Situato nel Quartiere Culturale dell'isola di Saadiyat, il museo è stato progettato traendo ispirazione dai paesaggi circostanti: un'isola lagunare incontaminata, tra sabbia e mare, ombra e luce.Le gallerie permanenti del museo sono suddivise in quattro ali: Antichità, Medioevo, Età moderna e Periodo contemporaneo. Le opere raccontano l'evoluzione della storia umana: dalle origini della specie alla globalizzazione. Il museo mette in luce il rapporto tra opere d'arte create in epoche diverse, in luoghi diversi e da persone appartenenti a civiltà diverse. Il risultato è una collezione straordinaria e in continua crescita. Il museo riunisce culture diverse per gettare nuova luce su queste storie comuni dell'umanità, al di là delle singole civiltà, epoche o luoghi. Le gallerie non sono suddivise per area geografica, ma organizzate in ordine cronologico. L'obiettivo è incoraggiare il rispetto, la curiosità, l'apprendimento e l'autoriflessione. Il Louvre Abu Dhabi celebra le conquiste culturali dell'umanità, dalla preistoria ai giorni nostri. Non è consentito portare borse all'interno del museo. Sono ammessi solo piccoli oggetti personali come i portafogli; si prega di lasciarli al guardaroba prima di entrare
Da sapere in anticipo:
I bambini di età compresa tra 0 e 17 anni possono entrare gratuitamente; per l'ingresso sono richiesti un biglietto valido e un documento d'identità. I bambini di età inferiore ai 13 anni devono essere accompagnati da un adulto
L'ingresso gratuito è riservato ai residenti degli Emirati Arabi Uniti di età pari o superiore a 60 anni e alle persone con disabilità, accompagnate da un accompagnatore
Le gallerie e le mostre del Louvre Abu Dhabi sono aperte dalle 10:00 alle 18:30 dal martedì al giovedì e dalle 10:00 alle 20:30 dal venerdì alla domenica. L'ultimo ingresso alle gallerie e alle mostre è consentito 30 minuti prima dell'orario di chiusura. La Cupola rimane aperta fino a mezzanotte; l'ultimo ingresso è alle 23:00

Man hat schnell und einfach die Eintrittskarten zum Louvre. Der Preis ist der gleiche, wie wenn man die Karten beim Louvre selbst kauft.

Siamo arrivati al museo con un taxi . Poi ci hanno portato con le buggy da golf fino all’ingresso , siamo entrati subito non abbiamo fatto nessuna fila siamo entrati direttamente nell’area espositiva del museo.

La struttura architettonica è davvero spettacolare, le opere e i reperti sono molto interessanti, le teche in cui sono esposte le opere sono moderne e belle. Il contrasto tra la struttura e il mare circostante è affascinante. Anche la mostra temporanea sui gioielli antichi di Cartier è eccezionale.

Wir waren restlos zu Frieden. Alle Hotel Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich. Morgenessen war ausgezeichnet. Die Ferien war oder ist ein Highlight in meinem Leben. Das das Hotel sehr sauber und gepflegt war, ist normal. Das Wasser im Hauptpool war für mich angenehm warm. Also rundherum gelungene Ferien.

Beautiful building in stunning location. Saw fabulous items from different time periods and geographical locations as well as art by monet, Picasso and Renoir. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Very comfortable experience finished off with lunch on terrace over looking the sea! Gorgeous.

Die Architektur und die Exponate sind ein Erlebnis. Leider funktioniert es mit dem Zertifikat, was Kinder nach der Kinderausstellung und den gelösten Aufgaben via E.-Mail erhalten sollen, nicht.

Obwohl meine Tochter Liv, nach dem interaktiven Part für Kinder, die E.-Mail für die Zusendung des Zertifikats angegeben hat, wurde es leider nicht auf die E.-Mail d.mumm@web.de gesendet.

Großartig das Gebäude an sich. Die Sonderausstellung Bollywood fand ich gelungen. Die Kunstobjekte an sich, mehrheitlich Skulpturen, waren für Kenner dieser Exponate bestimmt interessant, ich hatte mir mehr Gemälde erhofft.
Der Besuch lohnt jedoch definitiv!

Das Hotel war sehr schön, gepflegt und das Personal sehr bemüht. Die Zimmer sind groß und sauber. Der Pool könnte etwas größer sein. Gerade an heißen Tagen ist das mehr in dem Kanal nicht sooooo toll und alles sammelt sich am Pool. Das Essen war wirklich abwechslungsreich und alles war lecker und frisch.

Das Bauwerk an sich ist schon ein Kunstwerk. Man sollte sich wenigstens 2 Stunden Zeit nehmen, um alles ansehen zu können. Man kann verschiedene Kunstschätze, auch Gemälde von Picasso, Klimt anschauen. Den Besuch kann man auf der schönen Aussenterrasse mit Blick aufs Wasser abschließen. Es gibt auch einen kleinen Museumsbereich für Kinder. Die Ausstellung zum Thema „Bollywood“ hat mir auch gefallen. Ich empfehle den Besuch des Louvre -Museums unbedingt. Ich würde den Louvre wieder besuchen…

Ce musée vaut le détour.
L'architecture du bâtiment est très belle et la conception permet de réguler et de conserver une température agréable.
Le musée se trouve dans un cadre magnifique.
