O que esperar
The Madeira Atlantic Festival celebrates the beginning of summer with four Saturdays of fireworks and music displays. You'll be transferred over to Funchal to enjoy an evening watching the colourful shows of lights and sound over the pier outside Pontinha.The festival will take place every Saturday in June and promises a feast for the senses. You'll have transport taken care of, so you can relax and watch a line-up of explosive performances that artfully combine the drama of fireworks with the rhythm of music for a duration of approximately 20 minutes each. Participants putting on the shows are all competing for a trophy that's awarded through a public vote, so be sure to note down your favourite. Once it's a wrap, your transfer back to Caniço, Santa Cruz and Machico will be waiting for you.

Zu früh vom Hotel abgeholt und am Ort der Veranstaltung abgesetzt und zu lange nach der Veranstaltung erst wieder abgeholt. Qualität der Veranstaltung trägt dies in keiner Weise.

Sehr freundlich und zuverlässige Mitarbeiter des Hotels und sehr schöne grüne Insel die sich zu entdecken lohnt. Kein Strand Insel.

Alles zu kurz und mit Zeitdruck. Stress und Zeitdruck passen nicht zum Urlaub. Für 40,- Eur für 2 Personen ein teures Vergnügen für die kurze Zeit. Schlechtes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Abholung im Hotel müsste 45 Minuten früher erfolgen. Rückfahrt von Funchal ab 00.45 Uhr wäre gut. Die Reiseleitung haben wir unmittelbar nach Ankunft im Hotel darüber informiert.

De lokale tui medewerker had ons voor een week later geboekt ipv de dag zelf. Erg jammer. Dankzij een zeer behulpzame collega konden wij alsnog mee. Het “uitje” betreft een transfer naar de vuurwerkshow bij de haven van Funchal. Een busritje van €20 p.p. is hiervoor te dik aan de prijs. Moet wel zeggen dat de uitstap- en instapplaats zeer gunstig waren. De vuurwerkshow liet op zich wachten, dus daarna heel snel naar de bus. De kwaliteit van de vuurwerkshow was prima, maar kan tui niets aan doen

Desiree een hele goede reisbegeleider dit voor haar eerste keer. Ze doet er alles aan om iedereen tevreden te houden en doet de nodige moeite daarvoor. Met Dank aan Desiree genieten we van deze vekantie. Sebastian de Hostes heb ik geen goed woord voor over. Verkoopt excursusies zonder aanvullende informatie over lunchen incl of exclusief. Daarnaast bij de boeking rekende die ons extra 18 euro voor 2 personen. Waarop hij antwoordde na dat we betaald hadden dat de reis uit Santa Cruz duurder was

Fireworks display was okay Transport to and from was stressful particularly as our TUI guide spoke mainly in German One of the party had a bad fall after getting off the bus and got no help The coach drove away leaving a few of us to aid along with 2 police officers. We continued on to see display Thankfully other English passengers were able to confirm arrangements for return Absolute chaos greeted us when we got back to meeting place Coach not there, finally arrived late. Expect better of TUI

Not well organised, dropped off and left to choose where would be best to view fireworks. All restaurants and bars fully booked and full , endetup sat on a wall without refreshments! Fireworks were good but spoiled by lack of organisation.

The TUI rep on our coach was nothing short of rubbish. The coach left, people weren’t marked off, picked other people up and 26 mins later ended up back at our hotel to pick people who had been left up. A gentleman fell shortly after getting off the bus I asked the rep for help but she couldn’t as she didn’t do blood. 3 policemen helped my husband get him up. She never enquired after him when we returned to the bus a different rep got him a doctor and his shoulder was dislocated. Lot more to say

Fantastic firework display, we were advised where to walk to, to see them and ended up sitting with all the locals who knew the best place to go. Might have been too much walking for older people and instructions too vague for some and seating arrangements inappropriate for some, but being in our late 60s my husband and I had no problems with that. We were picked up and returned to and from the hotel by coach with our hotel rep which was great

Das Feuerwerk war super, die gebuchte Fahrt nach Funchal war mit 20 Euro zu teuer. Der Guide hat im Deutschen Bus nur Englisch gesprochen und war nur schwer zu verstehen. Die Plätze im Bus waren für große Menschen zu eng und teilweise defekt. Die Zeit vom Ende des Feuerwerks bis zur Rückfahrt war zu knapp bemessen, so dass man sich hetzen musste. Das würde ich so nicht mehr buchen :-( !!!!!

We werden alleen heen en terug gebracht met een bus en gids die ons iets vertelde. Buiten de bus moesten we het zelf uitzoeken en we wisten ook niet hoe laat het vuurwerk zou starten. Dus we zijn gewoon ergens gaan staan. Achteraf prima plek. Show was mooi en de muziek ook. Dus de excursie was zeker leuk!

Départ de l hôtel avec 20 minutes de **********. Retour ********** rapide pas le temps d assister à la totalité du spectacle. Erreur de thème car lors de la,réservation on nous a dit que c était le Mexique et on a eu droit à l Angleterre.

Fireworks were brilliant. We were dropped of at 9.30pm but nothing much to do until Fireworks at 10.30pm. Tui rep in hotel said there would be other things going on ie music , entertainment, stalls selling food and drink. If there was we were not told where to find it. Would not of gone if I had known it was only Fireworks. Poor value for money

There were a number of people waiting inside and out for various coaches or buses. We were waiting in plenty of time but did not know the bus was waiting for us before the allotted time. And therefore we were last on the coach which made us very uncomfortable with the other passengers. We had not received any information on bus numbers etc.

The fireworks were great, drop off point perfect with good reference points and ability to find on the return journey. TUI rep was lovely and knowledgeable. Bus was late leaving (no fault of TUI) which meant we only had 90 mins at the destination, which was enough time to see the fireworks, but not explore the area. Was very expensive for what was essentially a very short bus ride. A taxi would have been a fraction of the cost.
