La visita alla chiesa di santa Maria della Purità l'ho dovuta chiedere appositamente. Inserirei un paio di altre tappe di breve durata. Tutto il resto mi é piaciuto. La guida simpatica e competente. Bella al città e il suo mare.

The coach was dirty and the seat belts didn't work on 2 of the seats I sat on. The tour was mainly conducted in German, although the guide did give some explanations in English, but not many. Not a great deal of anything interesting to see in Gallipoli. It felt padded out. I've been to Italy before and normally you don't have time for everything. Given the tour time and short drive, the excursion seems overpriced.

Die Reiseführerin hatte ein großes historisches Fachwissen, ist jedoch nicht auf die Gruppe eingegangen, die in diesem Fall vermutlich nicht so ein gr. Interesse an Geschichtszahlen hatte. Habe Tipps vermisst, wo man z.B. schöne Dinge hätte kaufen können, statt billigem Tourischund oder wo sich eine kurze Einkehr gelohnt hätte.

Der italienische Guide war ausgefallen und so musste Irina die deutsche und italienische Gruppe führen. Das hat doppelt so lange gedauert und wir Deutschen hatten nicht die volle geplante Zeit zur Verfügung, da vom Unternehmen kein Ersatz-Guide gestellt wurde. Was wir gesehen haben war schön und Irina hat das toll gemacht. Aber voller Preis für halbe Leistung geht eben gar nicht, sorry ?????.
