Immerse yourself in the city's beauty, history, and culture as you discover its most iconic landmarks.Day 1Begin your journey with a scenic drive from your hotel in Hurghada to Cairo, following the picturesque Red Sea coast. Upon arrival in Giza, you will be welcomed by the last remaining wonder of the ancient world – the Great Pyramids. Stand before these monumental tombs, uncover their mysteries, and admire the timeless presence of the Great Sphinx.Afterwards, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before checking in to your hotel. In the evening, experience a memorable dinner cruise on the Nile, complete with traditional live music, a belly-dancing performance, a Tanoora show, and an open buffet dinner.Day 2After breakfast, your day begins with a visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) – the world’s largest archaeological museum, home to thousands of remarkable artifacts, including the full treasure collection of King Tutankhamun displayed together for the first time.Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to the historic Salah El-Din Citadel, the fortified stronghold that served as the seat of Egypt’s rulers for nearly 700 years and offers spectacular views over Cairo. Weather permitting, round off your Cairo experience with a relaxing felucca sail on the Nile before returning to Hurghada.

Please note that you'll gain access to the pyramids area, but the entrance fees to get inside the pyramids (Cheops, Mykerinos or Kefren) are not included. The tickets available are limited and must be purchased on site, so access is not guaranteed. The adult entrance fee for the Cheops Great Pyramid is around EGP 1500 and EGP 750 for children under 12. The adult entrance fee for Mykerinos or Kefren is around EGP 280 and EGP 140 for children under 12
At the museum, personal cameras without flash are allowed for an additional fee, which is currently around EGP 50. Please note that this is subject to change without prior notice
Know in advance:
The shared tour option is only available on selected dates. The private tour takes place every day. If you're a solo traveller and want to book a private tour, choose the "Private Tour" option (minimum age is 12 years). The 6-people private group is open to a maximum of 15 participants
The tour will be led in English if the minimum number of people for the tour in the other languages is not met
If possible, you may want to arrange a take-away breakfast box and late dinner with your hotel reception before the tour date
Tour duration and pickup time are subject to change due to operational conditions and your hotel location
The Nile felucca tour is subject to weather conditions

The correspondence with Travco was poor. We asked a couple of times for a copy of itinerary but we’re sent only a partial copy despite chasing. It was our guide who finally gave us a copy. It’s a lot of money to spend to not be sure of what you’re doing. However, the trip was excellent and our guide Mohamed Zahar was fantastic! His knowledge was amazing, he made everything run so smoothly. It’s a long couple of days but completely worth it. Drivers were great too. Would definitely recommend.

The guide Niall was a really nice bloke, very knowledgeable and personable. Main driver Kamal looked after us well. The first day was a long day as we were picked up 1am and then drove to Cairo, about 7 hours including a stop. The build up, Pyramids commentary, light show. Mosque visit, Museum and trip on the Nile were great. All food included was adequate We arrived back second day about midnight. The amount of knowledge passed too us was incredible!

We had an amazing tour guide - Manal (Engy). She not only gave us a thorough guide of all parts to Cairo, she taught us about the culture and shared her local knowledge even buying us fresh mangoes on our second day. She was so welcoming and really cared for our well being. She is a credit to TravCo. Also the drivers Abdu and Mohammed, when in Cairo everytime we had finished a particular site they were there with the minibus ready to collect us. Finally the security guard was great too!

Drivers were a good laugh and very professional with my grandad even if they only spoke bit of english. Tour guide knew her stuff and was a pleasure meeting her and the travco manager. Amazing experience and definitly would recommend
