What to expect
The Anaga Mountains in northeast Tenerife form a spectacular backdrop for this daytrip in a minivan. On this town and country tour, you'll venture into the magical Mercedes laurel forest, discover La Laguna – considered one of the island's prettiest towns – and visit Candelaria Basilica.We'll set off on our adventure around Tenerife into one of Tenerife's most emblematic places – Anaga Mountains. This volcanic range house the Mercedes laurel forest as well as cacti and native dragon trees. And you'll experience it all up close in a minivan, which can travel along noodle-thin mountain roads. Lunch is in a homestead in Taganana.You'll also head to La Laguna, declared a UNESCO site, where you can walk among big-windowed, pastel-coloured homes. Along the way, you'll also journey through the Tegueste wine country .There are pit stops at the impossibly golden Las Teresitas beach and the waterfront Candelaria Basilica, and quick zoom through the capital, Santa Cruz.

Ging allemaal veel te snel je kreeg niet de tijd om ergens koffie te drinken de lunch was bar slecht. En onderweg kreeg je weinig uitleg van de gids omdat de verbinding het niet deed onderling met de busjes dit kreeg je bij de stops die gemaakt werden maar werd vliegensvlug verteld en weer verder

Was mooi om door het laurierbos te rijden , maar een kort wandelingetje in het bos hadden we wel kunnen appreciëren . Voor de rest was het het geld niet waard vond ik .

Very rushed one hour in la Laguna is not enough time to see anything pointless stop at a beach for fifteen minutes on the van off the van if you have mobility issues lunch was not good tough pork chop bread not presented well just a chunk on a napkin last stop was not enough time as well not good value for money

The tour was good. The scenery was wonderful but we could have spent longer in La Laguna - maybe one less beach stop would have given us more time in the town. The tour guide was excellent and full of interesting information. He was friendly and very helpful. The meal and restaurant awful. The food was cold and not very nice. The staff in the restaurant were not very friendly or engaging and the wine was appalling.

The guide was very knowledgeable and gave us all the information in a friendly way. Unfortunately the driver who picked us up at the hotel was 20 minutes late and drove very fast to the meeting point which was disconcerting and unnecessary as when we got there we had to wait for other people from other places. We would have preferred more time in La Laguna and Candelaria rather than visiting beaches but we understand you have to cater for a wide range of interests.

Start was rommelig, andere deelnemers moesten opgehaald worden. Zij wilden niet met alleen Spanjaarden in de auto zitten. Uiteindelijk vertrokken we. Het weer was ons gunstig gezind, droog in het noorden. De gids legde veel uit over deplanten die daar groeien. Interessante trip. Alleen de lunch was matig, de soep bijna koud en de hoeveelheid eten gering, presentatie slecht, toetje slecht.

Stadje Laguna was niets bijzonders. Chauffeur was goed en behulpzaam, auto was comfortabel. Gids vertelde veel. Eten was echt slecht! Soep was koud en melig. Vlees was niet met een hakbijl door te komen en mensen die vis hadden besteld hadden vis met veel graten. Toetje was waterg en smakeloos!

Abholen im Pulk vieler anderer Touristen nicht einfach. Ein Mittagessen fehlte und musste nachbestellt werden. Restaurantbetreiber hektisch und überfordert. Für mich persönlich Aufenthalt in La Laguna mit 70 Minuten zu kurz.

Alles is zeer vlot verlopen, zoals verwacht. Vele mooie plaatsen gezien, zeer goede busje, goede uitleg gekregen (als je in het tweede busje zit, kan je geen vragen stellen aan de gids). Ik heb van een mooie dag genoten, die aan de verwachtingen voldaan heeft!

Dsnkzy vasthoudendheid van een chauffeur kon ik eindelijk mer. na 20 minuten. Ik stond nergens op de lijst, waardoor uiteindelijk 1 chauffeur me aanbood me terug te brengen naar het hotel. Dat wilde ik niet. Via een telefoontje hoorde ik dat mijn toer op woensdag gecanceld was en dat ik daarom op vrijdag mee kon. Het was een zeer ergerniswekkend begin .

Der Service war gut. Mein Mann Rollstuhlfahrer, der Fahrer half uns gut. Die einzelnen Aufenthalte waren sehr zeitlich sehr begrenzt. Weniger Stops und dafür etwas mehr Zeit bei Zielen wie La Laguna hätte mir besser gefallen. Trotzdem war der Ausflug insgesamt sehr schön. Ich fand es such gut den Mittagstisch in einem einheimischen Lokal einzunehmen.

No reflection on Henrik the guide who was knowledgeable and engaging, but the tour tries to do too much without doing anything well. There's no Wow factor at all and it felt rushed with the exception of an hour in Laguna. We booked on the basis that we would get a chance to experience Anaga, but all we got were a couple of quick photo opportunities. It was also said that we'd see Santa Cruz. We did, but only because the van had to drive alongside the port area to get us back. Disappointing.

2 minibussen. De nederlandstalige gids zat in ander minibus. Wij hebben niks van uitleg gekregen. Bij ieder stop was het: “over zoveel min terug”. Zonder enige uitleg. Was gewoon een “taxi”, meer niet.

Der Fahrer Jerry war super, sehr viele Informationen unter der Fahrt und an den Ausflugsorten. Das Mittagessen im Restaurant war sehr gut, der Fisch super gut gebraten, das Dessert war nicht meins, aber liegt am Geschmack. Mercedeswald echt sehr sehenswert. Fotosstopps waren toll. Aufenthalt bei den Stopps war angemessen und ausreichend. Würde diese Tour auf jeden Fall wieder machen.

Der Ausflug war toll , der Schweizer Guido war super , er hat uns sehr viel über Teneriffa und unsere Stops erzählt. La Laguna, Mercedes- Wald, Anaga Gebirge , Playa de las Teresitas, Basilica in Calendaria waren tolle Momente , ABER UND JETZT KOMMT DAS ABER Das Essen in Taganana war eine Katastrophe, es schmeckte ALLEN nicht, aber wir haben es gegessen , denn wir hatten HUNGER. Es gibt 2 tolle Restaurants in Taganana direkt am Meer, bitte das Restaurant SOFORT wechsel .

Nous avons aimé la beauté du paysage parcouru et des endroits traversés. Par contre, nous avons demandé un repas adapté aux allergies de mon épouse mais lors du repas commun, il n'y avait rien à manger pour elle, juste un morceau de pain. Or au moment de la réservation de l'excursion, la représentante TUI avait demandé si nous étions allergiques à certains aliments. Visiblement le message n'est pas passé et notre insistance auprès du guide non plus. Veuillez en tenir compte à l'avenir!

De gids viel tegen. Hij sprak tegen ons vanuit een ander busje, wat een slechte, half verstaanbare verbinding gaf. Hij liet ons alleen bij het bezoek aan de oude stad, met een vaag stadsplan met wat nummers op. Grote tegenvaller!

Un guide pour 3 voitures c'est moyen, pas d'arrêt dans la forêt de anaga malgré que des photos avec le brouillard auraient été très sympa, la traversée de santa Cruz sans intérêt avec aucun commentaire L'arrêt à candelaria très court alors qu'il n'y avait aucune urgence de rentrer à l'hôtel si tôt, sans parler du resto qui était plus une cantine qu'autre chose

Sehr pünktlich. Super Zusatzinfos über Land und Leute, professionelle Mitarbeiterin, total nette Unterhaltung. Mittagessen war dafür etwas unter dem Standard. Suppe war nicht gewürzt, da muss man selber kräftig nachwürzen. Auch die WC-Anlage dort ist sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig.

Das Abholen vom Hotel lief etwas chaotisch. Hier würde ich mir eine bessere Organisation wünschen. Die Abfrage bei der Abholung lief nach Zimmernummern ohne Hotelname ohne Voucher ohne Familienname. Wir sind später gestartet als geplant, weil Gäste kurzfristig zugebucht und storniert wurden. Die Tour selber war echt toll und unser Guide Alex war spitze. Gerne immer wieder eine Tour mit Alex.

We hebben de rondleiding in de steden gemist. We kregen een briefje met cijfers mee, en dat was het. Geen beschrijvingen van de nummers. We wisten dus niet wat er te zien was. Echt heel erg jammer. Wij hadden hier meer van verwacht. In het busje was de info wel goed.

Schöne Tour um die Gegensätze der Nord- und Südinsel kennen zu lernen. ABER: Die Reiseleiterin saß im ersten Bus und wir im zweiten. Die Übertragung per Funk war oftmals abgehackt .Zwischenfragen während der Fahrt waren nicht möglich und in den Pausen offensichtlich nicht erwünscht. Eine Stunde vor Tourende wurden wir verabschiedet und durften den Rest des Ausflugs bei Radiomusik genießen.

Sehr interessante Tour in eine grandiose Landschaft. Die MitbeiterInnen waren sehr freundlich. Unser Fahrer Nestor fuhr die kurvenreiche Strecke sehr umsichtig und rücksichtsvoll. In La Laguna hat es geregnet und es war sehr frisch. Man konnte entweder am Rathaus oder an der Markthalle aussteigen. Dann hatte man knapp 45 Minuten Zeit um sich orientierungslos in La Laguna umzusehen. Ergo von La Laguna haben wir gar nichts gesehen. So kann man es bei dieser Fahrt streichen.

We hebben teveel in het busje gezeten. Bij elke stop te weinig tijd. Zelfs de lunch ging veel te snel. De gids hielp ons te weinig. Geen hulp of uitleg bij een stop. Ook moeilijk te verstaan via het intercomsysteem van uit een ander busje.

The driver/guide in the front van was superb, how he could talk all the time whilst negotiating those mountain roads I don't know, but he was funny, informative and very helpful Lunch was good, far more than we were expecting! If you're travel sick probably not the best trip for you Despite being a cloudy day the scenery was outstandingly beautiful and awesome

Absolument inadmissible de proposer un repas aussi effroyable sur une sortie dite "VIP" Hangar sans plafond en guise de restaurant , des tables que l’on ne propose pas dans les cantines et avec un menu à 3€ qui n’est pas à décrire. Sordide, comment peut on proposer une telle prestation pour le déjeuner. A cause de cela, la sortie VIP n’est plus du tout VIP et nous ne renouvelons pas une autre sortie avec un tel prestataire……….dans l’attente de votre explication en retour.

Mir haben die Planung der Orte und die jeweiligen Zeitfenster gefallen. Als Katastrophe habe ich die Location und das Mittagessen empfunden. Das Lokal verfügte über ein Wellblechdach, das mit einer Plane in Müllsackfarbe abgehangen war. Tische und Stühle hatten den Charme eines Campingplatzes. Das Essen war eine Zumutung. Le tour est bien organisé mais trop rapide. A peine une heure pour visiter La Laguna est ridicule. 20 minutes pour la forêt n’a aucun sens. Dommage car le guide est très bon, beaucoup d’explications intéressantes. Il faut aussi prévenir que dans l’Est et le nord de l’île il pleut beaucoup.

The trip and the places visited were fantastic. The only part that let it down was the lunch. It was very basic and poor in taste. If you are going to offer this at least try to raise the standard. Soup was tasteless, the chops and potatoes dry, needed vegetables and a sauce. The dessert was bland. The only good part was the salad, and the wine.

Firstly as we were in mini buses it would have been better if we had been collected from our hotel instead of having to get to a bus stop. We then travelled to a staging post where all participants were left standing around for quite a period whilst who went with who in the mini buses. When the tour started we discovered we had a driver but no commentary whilst on the journey so we had no idea what we were passing or where we were going. Really poor. Bekamen gute Informationen über die jeweilige Besichtigungen , auch vor Ort, und konnten auch Fragen stellen . Lob an die Reiseleiterin. Das Mittagessen war sehr gut . Im Lorberwald hätte ich gerne noch etwas mehr Zeit verbracht .

The tour was wonderful but the stops in some places were too short and one was a waste of time. More time in the forest at Anaga would be good as that is one of the main highlights. I would remove the brief stop at Playa Teresitas as this is just a beach and our time there was so limited we couldn't even buy a coffee and it was a bit of a detour from the main route. The lunch a Taganana was great and the stops in LA Laguna with time to wonder around and a brief stop Candelaria was enjoyable.
