Join this small group tour to explore part of West Crete: Elafonisi beach and the famous Milia Mountain Retreat.Early in the morning you'll transfer to Elafonisi: during the guided tour you will learn about life in Cretan villages, culture, history and traditions. At Elafonisi, relax yourself under the bright sun and swim in crystal clear waters. Small group, excellent guide - lots of interesting information. Elafonissi beach was beautiful - we arrived early to miss the crowds, we had reserved front row umbrella and sunbeds. A ten minute walk downhill to the beach, 15 mins back uphill in the heat ! Milia mountain retreat was an amazing place - the restaurant for lunch has won several awards. The food was excellent (we are vegetarian and were well catered for. The scenery was magnificent. A great day out.
