got to see feeding time of the lemurs, experiencing them jump on our shoulders was amazing. After feeding they were all tucked up sleeping so very happy we didn’t miss out. Beach time was nice, €10 each for a sun bed, and were able to pay by card. Sand was very very very hot so would recommend using sea shoes over flip flops, running fast didn’t help haha We didn’t opt for food at the Irish pub.

The cost of this activity is pricey, considering the entry price for the animal park is only 13 euros. Would have preferred the option of only going to the animal park then back to the hotel at this time of year.

Just about the right amount of time at the animal sanctuary, food in the cafe there was very good and reasonably priced too. Bit windy on the sandy beach for us with a little one, but had plenty of time for a paddle then a visit to the Irish bar, didn't eat there ourselves but the food looked good

The zoo was lovely. I am not very mobile and was worried about the trip. I could access the majority of the site quite easily, the driver tipped the coach to allow for easier boarding. My kids loved the animal ark particularly the Lemurs. At Son Bao, all we did was have a meal and a look on 2 shops as I was tired and didn't think the beach was a good idea. The coach driver pulled over a few times on the sat back to point out sites worth seeing which was really nice.

We really enjoyed the animal sanctuary and the work they do for the animals that are abandoned or not well. You can see the love the keepers have for their jobs and the privilege it is to do what they do, they are so happy. Feeding time is fun at the lemer enclosure they jump all around you , and also have a nice restaurant as well. The beach is nice, but you can save some money by buying your own lunch if you want.

We did not get picked up from the hotel as we were told pick up 9.45am and we were there for 9.30am and no transfer turned up. We asked a TUI rep who told us we should have been told 9.30am pick up. We had to then get a taxi to the park to join the rest of the group. We had to pay for the taxi ourselves and request a refund on our return. TUI excursions need to rectify this so it doesn’t happen again. The animal park was great but was rushed as we didn’t have enough time because of this.

We enjoyed the animal park and the beech but a better explanation regarding the food inclusion, would have been helpful. We were told food was included but when we asked the rep on the trip they said we were not down for it and that it was not included in the trip price. Not explained on booking. However quite glad that it wasn't as it was at an Irish pub. Not quite the Spanish experience.

The coach dropped us of a quarter mile from venue & we had to walk to venue. The coach actually drove past the venue, people were not happy , when he could of dropped & picked us up (lost lot of time) Chicken of the meal was fantastic !! other than the flies, this was seriously off putting & no attempt from iris pub to try to eliminate this issue, so could not enjoy the meal at all.

They never told us it was an hour walk from the coach to the beach we never made it to the beach as I suffer with health problems and couldn’t walk any more and my children was to hot and aching and couldn’t walk the people that did make it to the beach said it was horrible dirty and to far to walk

I enjoyed getting to hold a baby snake and had food at the zoo was nice and good standard, not too expensive. Its a sanctuary so all the animals are rescue animals but there was no lions, tigers , elephants, giraffe. I didn't like that most of the animals were free walking in the bits they were in . Some jump on you like the lema and i have a 3 year old and didn't like that it scared her

Such a well organised trip. The animals at the zoo are well cared for and their environments are great. Lovely to see they have been rescued where otherwise they would have been destroyed. The Sou Bou beach was amazing lovely clear sea and sandy beach, would have liked more time here.

Felt that our time at the zoo and the beach was very rushed due to being on the coach and collecting other passengers for a long period of time, around an hour and a half there and around 2 hours to return. The coach was also involved in a traffic collision on the return journey.

Wir (2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder) werden am Abreisetag im 18:10 abgeholt und müssen unser Familienzimmer bereits um 12:00 räumen und dann 6 Stunden in der Rezeption warten! Oder wir bezahlen 63 Euro, obwohl man uns nicht sagen konnte, ob unser Zimmer nicht schon eieder vergeben ist. Schade, dass sie uns den bisher tollen Urlaub so vermiesen. Wir werden jedenfalls nie mehr über TUI eine Reise buchen!

The price for this trip with food included is not worth what TUI charge. Was only in the zoo 2.5 hrs it was very small and clean. Then took to beach and restaurant Irish bar, chicken food was horrible and could not be eaten. Went somewhere else to eat and had pizza. Very bad storm happened on our visit and had to take shelter so could not see any of the beach.

The info from Nicola the TUI rep was key to making the most of this trip. She supplied all the key times so we didn't miss a thing. If you visit the right animals at the right times the trip is very interactive. Brilliant experience. Rep first class.

Really enjoyed the day. The TUI reps on the day were great. The animal Sanctuary was fantastic . We could have spent longer at both locations; two and a half hours at each was not long enough. We also paid the same price for our two year old as we did for our six year old despite entry to the sanctuary being free for under 3s. I feel this needs to be addressed.

Absolutely loved Lloc de Menorca. Amazing experiences with the Lemurs, snakes, goats and birds. The beech however was hard work in the heat with the walk from the coach to the beech. It was then very packed but we managed to enjoy a swim in the sea after which we then had a hard walk back again in the heat to the coach. Still enjoyed the day as the animal experiences made it all worth it.

Had an amazing time at Lloc de Menorca, the variety of animals was awesome, you are able to get up close to some of them. Our son really enjoyed holding the snakes. We would have been happy to end the day here. Free time at Son Bou was not great, we got the 1/2 chicken and chips which were floating in grease. The beach was packed by the time we arrived at 1:30ish and there was no where to sit comfortably. No where to wash sand off feet although we were asked not to bring sand on the bus.

The animal sanctuary while lovely didn't o?take long to go round and was only €18 to enter. We were then dropped off at son bou beach at least a 2 mile plus walk in blazing heat the beach was packed no sunbeds or shade with a 1 year old this was horrendous. We had a quick dip to cool off and then walked back to drop off point another long walk I blazing heat. Not one aspect was enjoyable. Not sure why this cost €42 per person as it definitely wasn't worth it

The experience itself was great. Loc De Menorca was fantastic. The kids loved the lemars and holding the snakes. We did find we had to rush this part of the experience and would have preferred more time there rather than rushing from animal to animal with little time to read the information, or just to relax for a short time before having to leave for Son Bou. Son Bou beach is lovely, the area is not as friendly as Cala en Blanes but we were only there for the beach which was awesome.

I think clarification of timings would be helpful before the visit. Ie we booked lunch but actually decided to leave it because we found out we’d get more beach time if we didn’t have it and actually there were alternative places to eat . Guide brilliant .

The Lloc de Menorca was great. All the animals are rescued, so it doesn't feel like a zoo. Being in the lemur enclosure for feeding time was so much fun. They were sitting on our arms and shoulders waiting for their food and the kids absolutely loved it. Son Bou beach is lovely. It's very full and had no sunbeds to shade the littles, but the water was beautiful.

Podobalo nam sie wszystko. Odbiór spod hotelu nastapil punktualnie, Pani opiekun Nikola byla bardzo mila, objasnila wszystko wyraznie opowiadajac o atrakcjach w przystepny sposób, wyraznie i upewniajac sie czy kazdy zrozumial. Jestem pod wrazeniem wysokiej jakosci wycieczki.

Cadre agréable, bungalows bien aménagés. Dommage qu’il n’y ait pas de voilages : les fenêtres donnent sur la terrasse du voisin, donc rideaux occultants obligés en plein jour. Hôtel fréquenté quasi exclusivement par Anglais et Allemands. Pas de francophones, animations et activités : pas en français : décevant. Restaurant bruyant, repas répétitifs, desserts peu variés. Petite crique 10 min. Points positifs: Marina 5 min, bus pour Ciutadella. Si vous ne parlez pas anglais, je ne recommande pas.

Ein richtig schöner Tierpark. Und auch die Zeit in Son Bou war total schön :-)
Nur die Bar fanden wir nicht so super. Aber das ist Geschmackssache.
