What to expect
Reflect on the events of September 11, 2001, when visiting the moving 9/11 Memorial and Museum. Then sail around the Statue of Liberty on a sightseeing cruise that also cruises under the Brooklyn Bridge and past Ellis Island. Take in incredible views of the iconic New York skyline. You will receive a timed ticket to the 9/11 Museum which displays over 10,000 artifacts linked to the events of 9/11. The museum has special exhibits, rotating galleries as well as 3 permanent exhibition sections which are:
- The Historical exhibition covering the Day of 9/11, Before 9/11 and After 9/11
- The Memorial exhibition commemorating the lives of those who perished on September 11, 2001
- The massive Foundation Hall housing the last column and the slurry Wall
You can also visit the National September 9/11 memorial located next door featuring twin reflecting pools which sit within the footprints where the Twin Towers once stood. When you conclude, you can enjoy views of famous landmarks of the Manhattan skyline during a 1-hour scenic sightseeing cruise from Pier 36. From right under the Brooklyn Bridge, travel toward the South Street Seaport and Battery Park. You will then get to within 100 feet of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island for incredible photo opportunities.

Your ticket to the 9/11 Museum will be emailed to you from the local operator the day before your scheduled tour date. It is timed and dated. Please aim to arrive 15 minutes before this scheduled entry time to the museum
Your cruise will be scheduled on the same day as your museum visit, usually around 3-4 hours after your museum entry time to give you time to grab some food and make your way to the boat. Details on the time of your cruise will be in the email with your museum tickets. The cruise departure point is 30-40 minutes walking from 9/11 Museum. Please give yourself plenty of time as check-in for the cruise closes 10 minutes before the scheduled departure time

Meeting point:
Go directly to the “Ticket Holder” line at the 9/11 Museum where you will need to show the timed entry ticket that was emailed to you by the local tour operator. The cruise departs from Pier 36, 299 South St, New York, NY 10002, USA. Once you arrive at Pier 36, do not try to enter the Pier 36 building. The boat is docked behind the building and can be accessed from walking round the North End of the building - near the Fire Department. The boat, operated by “NY Skyline”, can be found at Slip 6. Check in with the NY Skyline Staff who will be wearing red “NY Skyline” shirts.
