Northern Corfu is all idyllic villages, monuments and rugged coastline. Head into sun-dappled rolling hills to discover Achillion Palace, the scenic Paleokastritsa coast and many other delights. There's also a visit to a kumquat distillery to sample this trademark Corfu liqueur. Spiros, one of our local guides, says, ‘Kumquat liqueur is a uniquely Corfu phenomenon – it's made nowhere else in Greece. It's a part of our Corfiot identity. To learn how this Asian fruit came to the island is a real eye-opener.'You'll visit some of Corfu's top attractions. First up is Achillion Palace. The palace boasts stirring views of the Corfu coast, and the meticulously landscaped gardens are a work of art. Spiros adds, ‘Empress Sissi of Austria was enamoured with Corfu and its mythological heritage, particularly the story of Achilles, and the palace and gardens are filled with sculptures of Greek gods and goddesses.' The vistas are also top-notch at the seaside village of Paleokastritsa. You'll have free time to visit the Orthodox monastery – admission is free – or the many coves with beautiful beaches. A boat trip can also be arranged here.Plus, you'll get to sample the trademark flavour of rural Corfu. There's a visit to a family-owned kumquat distillery. This is a really long trip over 10 hours, but most importantly over 6 hours are sat on a coach. This was not made clear at all when booking. And then the monastery, there was about 10 minutes to look around. Then the kumquat “distillery” part was a complete joke. It’s just a shop!! When I visit a distillery I expect to actually see a distillery and be told about the processes, see the processes etc. the closest we got to this was a point to an empty room with some empty vats in it.

We were given a time to meet the tour bus. The sun was very hot and the bus was 40 mins late. with very little explanation as to why it was late. When we had one of our stops at a small chapel we were given 20 mins and then we were to go back to the coach that was parked over the road in some 32 degrees.when we did the coach door was closed we stood there with no shelter from the sun for 15 mins until the guide came back opened the bus. The driver was on the the bus all the time watching us boil

We enjoyed the destinations as we feel we visited a few of Corfu’s hidden gems and learnt a lot from our guides, Sofia’s, local knowledge. The pace of the trip was reasonably. It was a long day, and whilst the advertised return time to the hotel was around 5pm, we didn’t get back until 8pm owing to traffic, route and other hotel drop offs - we feel this is something guests should be aware of given the impact to dinner plans

The pick ups from the various hotels often down very narrow access lanes meant we had spent nearly 2hrs on the coach before the tour even started. A number of guests including ourselves who embarked early on to the bus were getting frustrated. Once our tour started our guide Sophia and the driver were excellent and athough the earlier delays wasn't great we had a very enjoyable day better informed about the history of Corfu

The trip really was exceptional, however the day was too long. We are in our early 30’s and well in health however we felt that the trip was too long. The majority of the party were mid 50’s upwards and the trip was too long, people just wanted to get back - A few view points could be removed people were not bothering to get off the bus as they were too tired. This could easily have got us all back to our hotel and saved over an hour. We were picked up at 08:40 and dropped off at 19:30.

Guide was very knowledgeable and explained lots of interesting facts. The trip took us to some beautiful parts of the island... particularly liked Paleokastritsa but found it very busy and touristy. The Acheillon palace: we were disappointed that it was only the gardens that were open as this wasn't made clear in the tour description. The trip was very long ....we were on the bus at 8am so missed breakfast...and we thought there should have been a mid- morning stop for coffee and snacks.

The guide Sophia was well informed, friendly and helpful. The driver Angelo was excellent too. Overall, no complaints at all, although a long, tiring day in the sun perhaps didn't need a final shopping stop in late afternoon.

Good- places you saw, photo opportunities and info given. What is so bad on this tour is the pick up and drop off time which in our case was some 5 and half hours of our 11hr day. Only one brief coffee break and no lunch opportunity to 14.15 which then you needed to take from your time in the highlight Paleokastritsa.

When booking the tour I explained that my partner has a disability that prevents her from climbing many steps. At the palace, she could not finish the tour as she couldn’t navigate the steps. It was a long, enjoyable day with a great optional boat trip. Apart from the steps situation, we enjoyed everything.

Der Ausflug insgesamt war sehr schön. Es gab viel zu sehen und zu erfahren. Paleokastritsa hat uns nicht so gefallen. Es ist sehr auf Tourismus ausgelegt und wenn man die Bootstour nicht mitmacht sind die Gastronomen auch nicht besonders freundlich wenn man nicht im Restaurant isst.

Die Reiseleiterin Sophia hat uns viel interessantes über Korfu lebendig erzählt. Sie hat uns auch begleitet und die Bootsfahrt in Paleokastristas organisiert. Sehr empfehlenswert. Schade war nur das zuletzt die Klimaanlage im Bus ausgefallen ist Wurde aber sofort souverän behoben

We were disappointed that we had not been told that the Achillon Palace was not open, only the gardens which involved a lot of steps. We were not given a toilet break when we arrived. The guide was good but a little too much information. Often we were standing listening to her in the hot sun with no shade. The biggest annoyance was that we were not told it would be a mini bus not a coach that took us on the tour. It was cramped and we could not even sit together. The tour in general was beautifu

An excellent well managed experience from start to finish. The guide, Helen, was exceptionally well informed, amusing and willing to answer any question. As for our driver, whatever you are paying him is truly not enough. His handling of the coach over difficult mountain roads filled us all with admiration. Great experience well worth the money.

La journée a été écourtée d'une heure, or nous aurions eu largement le temps de visiter le monastère de la Sainte Vierge de Paléokastrista. Nous l'avons fait en individuel et cela valait réellement la peine. Pendant la visite de l'Achillion, notre guide ne disait pas la même chose que la guide qui nous précédait, laquelle des deux disait juste ? Enfin, nous faire visiter deux magasins n'a aucun intérêt touristique sauf à nous faire dépenser de l'argent. Nous n'avons rien acheté.

The Corfu Island tour was a bit of a disappointment whilst most of it was enjoyable, two hours of it was a total waste of time and not enjoyable Why we had to go to a scruffy heavily tourist populated Paleokastritsa Cove is beyond me. If you are scheduling a lunch stop then include a lunch on the tour It also delayed my delay to the hotel by two hours causing me to move my dinner Booking at night if I knew it it was gonna be two hours waste of time in my life. I would not have gone.

Our guide was excellent. She kept us ahead of the cruise buses that were also doing the tour that day. We travelled on a small bus (approx 20 seater) which meant that we could be quite nimble, but the ride was a bit uncomfortable / bumpy as a result. Given that many of the roads on Corfu are not suited to tourist drivers, this tour gave us a superb chance to see a selection of the island's highlights.

Long transfer of over 2 hours to the palace . Would have been good if there had been a toilet break along the way. There was no time to get a coffee at the palace and the first time we could do that was at 1.15pm which is a long time from a 7.35 am pick up.

Guide very knowledgeable and friendly. Driver navigated the narrow roads like an expert, felt very safe. Some refreshments should be provided, even if it's just water, it's a very long day and a lot of time spent in the warm coach, the temp was around 30c when we went and it was very hot. I feel the palace should be done early on as it feels very rushed at the end of the day, many of the older guests were struggling by this time. Overall a good trip with plenty to see and lots of photo opps

Nice way to see the whole island, however the day was very long as spent an hour and a half picking up people. Would have been good to have spent longer at the beach where we did the boat trip. Felt quite rushed here. Kudos to the driver who somehow managed to navigate a big bus round some pretty interesting roads. Views were stunning.

The tour overall covered everything that you would need to experience what Corfu has to offer, the guide and bus driver were very knowledgeable and good at their jobs. There is a lot of walking involved but you are consistently going to and from the bus so have the option to stay in the air con if required.

Transfert hotel au lieu de départ 4h au lieu de 2h sans être prévenue à l'avance. Bus avec toilette fermé le chauffeur a refusé d ouvrir les toilettes et a demandé que l ont face ses besoins sur la voie publique. Honteux. Pas assez de traduction en français durant l excursions. Boisson soit disant a volonté durant le repas ou plutôt le pique nique or lorsque l on va au bar il faut payer la boisson. Déçu

We were collected from our hotel on time. Andreas, our driver and our tour guide, Sophia, were extremely pleasant and knowledgable. Some of the hills were very steep and narrow but Andreas was able to negotiate them superbly well. There were plenty of stops so that we were able to take pictures of some stunning views. We couldn't fault the trip at all and would recommend it to all who want to see some spectacular views of Corfu.

Achilleon en décrépitude, une honte pour la Grèce de l'avoir laissé se dégrader ainsi ! Paleokastritska, pas grand chose à voir puisque impossible de faire du bateau ( il aurait fallu ajouter 20 €). Retour à 16 h plus tôt que prévu. Beaucoup trop cher pour si peu ! Repas pas compris. A déconseiller, très décevant.

Die Sehenswürdigkeiten waren sehr schön. Jedoch hatte dieses alles wohl eher den Zweck die Grichische Wirtschaft zu stärken. Die Kumquat Destination Station ist extrem schlecht. Ein Video am TV und ein Verkaufsraum. Nicht ein Blick in eine Fabrik mit Herstellung. Nur ein Video. Verkostung mit Shopping. Moderne Methode Geld zu machen. Der Aufenthalt an der Bucht ,sehr schön jedoch verdient daran das Restaurante wo wir essen waren. Überteuert und fast Abzocke. 2Essen Pasta für 60 EUR.

TUI cancelled this trip (with much less than 24 hours notice) which was to have been a highlight of our holiday. We are still waiting for the refund. That, along with there being no rep in the hotel with whom to discuss alternatives was a huge disappointment to us. TUI should not offer experiences that might be cancelled at short notice.

Super excursion avec mon fils de 5 ans: visite des jardins du palais de Sissi (intérieur du palais en rénovation) et surtout de la magnifique baie de Paleokastritsa où on a pu faire un tour en bateau de 40min pour voir les grottes marines, l’eau turquoise magnifique! Bémol car pas assez de temps sur place et on nous emmène dans trop de boutiques pour dépenser…j’aurai préféré avoir plus de temps à Paleokastritsa pour profiter + longtemps (que 2h sur place). Je recommande quand même ++

Dans sa globalité nous avons appréciés notre voyage à Corfou, sauf que pour le prix nous aurions aimés pouvoir nous baigner au moins dans une des piscines. Donc là, vacances sans baignades, très dommage. La nourriture était ********** sauf évidemment les dessert, comme partout.

Das war der 2. Ausflug, der von TUI abgesagt wurde! Inzwischen wurde meine Kreditkarte mit über 200 Euro belastet, für Leistungen die nicht erbracht wurden. Trotzdem musste ich für einen 3. Ausflug erneut bezahlen, obwohl ich schon über 200 Euro für nichts bezahlt hatte. Sehr ärgerlich!

The trip was great. The tour Guide Sofia was so good told you loads on the tour and more. Helped in any way she could a credit to Tui. The driver was friendly helpful and everyone on the trip got on. There is some walking and some of the view stops beautiful. The palace was closed inside but the gardens are lovely. Great day and would recommend this trip

Really enjoyed Sophia's excellent knowledge of Corfu and all the areas we visited and their history. She made it a most informative and pleasant tour and Vangellis was a most excellent and superb driver. Well done Sophia and Vangellis and thank you for a really enjoyable day.

We were picked up from our hotel at 8.25. Breakfast in our hotel starts at 8.30. Therefore we had no breakfast & didn't stop for lunch until 3pm. Had we known that we would have planned something. 3 hours picking people up from different locations. Destinations interesting. Our guide was very knowledgeable.

I was told we would be back to the hotel between 5-5.30 we didn't get back until 7.15, We didn't get the the restaurant until 3 so by the time we sat down to eat it was 3.15. Which was a very late lunch considering we had breakfast at 7.30-8.

The tour had to much travelling time and not enough time to look round each place we visited. The tour guide didn’t take us to the monastery as we should have gone . Then before that she disappeared at the second to last stop with a group of the people for a meal so we didn’t get time to talk to her . Not happy for what we paid and it wasn’t suitable for people with walking difficulties. It stated 4/8 we was out nearly 10 so very disappointed

On a aimé le palais de Sissi ( extérieur) , pas de visite de la distillerie comme prévu juste la dégustation en boutique. Moins bien le repas non inclus , panier de l’hôtel à améliorer . Superbe balade en petit bateau par contre un peu léger en sécurité pour monter dedans .bateau pas attaché . L’après midi la guide nous annonce une visite de produit à base d’huile d’olive transformée de différente manière , en fait c’est un magasin et on est rentré à 16h30 au lieu de 18h …

Le palais est a voir pour son jardin et sa vue magnifique. Dommage que l'intérieur est en travaux donc pas de visite. Mais l'extérieur est a refaire aussi, le palais semble tombé en ruine (dommage). Jolies crique et plage de paleokastritsa, la vue sur les collines de ce spot est incroyable. Si le temps le permet, faîte le tour en bateau, c'est plaisant et rafraîchissant.
