Cosa aspettarsi
Questo tour in 4x4 vi permetterà di scoprire le gemme della costa, le foreste selvagge e i produttori sostenibili, mostrando il lato avventuroso di Madeira. Vivrete la drammaticità dei paesaggi di Madeira da vicino e avrete modo di conoscere anche la cultura dell'isola. Ruben, una delle nostre esperte guide locali, dice: "Preparatevi a imparare i segreti della miscelazione del poncha, l'amatissimo liquore isolano a base di rum di canna da zucchero, succo fresco e miele locale. Attenzione, però: il sapore fruttato e rinfrescante del poncha nasconde una forte carica".Partendo da Ponta do Sol, potrete godere di una splendida vista sulla costa meridionale da Paul da Serra, a 1400 metri di altezza. Poi si prosegue verso Fanal, dove crescono alcuni degli alberi di alloro più antichi dell'isola. Ruben dice: "Le foreste di alloro di Madeira sono la più grande area superstite di boschi primari di laurisilva ovunque. Si pensa che alcuni alberi abbiano circa 800 anni e l'ecosistema è in gran parte intatto. Queste foreste ospitano circa 100 specie endemiche e sono protette come patrimonio mondiale dell'UNESCO".Passando per i tipici "poios", terreni agricoli terrazzati, si arriva al villaggio di Porto Moniz, noto per la sua piscina vulcanica naturale. Poi ci dirigeremo a Chão da Ribeira per assaporare un gustoso pranzo locale. Lo chef Sérgio vi mostrerà come preparare il classico spiedino di manzo alla griglia, noto in portoghese come "espetada", mentre gusterete un bicchiere di vino Madeira come aperitivo. C'è anche un'opzione di hamburger vegano. Per concludere il tour, visiteremo São Vicente per incontrare un produttore di miele biologico. Qui imparerete tutto sulla produzione del miele e vi cimenterete nella preparazione della bevanda tradizionale di Madeira, la poncha.

Leuke en afwisselende stopplaatsen. Bij natural pool geen aantrekkelijk weer om te zwemmen. Maar 1 uur is daar eigenlijk ook te kort voor. Reis in landrover viel tegen omdat we, achterin gezeten, praktisch geen uitzicht hadden. Toen dak openging zagen we wat meer. Lokale lunch was goed. Uitleg onderweg van gids is onderweg, achterin, niet te verstaan.

Absolutely fantastic tour, I couldn't recommend it highly enough, a great way to see the island, the guide was great fun and full of interesting information and a brilliant driver. If you only go on one tour while in Madeira this should be it.

Super Erlebnis, kann man nur Empfehlen! Wir hatten einen sehr guten und netten Fahrer der die teilweise unwegbare Piste perfekt gemeistert hat. Durch die gut gewählten Zwischenstops gingen die ca.8 Std. vorbei wie im Flug. Das Mittagessen im Wald....war schon ein Erlebnis. Wirklich zu Empfehlen.

Food prepared by chef in the forest. Sat in a cabin but it was not very warm. Food was ok but could have been better. Honey museum was disappointing. Guide didnt now much about the museum itself so not over impressed with that part of it. Best part was getting above the clouds and walking in the hill Would have been nice to spend less time in 4x4 and more time exploring

Die Tour und der Fahrer Louis waren super. Es war ein Erlebnis was seines gleichen sucht. Das Essen im Wald war von der Qualität 0-10 eine 6. Das Honigmuseum eine 4. Alles andere wie die Information vom Fahrer wie gesagt eine 11. Wir haben uns zu jeder Zeit sicher und abgeholt gefühlt.

Es war sehr gut,hat uns prima gefallen,der Fahrer hat uns prima gefahren,da hin wo man sonst nicht hinkommen würde,Wetter durchwachsen hat aber gar nicht gestört,sehr abwechslungsreich reich.Das essen im Wald war einfach Spitze,das hätte man gar nicht vermutet,Rundherum war alles Superrrrr 😃😃😃

Sehr empfehlenswert! Keine Massentouristik. Unser Fahrer Till hat uns die schönsten Ecken der Insel gezeigt und erklärt. Zum Mittagessen, in einem abgelegenen Waldlokal, gab es ein wunderbares Essen ohne Massenabfertigung, da wir nur aus 2 Gruppen a 8 Personen bestanden. Zum Abschluss gab es noch einen selbst zubeteiteten Poncho, sehr lecker, in einer kleinen Imkerei. Vielen Dank für den wunderbaren Tag!

Wasz ekspert samowolnie zmienił ustalenia dotyczące pojazdu 4x4 i zamiast 7-miejscowego Range Rovera z 6 miejscami dla turystów zamówił dla naszej czwórki 5-miejscowegi Land Rovera z 4 miejscami dla turystów. Niestety te miejsca były już zajęte, a nam zaproponowano jazdę w bagażniku. To jest całkowicie niezrozumiałe, że TUI zezwoliła ekspertowi na takie oszustwo. W bagażniku wozi się bagaże a nie ludzi!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Guide der uns hervorragend über die Insel gefahren hat,auch an Stellen wo man meint, es kann da kein Auto mehr fahren. Hat uns auch viel über die Insel erklärt. Ebenso ganz hervorragend war das Essen,welches für uns vorbereitet wurde. Und auch die Leute, in unserer Truppe waren ganz hervorragend.

De tour op zich was goed en mooi maar alles was veel te haastig. 20min stops en als je 5 minuten later tetrug kwam was het direct een tirrade dat dit niet kon en dat we daardoor 10 minuten minder lang konden lunchen. Dit begrijp ik niet vooreerst wij zijn nog altijd klanten, dat kon veel respectvoller afgehandeld worden. Het was precies alof de begeleiders om een bepaald uur moesten thuis zijn ?????Gelukkig hadden wij zelf een begripvolle en heel goede gids David dat maakte veel goed.

Loved the tour. Our driver, Matthieu, was friendly, informative and fun. The lunch was delicious. The weather wasn’t the best, but they managed to still show us everything.

Special shoutout to our tour guide Nelson! So knowledgeable and made us feel so welcome. A brilliant day and a great way to see the islands hidden gems. The lunch setting was spectacular and food divine. A fabulous day all round and worth every penny! A must when you visit Madeira.

Purely a taster for future more comprehensive trips. Very rushed, no real photo opportunities. Couldn't hear the guide in the jeep. Lunch 'demonstration' was laughable - 3 people putting chunks of meat on skewers. Lunch venue cold and dark, very basic. All stops were cut short.. The journey back was at break-neck speed. Overall, very superficial. Expensive for the content. The 'all day's trip ended at 3.30p.m. not 5 p.m. Disappointing.

Toller Guide, hat viel Wissenswertes erzählt, sicheres Fahren. Stopps ausgewogen, auch was die Zeit betraf. Essen super und landestypisch. Bienenmuseum ist eher eine Information und müsste mal erneuert werden. Da wir mit 4 Jeeps gleichzeitig unterwegs waren, war es insgesamt sehr lustig und unterhaltsam. Es waren schöner Tagesausflug

Insbesondere unser Guide Gil hat den Tagesausflug zu einem wunderbaren Event gestaltet. Äußerst sympatisch, bestens informiert bzw. informativ, für jede Frage und jeden Wunsch offen. Mit Gil würde ich sofort wieder einen Tagesausflug verbringen.

Unser Reiseleiter/Guide war deutschsprachig und hat diese Tour zu einem Erlebnis gemacht. Er ist sicher gefahren, hat umfangreiche Kenntnisse bezüglich der Insel, Flora und Fauna und ist auf unsere Fragen und unsere Wünsche -wenn möglich- eingegangen. Wir würden diese Tour jederzeit wieder mit Gill machen und können diese Tour auch mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen.

Fahrer Gil war pünktlich da. Hat viel über Land und Leute erzählt. War sehr höflich und lustig. Sehr sicherer Fahrer. Gesamtes Team sehr höflich. Das Essen in dem Naturhaus war sehr lecker und umfangreich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und nehmen von diesem Tag viele unvergessliche Eindrücke mit nach Hause.

Gill, the guide was amazing, he was a font of knowledge and a very friendly and funny guy. His passion was clear to see and hear through his stories and knowledge of the areas. We loved his enthusiasm and friendly manner, he really made the tour exceptional. The food was not the best though and the eating area was freezing.

Die Tour war sehr gut, sehr interessant, leider nicht sehr informativ. An dem ein oder anderen Ort hätte ich vom Guide mehr Info erwartet. Dazu kam, dass man ihn schlecht verstanden hat. Das Bienen Museum mit Poncha Verkostung war ein Witz. So eine Baracke als Museum zu benennen, na ja. Die Verkostung: der Poncha war lecker, aber die ausgegebene Menge war ein Fingerhut voll.

Wir würden pünktlich an unserem Hotel abgeholt und haben auf unserer Fahrt über die Insel sehr viele Informationen über die Besonderheiten der Insel von unserem Guide erhalten. Besonders bemerkenswert fanden wir die komplett unterschiedlichen Ausflugsziele wie zum Beispiel Porto do Sol an der Südwest Küste und den syrischen Fanal Wald auf ca 1100 m komplett im Nebel.

Absolut zu empfehlen. Ein Highlight folgte dem anderen. Ein Wechsel zwischen Offroad, engen Gassen und normaler Straße - gute Mischung. Fahrer hat unterwegs viel angehalten und erklärt. Leckeres Essen zum Mittag.

Mooie tocht. Veel gehoord over het fruit en bloemen op het eiland. Voortreffelijke lunch,hele bijzondere locatie. Het was wel flink koud helemaal achterin, maar vond het ook te leuk om zonder kap achterin te zitten. Misschien zou een plaid voor over je benen wel heel fijn zijn.

Mycket oproffsig guide/chaufför. Hög musik hela resan, vid stopp gick han undan o rökte. Ingen chans till någon guidning! När vi bad honom att stänga till taket på jeepen så bara nonchalerade han oss, och sa att jag kunde hoppa av om det inte passade. Inga godkända bälten i jeepen

Excellent driving to the various sites. A range of experiences . The food and hospitality were brilliant and the beef skewers delicious with Madeira wine and ample wine. Fabulous open top experience and off roading ! Laurel forest stunning and the honey museum intetesting. Best part was the swim in the sea and the views. Lots of information boards which would have been enhanced by a short explanation from our guide. I would highly recommend this trip for anyone wanting a different experience.

We have today been on the excursion below and are very disappointed. We were held up due to other customers being told the wrong date on their booking and were still in breakfast when we arrived to collect them. This meant only 10 minutes to get out of van at first stop them hurried back to set off to the Forest. On arrival we were told to be back at van in 30 minutes. After waiting at van for an hour with other customers we rang TUI as non of the drivers could be found. In carpark 2 hours

Prachtig om zo hoog in de bergen te rijden en zo nu en dan offroad. Daar zou je als toerist alleen niet kunnen komen. Veel info. over Madeira van de enthousiaste chauffeur. Niet altijd te volgen, praat snel. Stond ook open voor vragen van de deelnemers.

Wir hatten einen tollen Guide, der sich gut auskannte und uns viel zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten erzählt hat. Mittags gab es ein tolles Essen, wo uns auch dazu einiges erklärt wurde. Unser Guide hat die Tour mit einem Kollegen zusammen durchgeführt, was mit beiden sehr viel Spaß gemacht hat. Jederzeit wieder. Poncha Zubereitung haben wir jetzt auch gelernt ??

De gids was super het was echt een belevenis en de gids was zeer vriendelijk. Het eyen was veel te veel voor de groep het kan wel wat minder je kan beter bij serveren dan te veel overhouden.

Diogo was a great guide and good to visit the less touristy part of island. Forest was good to visit and meal was also good and traditional. Felt reasonable value.

De gids was ontzettend enthousiast. Hij vertelde veel over het land en deed deze excursie met veel passie en plezier. We hebben een mooie ervaring opgedaan met deze tour. Veel kunnen zien. Halverwege de excursie hebben wij een fantastische lunch gehad. De locatie, het eten en vriendelijkheid van de mensen maakte dat deze lunch heerlijk was. Zeker een aanrader!

A fantastic trip 6 of us in total, driver/guide was brilliant young chap 24 years but we had such fun. Land Rover broke down as we were going to lunch but got a replacement vehicle during lunch. The scenery was spectacular a truly beautiful island. Highly recommend doing the trip.

Die Tour war ordentlich. Wir haben viel gesehen und erklärt bekommen. Und die Fahrt mit den Landrovern war schon spannend. Sollte man dran Teil genommen haben, ist zu empfehlen.

Leuk is de rit tussen kleine weggetjes. Verder is de lunch uitstekend. Minder aan te bevelen zijn de stops bij de zee en het bos. De laatste is veel te kort. Wel graag aanpassen dat de inzittenden van de jeep van plek moeten veranderen. Nu zaten wij de hele route achterin. Dat is niet de meest lekkere olek

Helaas konden wij door het weer niet uit de jeep bij het hoogste punt. Verder vinden wij dat er maximaal 4 personen in de jeep kunnen voor deze excursie. Wanneer je achterin zit, zoals wij, zie je helemaal niets van de omgeving. En is het echt zonde van het geld dat je betaald voor deze excursie.

Man sollte vielleicht darauf hinweisen, dass es zünftig zur Sache geht. Die Fahrzeuge sind nicht die neuesten und die Strecke kann auch wirklich nur von Allradfahrzeugen bewältigt werden. Wer da mehr Komfort erwartet und nich auf Abenteuer-Feeling steht, wird vielleicht enttäuscht Das Essen war besser als erwartet. Die Guides waren top drauf, haben Fragen beantwortet (auf englisch) und hatten viel Spaß an ihrem Job. Für uns ein gelungener Ausflug.

Diese Tour war einsame Spitze, würde ich immer wieder Buchen unser Fahrer war Super entspannt und hat uns zum Teil mit viel Humor sehr viele Interessante informationen gegeben. Einziger kleiner Nachteil war dass die Tour in unserem Wagen in englisch war, unser Fahrer hat aber sehr gut und verständlich gesprochen. Das essen in diesem kleinen Restaurant war Spitze und auch an Getränken gab es eine Gute Auswahl welche immer wieder aufgefüllt wurde so dass es an nichts gefehlt hat.

The whole experience to see some of the island was an eye opener, especially the visit to the honey farm and the barbecue setting.The guide “John”explained everything and found a small step to help my wife get in and out of the Land Rover easily as she is waiting for a knee replacement .

Wir hatten Tour gebucht bei der uns vom Tui Mitarbeiter ein deutschsprachiger Guide versprochen wurde.leider wurde uns auf der gesamten Tour nicht ein Wort auf deutsch erklärt. Auf Englisch hätten wir die Tour auch wo anders zum halben Preis buchen können. Aber so sehen wahrscheinlich die Touren aus die ausschließlich von tui angeboten werden.

Decouverte de jolis paysages mais de courte durée, par rapport au temps très long ,passé en 4x4. Le resto du midi bon, mais un peu tristounet et le "musée" du miel inutile. Heureusement, nous avons eu un guide sympathique; merci à Luis.
