The trip was excellent. Mr Mota collected us early in the morning, he was friendly and knowledgeable guide, ensuring our safety at all times. Enjoyed the catamaran experience, dancing, snorkelling/swimming and music, , 3 hours on island. Drinks and BBQ lunch were included. Speedboat ride back was great fun. Was an excellent day, well worth the money. Just remember to take money for tips during the day. Would recommend

We enjoyed every second, but highly recommend you take water, at the island it’s offered in very small cups and if like me you only drink water and it’s a very very hot day you’ll be back and forth to get your little cups.

Have been several times before. This time the each was dirty, plastic, rubbish, bottles etc. To the part on the left was like a rubbish tip. Food was poor quality maybe because we were the last ones. Barbacue was overcooked and not edible. No drinks offered once at lagoon. Sorry this was the agreement of all at our table.

This was an amazing experience! Great trip to one of the most beautiful beaches and bays you could imagine. Food was great including the all inclusive alcohol. The party boat on the way back took awhile for the party to start…but was fun when it did!

The trip was excellent with flying fish, relaxing, enjoying the scenery and the warm waters to snorkel and swim in. Drinking beer in shallow waters on the natural sandbank and floating was unbelievable. Everyone was friendly, the food tasty and the drinks in a coconut with a lot of rum was great. A couple of hours on the island to relax after lunch was great.

Guides and staff were excellent especially our guide Johnny. There was enough sunlounges on beach. No-one was pushing us to buy anything all the time. There wasn't too many people on boats. The buffet on beach was lovely and tasty. Would recommend The toilets on beach could do with being improved.

Totaal andere verwachtingen, geen private exclusive boottrip, mag je echt niet zo noemen met 25 anderen op een boot en gang v zaken. Snorkelen in de marina was een aanfluiter, met andere boten op eenzelfde plek liggen en alle aanwezigen het water in met ondeugdelijk snorkelwaar. En dan door naar het zwembad in de zee, gewoon een strook in het zeewater waar je kunt staan. Drinken op de boot teleurstellend geen wijn en onvoldoende voor allen aanwezig dan wel keuze. Veeel te duur voor de ervaring!

Très très déçues. Le snorkeling du début à 20 mètres du port : nul. La piscine naturelle c'est un arrêt quasi en pleine mer. Nous n'avions pas pied à certains moments, difficile de profiter de son apéro dans de telles conditions. Arrêt du midi sur une plage quelconque. Un repas très médiocre. Un guide antipathique qui quitte le groupe sans un au revoir. Bref une journée décevante. Seuls les trajets en bateau améliorent quelque peu le ressenti de la journée.

The church was beautiful. Maria’s house was fascinating and gave us a real insight into traditional Dominican life. The lunch was really nice and the location of it was beautiful. The driver and the guide were brilliant making it a really enjoyable day, particularly the rum on the bus. The beach we finished at was beautiful and we all really enjoyed cooling down in the sea.

The catamaran trip out was fab, the crew were brilliant & got the party started. The snorkeling spot,however, was crowded & my wife narrowly missed.getting hit by an incoming Cat whilst she was in the water. BbQ on the beach was ok, you wouldn't go hungry, there was plenty of food, but the rice was cold & some of the fish was undercooked. Beach sellers flogged coconuts with your favourite tipple in for $10 a shot, not worth it. In all, £137 on the steep side but Saona Beach is beautiful.

Een fantastische excursie. Vooral onze gids Castro was top! Alles was goed geregeld en verliep volgens plan. De 2 uur durende terugreis met de catamaran vloog voorbij dankzij de animatie die top was. In het bijzonder dankzij 1 animator die iedereen deed lachen en meedansen met zijn gekke grappen. Bedankt voor de leuke dag!

Het snorkelen hadden we al beter gehad tijdens een andere uitstap. De speedboot was wel leuk. Er was geen zon maar zeker geen regen gehad. Eiland was leuk maar niet speciaal. De terugweg op de catamaran door de animatie maakte er een geslaagde dag van.

Very disappointing for a premium-priced trip. Breakfast was basic (cheese/ham sticks and wraps), snorkelling had very few, tiny fish, and the supposedly special beach stop was overcrowded with boats and people. There weren’t even enough seats for our group, so four had to sit with another tour. The guide also spent around 10 minutes talking about tips, which felt excessive. We struggled to see what justified the extra cost over TUI’s £60 option.

**Very disappointed — not worth the “Premium” price!** We paid **$380 for two people** and expected a premium experience. The bus arrived 35 minutes late, the toilet situation was terrible, breakfast was just cheese and ham on toothpicks, and lunch was very poor (**2/10**). We were promised **3 hours on Saona Island**, but stayed less than 2 hours. **Saona Island is absolutely beautiful and worth visiting, but I would not recommend TUI’s “Premium” excursion!

The island and the natural pools were AMAZING! So so beautiful. The staff were very also very friendly and accommodating. This trip is around 12 hours long from start to finish and there is a lot of travelling involved to get both there and back, which you need to be prepared for. The only negative we had, was for the price of the tour, we expected more food to be available - it’s a very long day and were really quite hungry by the end. If we’d have known before, we’d have bought snacks with us.

Although its an early start and was a few hours on the coach to start this trip it was well worth it the atmosphere on the catamaran on the way to the island was fantastic the staff on board were brilliant they had us up dancing were extremely attentive in making sure we had drinks and the views were not to be missed the island was pretty the food was great and the ride back by speed boat was breezy well worth the money for a whole day out.

The only part of this excursion I didn't think was good was the fact we hardly got out of the port before the boat stopped for snorkling. There wasn't much to see and I didn't feel this was an authentic place to snorkle like it described in the details

Het bezoek aan het eiland was mooi. Maar we hebben er was trammelant over onze retour boot. En daarna hebben we een uur zonder brandstof rond gedobberd in zee zonder info. Uiteindelijk waren we erg laat in het hotel terug.

I was pretty much disappointed at the beginning of the excursion due to the somewhat chaotic nature of the experience. The guide was abrupt not very apologetic and the food terrible. As far as the open bar you got a drink when it was offered. I understood we were to get a welcome drink when we got to the island but they ran out apparently yet the group behind us got one. All in all pretty rubbish for the money we paid. And tip boxes slung in your face shaking it like charity collection. :(

The catamaran ride was brilliant and fun. We arrived on the island at 1.20pm and were told originally we would have until 3ish which seemed a short time of less than 2 hours. We were all ready and waiting on the beach for our ride home. It was actually 4.20 before our speed boat arrived after some very loud arguments between Evalise (the Tui guide) and the boat company. A speed boat eventually did arrive but ran out of fuel! We were on the boat for 40 minutes before fuel was eventually delivered

It is a long day but worth it. Great team on all the boats and the island is just beautiful. We were entertained from start to finish and everyone on our boat enjoyed it. We have also now made more friends and shared plenty of great photos and memories.

Overall amazing experience, beautiful island, however wasn’t as “private” as we expected. The only private part of the tour was the actual island area, we were still in a group of 20-30 people the whole time. Tour guide was great, however, going for a coach trip that was over 1.5-2 hours each way and being offered no water was very surprising in this heat. The actual food on the island was mediocre with no allergens and a small selection. Could have done with longer in the natural pool.

We hadden Roberto als leiding. Spreekt goed Engels en Duits. Maakt veel grapjes en spreekt een beetje nederlands. Geeft goed uitleg en staat open voor alle vragen. 2 keer gestopt op de heenweg. 1e keer snorkelen wat vissen gezien maar niet heel veel maar kan een moment opname zijn. 2e keer bij het "zwembad" zoals Roberto het noemt. Super mooi blauw water moeite waard! Tijdens de rit kleine snack en veel drinken aangeboden gekregen. Eiland ook erg mooi. Lunch is wat karig maar prima. Top dag!

Es war insgesamt ein sehr schöner Tag, allerdings haben wir zwei Kritikpunkte: 1. Beim Schnorcheln war das Equipment ( Sicherheitswesten und Ausrüstung) eine Katastrophe, tum Teil kaputt, in Deutschland hätte man so was nicht zulassen. Außerdem war die Zeit zu kurz. 2. Wir wären lieber am Strand länger geblieben, dafür mit einem Schnellboot zurück. Sonst hat der Rest (Abholung, Transfer und Guide) sehr gut geklappt

Johnny and his team was superb👍 snorkeling for 15 minutes you can skip, you see nothing. “Natural pool” is beautiful but mass-tourism there. You see much more starfish next to catamaran when sailing away. Saona island its a paradise, private strand just amazing and fully does worth it.

De zandbank aan het einde van de tour was geweldig onderweg in speedbood een paar zeesterren zoen liggen. Wij vinden het heel jammer dat er gezegd wordt dat het mooi helder water is nee dus .alleen de zandbank. We gingen deze tour maken voor het de onderwater wereld maar we hebben geen vis gezien

I have submitted a formal complaint as this is entirely mis-sold. This is a party boat event more suited to an 18-30s crowd. I specifically said that I had two autistic children and elderly parents and asked if it was suitable. I was told yes, it’s a good family day out. It is not. Boat was held together in places with duct tape, toilet absolutely disgusting to the point of being unuseable and the latch didn’t work. So much more to say, not enough words.

Die Abholung und die Hinfahrt war gut. Wir hätten uns mehr gewünscht, dass es einen besseren Ort zum Schnorcheln ausgesucht würde. Die Katermaran Fahrt ging mit 3 Stunden viel zu lange. Die Tänzerinnen bzw. Service aufm Boot waren leider unfreundlich. Die Rückfahrt war gut mit dem Schnellboot. Das Essen war leider kalt.

Wij hadden een andere verwachting van een Supreme arrangement. De gids was 45 minuten te laat, zonder communicatie. De gids was niet erg betrokken bij onze groep. Opnhet eiland was niks Supreme. We moesten zelf achter onze lunch aan. We hadden net zo goed de normale trip kunnen boeken. Op het privé strand voelden We ook geen VIP.

A la Carte Restaurants nicht so toll. Zimmer könnten besser geputzt werden. Türen der Zimmer sehr laut. Getränke und Essen im Buffet Restaurant sehr gut. Anlage im allgemeinen sehr sauber gehalten.

Castro our guide was excellent! Our speed boat crew were amazing! The overall experience completely blew us away. Our son has autism and isn’t great with loud noises. The boat was quite loud but because the guide and boat staff had engaged with all the passengers when it got loud he bought into it rather than dis regulating.

We did the basic package for £60 last year and paid the extra to do the private island. It is so worth it! Quieter beach and group travelling to and from the island. Extra stop and snacks along the way. Then a more options for lunch! Definitely better than the cheaper package

Ankunft in bayahibe Umstieg auf Boot zu Katamaran, erster Schnorchelstopp(noch im Hafen)man hat einiges an Fische gesehen. Dann mit Katamaran auf die Insel. Die Crew war super und Getränke und Snacks gab es auch. Auf der Insel, Jahreszeiten viele Algen, der Strand war schön aber nicht besonders. Mittagsessen, war Buffet. Zurück mit Boot, zweiter schnorchelstopp, keine Fische, keine Seesterne nur Krabbenlöcher am Grund. Vielleicht falsche Jahreszeit, keine Ahnung. Ich empfehle den Ausflug nicht.

Coach trip there was good and our guide Jonny was very knowledgeable. Speed boat on way out to the island was ok and staff very friendly. Our stop off to get into the water should have been waist height so we could look at the sea bed to see the star fish and other tropical fish.However I’m 5 ft 9 and I had just my head above water most of the time but my wife is 5 ft 1and we had to ask for a life jacket.This was such a disappointment.Food on the island was terrible & our time there was rushed

Die Insel ist echt ein Traum.. Aber leider man verbringt zu wenig Zeit dort.. Mit dem Bus fährt man zu lang und dazwischen hält sehr oft an, sodass schon am Mittag auf der Insel ankommt und nach 2 Stunden wieder los muss... Echt schade für das Geld.... Aber insgesamt war es sehr schön und alle waren nett

Breakfast was 2 pieces of cheese on a stick,then 2 piece of ham on a stick like you get on cocktail sticks at home,finished it off with a piece of melon and pineapple on a stick. The snorkeling and second pool we the best part of it.sarona beech was very rocky and nothing else to do when you finally get there.it says from £97 ended up paying £341 for two adults and one elven year old child,was it worth it.....no

The actual experience was nothing like the photos suggested - the snorkelling part was about 100m out of the port, and while the natural pool was nice, the starfish were not there one minute and then mysteriously appeared. The private beach was only around 50m of beach, with another 3 or 4 private tours all sharing the same stretch of beach, and lunch was disappointing at best. While the guy on the boat on the way there was entertaining, the food came out of a dirty cupboard on the boat!

Great guide, snorkelling swimming and food however based on what we learnt afterwards and witnessed on the return catamaran trip shocked at safety. Smirking was banned but not capping, whilst in harbour waiting to unload crew refuelled using in appropriate fuel containers 25/30 litre with just a standard screw cap I. The same area a young girl Died just two weeks before, health and safety was not present at all during refueling the engines were even off 5 minutes before the petrol was topped up

Over £280 for 2 people. Only thing premium was the money charged. Everything done to maximise profit. Like an episode of the apprentice. How can a trip run out of beer? Island at least where we were was pretty filthy, lots of sea grass thousands of old coconuts and palm leaves just dumped at the end of the beach or behind. Toilets filthy. Rep was more bothered about selling 10 dollar piña colada's then advising guests where the bar was etc. Food was served last. Very poor.

Negative. As our group was the last group on our part of the beech to go for food there wasn’t a lot left. The chicken pieces we got was mainly a bone with hardly any meat. So we felt the food wasn’t good value. Positives. The crew on both boats were outstanding as was our guide BJ. Even after getting soaked on the speedboat ride back from the island.

The hotel rep over exaggerated the experience. Was picked up at dreams hotel lobby event hough we were staying at dreams hotel and there was a pick up from dreams lobby. Coach transfer was good. Too many boat transfers. Catamaran too small, no space to relax. Island toilet facilities DISGUSTING. Flies around food. Beach not private... with a rocky/seaweed coastline. The beach where I was staying was just as good if not better.

We felt the private beach area tour was a bit pricey but overall very Good. Highlight was natural pool but wished we had longer there. Our guide was funny and very impressive and so were the boat staff-very entertaining.

Guide and staff were amazing. Friendly and looking to make the experience pleasant. Swim in lagoon ‚pool‘ was lovely, Saona island itself great for playing in the water and for photos. Food was ok, not too much and not too little. More drinks on island would have been good and information about price for pineapple beforehand would have been good as didn’t have enough cash with me on the day. Not so good was noise level on catamaran, music was much too loud to enjoy the sailing.

First off we was sold the excursion on the bases if we paid extra we would be travelling by boat with just are family group we was told the cheaper price would have more people on the boat with us so we decided to pay more. The excursion guide said they dont do it privately its always as a group and there was at least 25 people on the boat. The snorkeling and island was a nice experience but the journey was very long. The food on island was nice and the guides who took us where amazing.
