What to expect
If you're short on time and want to see Barcelona in one day, this trip is for you. You'll tick off some of the city's biggest highlights – the outside of FC Barcelona's Camp Nou stadium, the “mini Spain” of Poble Espanyol, the Sagrada Familia, a panoramic city tour and the Magic Fountains of Montjuic. Luis, one of our local guides, says, "In just one day, you'll experience the heart of Barcelona – from the iconic stadium to the Spanish Village – and even discover the vibrant stalls of the Boqueria Market.”You'll kick off with a 30-minute stop at Camp Nou, where you'll stroll along the famous Barça Boulevard, peek at the ongoing renovations from the viewing gallery, test your skills against the robot goalkeeper and visit the official club store. Later, you'll zoom up Montjuic hill, passing the Olympic Stadium on the way to Poble Espanyol. This open-air museum features replicas of over 100 buildings and streets from across Spain.Then it's on to Gaudí's unfinished masterpiece, the Sagrada Familia, for an exterior view. After a panoramic tour of the city, you'll have free time to wander Las Ramblas, poke around the Boqueria Market or relax on a terrace. Your day ends at Plaça Espanya with the spectacular Magic Fountains – a colourful show of water, light and music.

Excellent day, full on, lovely guide who was very approachable and clearly knew and loved Barcelona. Coach driver did well to give us the best viewing opportunities as we drove past areas. The spare time slot was enough to enjoy a meal along Las Ramblas and shade from the heat/sun. Would have loved if we could have squeezed in the Guell Park too.

The whole trip was amazing. I think 2 hours free time before the light show is better than the 3 provided as you are quite a while away from bars and shops so we went to the bar and shops but had an hour and half left over

Really enjoyed the whole experience. Siobhan was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the city and Rickard (I hope this is spelled correctly) the driver was very helpful and an excellent navigator with the traffic and building works 🤩

Our guide Sonia was well spoken and gave great information en route, however. We were not informed that la rambla was in the process of being dug up! Which was not enjoyable disappointing. When we asked about where to have our evening meal we were told there were lovely restaurants at second last stop. The restaurants were closed and we went all day without a meal to eat there. The magic fountains were cancelled due to wind. We understand this is beyond your control but it was the final straw.

No issues with guide and staff. It was disappointing that Camp Nou was closed, the main road La Rambla we were advised to visit was under maintenance. 40 minutes at la Sagrada Familia and whole 2 hours at the Village where everything was closed with no chance to have dinner. The fountains were also canceled last minute and our night walk was cut short because of the cancellation. Wish i had more time to explore. Bad timing in my opinion.

The trip would have been great if everything was open. Almost everything in the Spanish village was closed when we got there and the magic dountain was cancelled. Las Ramblas had major building works ongoing with constant drilling etc which we were not made aware of before hand. Guide and driver were excellent but the trip overall was a disappointment.

Very disappointing nothing was open didn’t have long to eat only 2 hours to view Barcelona and the fountains light show was cancelled last minute. I know it was beyond tui control as they said they were cancelled because it was too windy which wasn’t the case so I won’t be booking a tour again. The driver Antonio and rep Sonia were lovely though that was the only good thing about the whole day

Time at the Sangada familiar (holy church) could have been longer .1 hour wasn't long enough to have a meal and still have time to walk around the church. Also on a previous visit with TUI, the guide took us around and was very informative (2019). The cancellation of the magic fountain was disappointing but no fault of TUI.

Mike the guide was extremely knowledgeable. He handled the issues with the protest and get us to the coach in a calm and efficient way. The tour, although very tiring, gave us what we wanted an overview of the city.

The only down side was on the home we brought 2 extra people who weren't with us on the way out, they sat behind us and spoke ate laughed and just generally loud. We were asked at the start to avoid smelly foods and to be respectful of everyone on the bus which everyone gladly did , I had 3 kids with me. When they got on the recommendations didn't apply to them?

Unfortunately 2 members of our group couldn’t make it on trip due to I’ll health, trip was amended more than 24hrs before trip, although no refund given and when we spoke to TUI rep there was no help given. The trip was ok but not much information and a very long day, quite boring at parts, we were told when booking that we end the night at fountains, not the truth there was no water so we didn’t go, this was what sold the trip to us so we’re extremely disappointed, would not recommend!!!

Well organised and the guide was excellent. Coach and driver was good and the itinerary was varied. My wife and I found it great value for money for the time we were there and we got plenty of time to wonder around by ourselves. A great introduction to the City a must do 1st time visit.

Camp nou and sagrada familia were excellent. Not enough free time to visit Las Ramblas and Gothic quarter.and parked too far away. Water fountains not on the agenda due to drought apparently but still advertised when booking online.and we gained no extra time due to jockeying them. Spanish village should be optional as we would have preferred more time exploring Barcelona itself . Due to rushing back to coach I had a fall and needed first aid.

The day and night tour was really good value for money. The places we went were great. The guide Mike or number 6 as my daughter called him was very polite, knowledgeable and great at his job. The driver was also excellent. Could not fault any of the day and night. My best bit of the trip.was the fountains at the end absolutely spectacular. Will definitely be returning to Barcelona

We were going to catch the train to Barcelona from Cambrils but choose this trip instead as it was all organised for us and included the entry price for the stadium and the Spanish village. Definitely recommend

Not really a trip to do if you actually want to see any of Barcelona other than the Barcelona FC stadium. Spanish Village was mostly closed as we got there at siesta. Better off booking the S. Familia in advance and going inside rather than a 15min rush around the outside. "Free time" before the fountains was a little over an hour, mostly taken up with finding somewhere to eat and rushing through it to make the bus. The fountains were nice. Guide was lovely.

Great experience - tour guide and driver were fantastic. Covered a lot of Barcelona throughout the day. The only aspect I didn’t enjoy as much was the football stadium (it was just so busy and like herding cattle). This is out of Tui’s control - I know, but it was really quite unpleasant.

Theresa (our guide) was so friendly / helpful & full of knowledge on all our activities/ the region/ it’s culture & history. She carried an extendable pole with a red flag when walking in the city & paused periodically to ensure her group were together…. Very useful In Barcelona so you don’t loose her. So she is patient also. It is a long day and night but the air conditioned coach (with drinks on board) makes it as comfortable as possible. Manel the driver was also excellent & timely.

We thought the trip was excellent but would have like more time in Barcelona. We are ally didn’t like the top at pablo espanole. There was little open and it felt like a waste of time. We also didn’t like being dropped at the train station on the way home, when everyone else was picked up and dropped off at their hotel door.

Enjoyed the holiday it was a great holiday! Enjoyed the day activities arranged/suggested. The Tui guide at the Hotel was really helpful and well organised. It’s always good to ask for suggestions ok where to travel during the day and what the area is like as we found this extremely helpful.

I think overall its a great way to see the main and more popular areas of a place. However the amount of time spent in each isnt enough as it doesnt give you enough time to see it all completely and enjoy it to the max.
