Toegang tot de Galleria dell'Accademia di Firenze is inbegrepen in de prijs van de tour en kost € 20 voor volwassenen van 26 jaar en ouder, € 2 voor EU-burgers van 18 tot 25 jaar en is gratis voor bezoekers jonger dan 18 jaar. Bijkomende kosten dekken de rondleiding en andere diensten die bij de ervaring zijn inbegrepen
Om uw boeking te bevestigen, dient u voor alle deelnemers de volgende gegevens te verstrekken: voornaam, achternaam, geboortedatum, paspoort- of identiteitskaartnummer, een geldig mobiel telefoonnummer waarop u in Italië gebeld of gesmst kunt worden, en een e-mailadres waartoe u tijdens uw verblijf toegang hebt. Als er informatie ontbreekt, kan uw boeking niet worden bevestigd
Hoewel je rondleiding toegang zonder wachtrij omvat, kan de toegang tot het museum tijdens drukke periodes toch vertraging oplopen vanwege verplichte veiligheidscontroles (waaronder metaaldetectoren) en beperkingen op het aantal bezoekers binnen het museum
De lunch begint om 12.30 uur bij Trattoria da Benvenuto en bestaat uit een 3-gangenmenu. Drankjes zijn niet inbegrepen. Voor peuters (0-5 jaar) dient de lunch ter plaatse te worden betaald
Bij te late aankomst op het ontmoetingspunt is het niet mogelijk om deel te nemen aan de rondleiding, een terugbetaling te krijgen of de rondleiding te verzetten
De rondleiding kan om operationele redenen in twee talen worden gegeven
Voor het bezoeken van gebedshuizen wordt gepaste kleding aanbevolen

Meeting point:
We verzamelen op de hoek van de Via Ricasoli en het Piazza San Marco, voor de loggia van de Accademia delle Belle Arti. Een medewerker in blauwe kleding met de logo's van Caf Tour en Gray Line staat daar op je te wachten. Zorg dat je 15 minuten voor aanvang van de rondleiding op de ontmoetingsplaats bent.

Unaware we had 2 hours in the middle of the day to ourselves and then had a long walk back to the original meeting point for the afternoon trip. The guides were excellent but when other tourists were joining us at various stages a lot of time was spent waiting. Needs to be explained when booking.

We found that the trip in the morning which was the Accademia Gallery was very informative and well presented.
However, the guided tour in the afternoon was not so good. Firstly, we had a trip in a bus into the hills that was quite boring as we did not even get out of the bus so that we could even take pictures. Then once we were in the Uffizi Gallery, our tour guide spent so much time talking about single pictures, that she ended up cutting the tour short and left us to carry on alone. To be fair, we got so bored just looking at one thing for so long that we were glad to carry on alone. My suggestion would be to not do the bus tour into the hills as all this seemed to be was to make the tour seems more involved and spend more time looking around the gallery so their is more time for the tour guide. Equally, maybe the tour guide should plan her time better.

Tutto è andato perfettamente ma bisogna stare attenti alla prenotazione perchè nonostante abbia selezionato italiano come lingua, la prenotazione è stata fatta in lingua inglese (quindi con guida in inglese). Ho chiamato direttamente chi organizzava il tour specifico, ed ho fatto cambiare la lingua, vi consiglio di far passare almeno un paio di giorni prima di chiamare perchè all'inizio non avevano registrato bene il cambio di lingua, poi ho chiamato alcuni giorni prima della partenza e mi hanno messo la lingua giusta. Per il resto, è stato rispettato tutto del programma, con guide preparate e buona organizzazione. Toglierei il giro a Fiesole che è stata una cosa inutile e poco interessante, ed anticiperei la visita agli uffizi perchè quando il tour finisce si rimane lì ma gli uffizi chiudono a breve. Abbiamo prenotato 2 posti ma eravamo gli unici 2 italiani del gruppo, comunque le guide hanno spiegato bene in italiano solo per noi.

We booked a tour to affixing and academia gallery only to find out on the day neither were open so we were taken to different galleries which were great and the guides were fantastic however there should have been a warning on the site that the tour we were booking was not available on that day

The tour was very interesting and well organized.
There was not enough people wanting to do a tour in French this day (I was the only one) so it was in English. But that was not a problem for me.
The guide of the morning had an excellent English and knew a lot about Florence and art history. The guide of the afternoon knew also a lot about Florence and art history, and was very friendly.
The museums are really great. The Accademia Gallery contains mainly a sculpture of Giambologna (Jean de Boulogne) and serveral ones of Michelangelo, including its David. It is marvellous. The Uffizi gallery contains mainly byzantine and roman works and Boticelli paintings. A lot of other paintings are very interesting too.
Definitely worth the price.

Guide molto preparate e disponibili; tour interessantissimo peccato però che avendo prenotato un tour giornaliero a causa della corsa podistica siamo stati portati due volte a Fiesole venendo informati per altro solo al mattino della partenza ... non si poteva prevedere prima la chiusura di alcune strade o perlomeno avvertire prima i clienti? I nostri soldi sono stati spesi per vedere due volte la stessa cosa e non vedendo parte di quanto era scritto nel programma. Peccato.

This tour is a must for everyone interested in art and history. Though Uffizi works are definitely not meant to be seen all in one day, I absolutely adored the museum part of the tour. Breathtaking art! Fantastic time!
